About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have lots of hands-on experience caring for different breeds, including Border Collies, West Highland Terriers, Spaniels and Labradors. I regularly look after dogs for family and friends and have my own two-year-old Labrador, Joey. I’m confident with feeding, walks, playtime, routines and giving dogs plenty of attention and company. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with who is looking after your dog, so I’d always treat any dog staying with me as part of the family. I work from home, so dogs in my care will have plenty of company throughout the day. I can fit walks, feeding, playtime and toilet breaks around their usual routine. I’m happy to walk dogs individually or alongside my own dog, Joey, depending on what they’re most comfortable with. I’m available for selected weekends and overnight stays, as well as drop ins to your home and dog walking. I have a secure, fully enclosed back garden with no external gate or access, so dogs can only enter and leave through the house. I have my own friendly two-year-old Labrador, Joey, who absolutely loves other dogs and is very sociable. He has stayed with other dogs himself and has always got on brilliantly with them. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines and any specific instructions you provide. Dogs staying with me will be treated as part of the family, with plenty of attention, supervision and a relaxed home environment. I’m also very happy to arrange a meet beforehand so you and your dog can meet me and Joey and make sure everyone is comfortable.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a baby. Growing up my grandparents also owned parrots, bunnies, dogs of all sizes, cats, tortoises, fish, you name it…my parents always had dogs and cats. I also owned a dog for 11 years. I feel most comfortable around animals :) Being an older sister of 3, I grew up being the responsible one, caretaker and I’d also walk the dogs, train them, feed them and help my parents in any way I could. When I adopted my first own dog, I learned how much love I have to give and how much responsibility it takes to look after a furbaby. He was very anxious and reactive, so it was 11 years of learning and challenges, but he was the sweetest and goodest boy, right up until the end. I’m currently working full-time. For now I’m looking to combine my love for animals and building up a side income during my free time. I’m happy to look after and walk your pets during my free time on the weekends. I can drive which allows me to get to places a bit further out. I cannot have pets in my own home sadly. However, I’m happy to come in and check on your kitten or pooch while you’re away. Work on their confidence by using gentle rewards and lots of patience on their walks.
