About: I’m currently a student studying in animal managment level 3. A course centered around animal care welfare and behaviour. I myself have two dogs (one adult, one senior.) two kittens , and two guinea pigs. I have experience in: — As an animal care assistant- working in a veterinarians caring for animals who were sick, injured or undergoing treatments. —Animal boarding assistant : working in a dog daycare, handling large groups of a variety dog breeds, sizes and ages. I’m currently a student in person 3 days a week, 7-5. And working externally at a placement on Thursdays 10-4. Im open to work on weekends, or after/before work for walks or check ins. For animals relying on litter trays, or daily cleans of pads. Changing them daily or twice if needed. Ensuring food and water is clean and available at all times. And providing medications, and providing toilet breaks. For animals who are able to go outside leashed, ensuring they are kept close until reliable with recall. And any introductions are done slowly and kept away from unfamiliar dogs. Depending on the service I’d also be happy to send regular updates via text and with pictures.

About: Hi my name is Jess! I have life long experience with my own pets and looking after other peoples. Including rabbits, puppies, dogs, kittens, cats and birthing animals. I work from home so have plenty of time, I enjoy frequent walks and nature outings and love having a bit of animal company whilst doing so. Communication is key when looking after animals so I like to have explicit instructions and follow these to maintain routine. I don't mind animals on my furniture or my bed and I have a big fenced off garden.

About: I had a border collie/lakeland terrier growing up and have cared for and walked many different natured dogs. Priority is understanding their personality and temperament, likes dislikes and their favourite things :) We will enjoy nature trails, safe beach spots, parks and walks round the block. Registered with dog trainer so can train also if required :) Have cared for senior dogs and can have peaceful walks, rests in the shade with plenty water, tasty treats and lots of TLC. Currently caring for and training a 10 month Chihuahua Terrier who gets on well with all dogs. I am currently working part time so I have time to play and train your pup, give TLC and leisurely walks to your senior dog. I will get to know your dog and happy to take them to local parks and beaches :) Window open if warm, plenty water and food, music to their taste, comfort and toys. Cuddles and play. Can train if required. Bonding time. TLC

About: I grew up in a home full of pets and I have many happy memories of our boxer dogs, cats, tortoises, guineapigs. In my twenties when I had my first house I’ve owned cats and know only too well how precious their time is with us. Whilst I don’t have a dog of my own I regularly look after my two daughters schnauzer and crossbred pug shitzu. I love long walks with lots of sniffs. I retired early at 57 and work 12 hrs a week in a nursing home looking after residents with complex medical needs. I’m really flexible on hours and have a car which I’m happy to use to transport In my own home I have a secure fenced off garden with decking for catching any warm sunshine and planting for lots of sniffs. I own a tortoise but I always make sure he’s safely away in his heated house before the dogs go in the garden.

About: We have had dogs for the last 10 years and treat them like part of the family. Yours will be loved and safe with us. My wife Tarn has also previously had dogs before Teddy and will be part of the team taking care of any visitors. My son Kayden is usually on hand too so we are very much a team! I am a professional and work from home, but I am currently between jobs, and so have lots of time to spend with your dog. My wife and son will also support to make sure your dog is always taken care of. Our yard is completely fenced in and safe, we have two of our own dogs and two cats. We will absolutely treat your dog like they are part of our family too.

About: Hello! I’m Abbey, I am 31 years old originally from Newcastle. I’ve taken care of and had dogs my whole life. I have a little cavapoo who I adore and I get to visit regularly. I love the companionship of dogs and I previously worked in a veterinary hospital, which remains my favourite job. I am extremely flexible and I’d love to look after your dog and give them all the love and affection! I work four days per week, however my job is extremely flexible and I work from home. So I can fully cater to a dogs needs and work them into my schedule. Finding time to dog walk is not a problem for me, I love being outside and it would be great company! I have a 3 bedroom home with an enclosed garden at the back, and sadly have no pets. I also have no children. I live 5 minutes walk from various dog friendly parks and a 5 minute drive to the beach in Tynemouth.

About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for them. I have two cats of my own, so I’m very used to day-to-day pet care, from feeding and litter trays to playtime and keeping an eye on their routines and wellbeing. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs - often for week-long stays - where I took care of walks, feeding, play, and giving them plenty of attention while their owners were away. I have a flexible weekly schedule, particularly outside the summer months, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention. I’m able to fit in regular visits, longer walks, or overnight stays and can adjust my routine to suit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and stick to the pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest. I treat each home with care and respect, making sure doors, gates, and windows are secure and that pets are safe at all times. I’m careful with household rules, whether that’s keeping pets off furniture, managing feeding boundaries, or maintaining quiet routines. I pay close attention to pets’ behaviour and wellbeing and will always let owners know if anything seems out of the ordinary. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos for reassurance, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention, comfort, and calm company while you’re away. My priority is always for pets to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own environment.
