About: Hi, I’m Lily! I’m an experienced pet carer with over 3 years of professional experience. I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I have personal and professional experience with nervous, reactive, senior and complex dogs. I provide calm, reliable and personalised care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Whether your pet needs walks, cuddles, company or a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and cared for while you’re away. Your pets will always be treated like family! My standard availability is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and Saturdays from 9am–12pm. I’m also happy to accommodate early morning, evening and weekend bookings outside of these hours where possible, with a small additional surcharge. I’m flexible and will always do my best to work around your pet’s usual routine and individual needs. I understand how important consistency is for pets, especially nervous, reactive, senior or anxious animals, so I’ll always aim to provide reliable and stress-free care. I always start with a free meet & greet so I can meet you and your pet, familiarise myself with their home, and discuss their routine before any booking begins. I’ll take the time to learn about their feeding requirements, walks, medications, behaviours, likes and dislikes, and make detailed notes so I can keep everything as consistent as possible. Before the booking, I also complete professional pet-sitting forms that include detailed behaviour and medical sections. These forms help ensure I have all the important information needed to care for your pet safely and appropriately. They also include your expressed permission for me to access the property and provide care for your pet while you are away. I am fully insured, giving you additional peace of mind that your pet and home are in safe, responsible hands. During the booking, I maintain regular communication with you and provide updates, photos and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. I follow your instructions carefully and make sure doors, gates and windows are secure, while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My priority is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable and settled in their own home, while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

About: My wife and I both grew up in houses that always had dogs although when we moved in together we always felt too busy to get our own. Luckily for us, mum and dad's dogs tended to stay over whenever they went away. We got the fun part of being around a dog, and the companionship that brings, but also the freedom not be tied down once they returned home. Now that I've retired, I'm free weekdays, weekends, evenings, extended stays or even staying at the dog's place if that was needed. Ideally I like seeing the same dog, or dogs, more than once so I can feel they see me as familiar and a small part of their lives. I usually miss them when they go home! We live right on the former railway line which is now a path and so is ideal. I love walking although am restricted to a steady pace because I suffer with ILD (lung disease). I can do fairly lengthy walks although can't go fast and hills really slow me down. This means that a small to medium sized (or an older) dog is my best fit although I have looked after dogs as young as one. Retirement means more availability so I'm ideally suited to being around for a dog when you're busy. I prefer to keep the flexibility that caring for other people's dogs provides, which is why I'm not looking to have a dog of my own full time. The fact I have the lung disease means it's best for me to keep active as much as I'm able and having a dog around gives the push to walk multiple times a day. We have very small garden which is fenced off but mostly it'll be walks to get out and about. We have an admittedly small 3 bedroom house so a small to medium size dog would fit best. The dog will sleep in the living room preferably in a bed provided by the owners. Although this site asks whether we'd allow the dog to be in furniture or beds, I'd prefer to stick with whatever it's used to at home.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. As well as having dogs of my own, I have professional experience working in animal kennels, where I cared for dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. I currently have a French Bulldog of my own, so I know first-hand that every breed has its own individual needs. I’m particularly familiar with brachycephalic breeds and understand the extra care they can require when it comes to exercise, warmer weather, breathing and knowing when they’ve had enough. About: With 21 years of hands-on pet care experience, I offer calm, home-style boarding and sitting. I’m experienced with energetic dogs, anxious pets and seniors, and I stick closely to your instructions and routine. Safety comes first: secure doors/gates, lead rules, and careful supervision. I can support basic training habits (sit, stay, lead manners) and I’m happy to send frequent updates so you feel confident while you’re away. I work remotely, so I’m at home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention, comfort and supervision. This means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine for feeding, toilet breaks, play and rest. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times (with notice), and I’m available for weekday and weekend bookings depending on dates. Because I work from home, pets are not left alone for long periods and are supervised throughout the day. I keep a calm, safe home environment and follow your instructions closely (feeding routine, walking preferences, medication, and house rules). I’m careful with doors and safety checks, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and have had them in my life since I was around 13. Over the years I’ve been around larger breeds including German Shepherds, Dobermans and Rottweilers, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities. My own dog, Caesar, is a rescue I adopted in Sri Lanka when he was about 4 months old. About: I’ve been around dogs as long as I can remember. since recently moving out, I’ve really miss having them around, and rover is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and understand patience, routine, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I work full time and live alone, so owning a dog isn’t the right choice for me right now, but that makes me even more excited to help care for other peoples pets. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and affection I’ve always given the dogs in my own family. I work 3 days on and 3 days off. So i’m available full days on my days off. This means walks, play times, and check in’s. And since I don’t own any pets myself at the moment, your dog gets my full attention. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cared for my parents dogs for weeks at a time, making sure they are safe, happy, and sticking to their routines. My home has a safe and secure garden and is directly behind a large football field, woodland area and open fields. And as a police employee with a background check, owner can feel confident their pets are with someone responsible.

About: I have years of experience in large-scale kennels and dog daycare centres. I am qualified in canine first aid and have training in canine behaviour and welfare. I have my crazy boy big Moose so I’m used to the nutters! I am able to cater for dogs with injuries or conditions that need exercise suited to them due to my vet physio background:) I am a practicing veterinary physiotherapist mon-thurs. Fridays, Saturday and Sundays I am available for dog walks and drop ins! On these days I can be flexible on times: morning, afternoon or evenings. I always follow any instructions left by the owner. When walking dogs, I have an SUV with a large crash tested crate to transport dogs to and from walking fields if desired. Alternatively, I can remain in the local area that you usually walk your dog, up to you!

About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering most weekends at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary, whenever my work schedule allows. During my time there, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. About: Hello, we are Jane and Lee. While travelling the world we completed house sits around Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Dubai, France, Switzerland, Spain and England. Now we are back home we have been pet sitting in our local area. We love animals, so having the opportunity to see the world while having the company of a loving animal is a dream come true. Our experience We are non smoking, polite couple who take care of the things around us. We love to clean and have things looking tidy and smelling nice. We have been trusted to use previous house sitters cars so I feel we are very responsible and trustworthy. When in the owners home we try to replicate the same routine for the dogs as the owner would. Dogs are not left for more than 4 hours.

About: Coming from a family of farmers in County Durham, I grew up surrounded by animals; dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows and horses! I have 5 cats and 2 dogs who all love to join in on walks! I’m very active and will make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. I have my own means of transport - pet friendly, and able to take them to their usual or new spots. I am able to manage walking multiple dogs at once. I work part time, 4 days a week until 3pm. I am available to take your pets out either way. I’m an early riser to pet sitting can start any point in the day! I also have my own means of transport. I am consistent, reliable and luckily a housekeeper! Your home would be in very safe hands. In my own home my pets favourite place is my bedroom! I wake up to 3 cats and 2 dogs in my bed most mornings.
