About: I have cared for dogs since I was 11 years old and currently have a two-and-a-half-year-old Cockapoo in the UK. Alongside caring for my own dog, I have experience looking after both small and large breeds, as well as raising cats and rabbits in my home country. Dogs staying with me will enjoy daily visits to the nearby park, with at least two 30-minute walks or play sessions each day. With the owner’s permission and where it is safe, they can also enjoy off-lead play. I am patient, attentive and always take the time to understand each dog’s individual personality and routine, treating every pet as part of my own family. I am a PhD student with a flexible schedule, and my partner is at home full-time, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. Our usual routine includes three outdoor trips at around 9 am, 3 pm and 8 pm, with walks, playtime, sniffing and games of fetch in the large park just two minutes from our home. Between walks, dogs are free to relax, play and spend time with us at home. We also do our best to follow each dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine, so they can settle in quickly and feel comfortable and at home. We live in a spacious two-storey house with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play and move around comfortably. A large park is only a one-minute walk from our home, making regular exercise and outdoor time easy. Dogs are not routinely kept in crates, although we can follow their usual crate routine if requested. All guest dogs are welcome on the sofa, and dogs under 30 kg may sleep on the bed with the owner’s permission. We carefully follow all care instructions and make sure every dog is well supervised throughout their stay. I also keep detailed records of your dog’s daily routine and wellbeing, including their meals, walks, toilet habits, mood, behaviour and any other important changes, so you can easily keep track of how they are doing. Regular photo and video updates are provided throughout the stay, together with detailed status updates, so you’ll always know your dog is safe, happy and having fun. Photos are shared in a way that allows owners to easily view and save them as lovely memories of their dog’s stay.

“Jack was really settled & happy during his stay with Andrew. Lots of lovely long walks, and a fair few cuddles on the sofa. They got on like a house on fire, and became firm friends, even though it was only a short stay. Jack didn't even look up when I left after dropping him off... :-( Andrew kept me updated with what they were up to & sent some pictures, which was great. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew - he takes time to understand a dog's quirks & foibles, and tailors his plans accordingly. Jack had such a great time that when I went to pick him up, I had to literally drag him to the door!!”

Our dog Dexter had an overnight stay with Jessica when we visited Gateshead and he had a wonderful time, going for walks and making friends with Jessica's own dog. We had great communication before and during Dexter's stay. As we left Dexter was virtually hugging Jessica goodbye! I'm only sorry we live so far away as I would use Jessica on a regular basis and will do so if we visit the area again, I can't recommend her highly enough.”

“I had to take a trip to visit relatives overseas, and was so nervous leaving my cat alone at home for over a week, and wondered if she would be bored or lonely. Serene was wonderful, she knew exactly what to ask about her needs and likes when I first met her, and my cat Willow loved her (more than she usually demonstrates to me... I was a little jealous, but very reassured that she was well cared for when I was away, totally worth it). Serene was always on time with updates and visits, keeping close to my cat's normal routine, Willow plays with Serene and lies on her lap so happily. When she came home with a bleeding paw the day before I was due to come back, Serene called me immediately and took her to a vet as I asked, arranging treatment until I could come home the next day to pick her up. My cat is all stitched up now and recovering well. Thank you so much Serene! I cannot recommend Serene highly enough, she loves cats and cats love her too!”

About: I’ve grown up with a cat so feel very comfortable with them, and most members of my extended family also have cats so I’ve had lots of experience with cats of different personalities and needs. I have some informal cat sitting experience over the past couple of years, including looking after a british shorthair and two rescue cats. I think I have a skill for getting cats to trust me by letting them go at their own pace and not being overbearing. I take a million pictures of my own cat a day so people whose cat i’m looking after can definitely benefit from regular picture updates.
About: I was bought up on a farm in New Zealand and have had many different pets over the years. Cats have always been a part of my life. I couldn't think of a better animal to have as a pet. I currently have one cat who I absolutely adore. I am required to administer medication to her twice a day, so I have no problem if medication is required for any cat that I may be lucky enough to look after. I have looked after friends cats in the past both in their homes and through daily visits. I have been thinking about taking up cat sitting for some time now, however a busy job has prevented me from doing this. About: We’re not here to make money, we’re here because we genuinely love having dogs around, which is why we’ve set our prices as low as the app allows. My partner and I recently moved back from Australia. While we were there, we couldn’t have our own dog because of the long term commitment, so we used a similar dog sitting platform instead. We looked after lots of wonderful dogs, and many owners came back to us time and time again whenever they needed a sitter. We both grew up with family dogs, so having one to care for again was something we really enjoyed. For us, dog sitting is the best of both worlds, we get to give your dog plenty of love, attention and care while you’re away, and you get the peace of mind that they’re with people who genuinely enjoy having them around. We’re not trying to turn this into a business. We simply love spending time with dogs, and we think that shows in the care we give. :) Since arriving back from overseas i Lloyd have a long wait before I am cleared to rejoin my job so at the present time I’m home full time and Emma my partner is working evenings for now so your dog will never be left alone at all. We have a large open planned 2 bedroom house that boasts a huge back garden that is fully fenced off. We are happy to care for all sized dogs as well as having more than 1 if needed. I am very comfortable with dogs, cats and other animals of all sizes and temperaments. Having said this, it’s still important that I meet your furry companions before a sit to give them a chance to know me and so they’re more comfortable during our time together. I’m lucky enough to have a flexible work from home role so pet care works very well with my lifestyle. At my home I have plenty of room and a high walled garden, so plenty of safety and space. About: Since i was 9 i have always been brought up around dogs and for the past few years i have looked after many of my family members dogs while they have been on holidays. I also worked in a doggy day care for 2 years. Current just got my own house with my boyfriend so I will be free a lot of the time to take dogs in to look after while their owners are away. My home is a few minutes walk away from the rising sun country park! A great place for dogs to have fun and get tired out! I work from home through the week and my only day in the office is on a Monday. My work is pretty flexible so will have a lot of time to walk the dogs. I have a fenced back garden for the dogs to go out and play on as-well as a few good walk spots near by. I am willing to take the dogs out for as many walks as required.

About: I have been raised around pets my entire life, and am confident in my ability to care for them. I have cared for both family and friends' pets in the past when needed, and now have my own. I currently study part time, so have plenty time to care for your pets. Keeping the environment safe and clean, noticing signs of distress and adapting to what they need as much as possible. At home, there's comfy places to curl up and space to play. The kitchen is ideal for a quiet area to eat and decompress if they need it, with managed access to the yard. I have a fenced yard with a shrubby boarder for toilet and run around time. Some access to neighbours' lawn.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 11 years old and currently have a two-and-a-half-year-old Cockapoo in the UK. Alongside caring for my own dog, I have experience looking after both small and large breeds, as well as raising cats and rabbits in my home country. Dogs staying with me will enjoy daily visits to the nearby park, with at least two 30-minute walks or play sessions each day. With the owner’s permission and where it is safe, they can also enjoy off-lead play. I am patient, attentive and always take the time to understand each dog’s individual personality and routine, treating every pet as part of my own family. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved and at home while their family is away. I am a PhD student with a flexible schedule, and my partner is at home full-time, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. Our usual routine includes three outdoor trips at around 9 am, 3 pm and 8 pm, with walks, playtime, sniffing and games of fetch in the large park just two minutes from our home. Between walks, dogs are free to relax, play and spend time with us at home. We also do our best to follow each dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine, so they can settle in quickly and feel comfortable and at home. We live in a spacious two-storey house with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play and move around comfortably. A large park is only a one-minute walk from our home, making regular exercise and outdoor time easy. Dogs are not routinely kept in crates, although we can follow their usual crate routine if requested. All guest dogs are welcome on the sofa, and dogs under 30 kg may sleep on the bed with the owner’s permission. We carefully follow all care instructions and make sure every dog is well supervised throughout their stay. I also keep detailed records of your dog’s daily routine and wellbeing, including their meals, walks, toilet habits, mood, behaviour and any other important changes, so you can easily keep track of how they are doing. Regular photo and video updates are provided throughout the stay, together with detailed status updates, so you’ll always know your dog is safe, happy and having fun. Photos are shared in a way that allows owners to easily view and save them as lovely memories of their dog’s stay.

About: I grew up with Dobermans and at one point we had three in the house. I love dogs and regularly look after my friends pets both sitting and walking. Had experience of dog training, both small and bigs breads, from a border terrier to a German shepherd. Happy to go on adventurous walks, or a walk round the block and open my home up for sitting too. I work full time but have every other Friday off and can work flexibly from home for 2 days a week. I am more available at weekends however can adjust my work from home days to sit around the weekend for longer sitting opportunities. Dog walking can be before work, after work or during a lunch time on a WFH day and weekends any time. I have no pets of my own just yet. I have a garden at my home, 3 bed house with plenty of space and space downstairs for dog beds, crates or whatever is required. I am super respectful and will always follow the dog owners wishes for caring for their dog.
