About: I have had the absolute joy of living with my dog, Chu, for 17 years. She was a 5kg Shih Tzu who was very bossy and surprisingly good with food, except for sweet potatoes and egg yolks. And she also enjoyed sparkling water. With her, I have experienced all the life stages of dogs and got weirdly skilled at hiding things in cheese. I am currently working as a work-from-home freelancer. I can offer a flexible schedule to fit your needs and your dog's needs. I am typically available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. My top priorities are your pet's safety and well-being. I try to maintain your pet's familiar routine in the comfort of their own home and on walks if needed, minimizing stress and anxiety. Before beginning care, I conduct a thorough meet-and-greet to understand your pet's needs, preferences, and any medical requirements. As a responsible pet sitter, I respect your home and privacy. I will follow house rules and also maintain a clean, smoke-free environment.

About: From about the age of 9 I have looked after 3 dogs and 1 cat. I was the walker of our dogs and made sure they were bathed and well fed. 3 years ago, me and my dog done a 6week puppy training course in which I learned many different ways to handle dogs and keep them well behaved. I have looked after old dogs who need a lot more time and attention when on walks or even just on a drop in. I’m experienced with puppies also :) I’m currently working part time nights on a weekend so have plenty time during the day to walk your fur babies and include drop in visits when needed. When I do a drop in visit, unless asked to do other wise, I am there to feed/water your dog and keep him or her company.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs before as I grew up around them and have great experience in walking/ feeding etc. However, I’m new to the professional side of it so please bear with! Your pet will be in safe hands with me whether that’s a walk, or even just a cuddle. 🐶 I’m currently self employed as a cleaner, and I usually only have shifts once a week, therefore during weekdays I’d love to be more active, hence the dog walking. If I were to come to your home to care for your pet, I can be trusted to keep the place tidy, make sure your pet has all they need and are safe, healthy, and happy with lots of cuddles!

About: Since i was a baby we’ve had animals at home. I’ve worked with multiple horses since I was 12 and always took care of my dogs and cats. At the moment im writing my thesis for my study, so other than that I have a lot of free time to take care of animals. So because of this im very open to any time of the day. Safety for the animal is my biggest priority and with that comes trust, i take care of the animal how the pet owner sees to it.

About: Growing up we also had many different pets from guinea pigs to a tortoise! We have two dogs which I trained from puppies and have been walking since I was 14. I am confident around many different types and ages of dogs, having grew up in a very dog orientated family. I am currently studying for a masters degree and so am looking for something fulfilling and worth while to do alongside studying! This means my time is very flexible and I have a good amount of weekday availability. I have pet sit in a neighbours home on multiple occasions. I want to be very mindful of a pet owners home and animal when pet sitting, so both the owner and pet are 100% comfortable!

About: I spent many of my teenage years volunteering at Brysons Animal Shelter mainly as a dog walker and have experience caring for a many dogs big or small, young and old. Through this experiences I met and rescued Monty (King Charles Spaniel) who gave me 8 years of unconditional love. Since Monty passed I’ve been working my way up career ladders and therefore didn’t feel it would be fair to take on another dog. I’d love to be able to support others fulfil their wish of owning a dog, and for myself spend time walking and caring for your dog. In addition to this I also have experience pet sitting and caring for cats and small animals. I work full time from my Newcastle based office 8:30 until 5:00 Mon-Fri however I am free most evenings and weekends. Depending on location I may be able to accommodate early morning walks. After owning a reactive dog for 8 years I’m very familiar with the many hazards you can bump into on walks and take all necessary precautions. I’m more than happy to implement any requests an owner has to make them feel at ease (e.g. muzzle, harness, training techniques).

About: Hi, I’m Jane. All my life I lived with dogs and cats but currently can’t afford own pet. My kids are begging to have a dog, that’s why I’m here - it’s a method for my kids to spend time with pets and choose whom they want in the future. I don’t take more than one dog the same time. Also I am strict about feeding and always follow the instructions from the owner. I’m looking forward to meet your 4-paws friend and become his friend as well. Currently I’m working part-time and I have free time to care about pets and the same time enjoy their company. I can take dogs for walks or for a night with us. Also cats are welcome and able to explore my home and even climb on curtains (what some of them like so much). I have a ground floor 3-bedroom flat. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds. My family is very friendly and we have a nice field nearby to take dogs for walks. I always tidy up after and keep my home safe and clean.

“I have never used this service before, always had a neighbour call in. However due to her illness I needed an alternative. After reading the Rover website I decided to give you a try for a short break. I will definitely be using you again. Belle loved Helen on her initial meet up visit. I knew she would get visits at set regular times. Helen even came early following storms to check she was ok. Belle loves company so she would get plenty of this. She loved her strokes and cuddles. If anything was wrong I knew I would be informed. Such as when she was not eating. I could then offer advice. Seeing daily photos of Belle confirmed she was ok and happy. I even thought she would be disappointed when we came home. Thanks again Helen. We will no doubt see you again.”

About: I love dogs and I have experience working with other animals, such as racehorses. I enjoy building a relationship with animals, especially dogs, and I am sure it will be clear to see that any dogs who stay with me will enjoy their time with me. They will get plenty of attention in a nice, peaceful, relaxed home. Lots of walks. I don't have a garden, just a back yard. However, there are great walking opportunities right outside my house. I work from home daily. I have a lot of flexibility within my job which would make it easy to care for a dog at the same time. One on one just me and your dog, no loud noises or other animals. Would suit a slightly anxious dog that needs a quiet, relaxing environment. I am looking for dogs that are not too high energy, and that will be fine being rinsed off in the shower if too muddy. Also just looking to take one dog at a time.
