About: I have taken care of my own dogs since was able to walk, I take my own dogs into daily and always love the company. Walking is my safe space and dogs are too which is why this job is so well fitted for me I look after my own dogs daily so it’s routine for me. Normally I go to gym early then walk the dogs before lunch and at tea time. I leave close to the sea so a beach trip is manditory! I have a fenced garden with one friendly cocker spaniel at home, she loves running and especially the. beach and playing on a field, I’m always happy to bring her along with me!

Maeve looked after my dog Peanut for the weekend and he has had the best time! She has treated him like her own dog allowing him to have cuddles in bed and on the sofa! He had the best walk at the beach and the field playing with sticks. He’s come home very content. Would highly recommend Maeve and peanut would love to visit again!

I couldn't of asked for more from Anna, she looked after my dog Scrappy like he was her own. I left Scrappy with Anna for 4 days (3 nights) when we went away for a long weekend. After losing her own dog, and how upsetting it was for her she decided to start looking after other peoples dogs. Anna and her family were brilliant with my dog, long walks and lots of playing with him. Scrappy spent lots of time playing with her kids aswell, and trying to steal their food (he's just greedy boy). I recieved updates and photos daily. When I came to pick him up on the Sunday night, he didn't want to leave Anna's. I recieved one happy Jack Russell back. I will definatley be leaving Scrappy with Anna the next time we go away.

This was my first time booking with Julie, and she did an amazing job looking after my dog Kody. He’s a bit of a character and can be stubborn, but Julie was understanding and clearly experienced with dogs. Julie kept me updated while I was away, and I could tell Kody was comfortable and happy with her. I came home to a relaxed, well-looked-after, very content pup! Thanks Julie! :)

Doris and her family looked after Millie really well with at least two walks a day, and playing ball with Millie in their garden. Doris gave us daily updates including photos which gave us a good picture of Millie’s day and the reassurance that she was being well cared for. I wound certainly recommend her very highly.

As this was our fist real weekend away from Stan, we were both nervous. By meeting Tracey before booking, it made the whole process a lot easier and getting to know both Tracey and Stu beforehand put our minds at rest. Stan had a fantastic time staying with them. We received daily updates and pictures so it was easier to enjoy our holiday knowing our little man was being well looked after. It was clear they have a strong love for animals and a lot of knowledge too having previously grown up with and owning big dogs in the past. We knew Stan would be in great hands and we can’t thank them enough for making this whole process as easy as possible for the dog and humans

Thank you Kirsty for being there at such short notice and for being willing to have Fezziwig. We could totally relax knowing he was in your care as he loves his walks and snuggles with you. You really do take dogs into your home as if they were your very own and doggies and their owners so appreciate that. Thank you.

We had such a great experience leaving Vader with them and honestly couldn’t have asked for better care From the start they were friendly, polite, and really easy to communicate with, which made the whole process feel stress-free. While we were away, they kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which we really appreciated, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled he was. It was obvious Vader was completely comfortable and having the best time (I genuinely think he would’ve happily stayed longer!!) They really embraced his personality as well, even his obsession with bringing his collection of sticks in the house lol, which made it feel like he was properly understood and cared for, not just “looked after.” When we picked him up he was absolutely exhausted, which says everything; clearly lots of walks, playtime, and attention. We wont hesitate to book with them again and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely great with dogs

Ralphy had a good stay and got to interact with another dog which definitely helped his own anxiety of being left! Lauren helped my own anxiety by sending updates over text and was super nice throughout! Would hugely recommend to everyone 😁

About: I am 43 years old and have had dogs all my life. 2025 i did a variety of House and Pet sitting around the country, with dogs of all sizes. I work from home so am around all day and can do up to 3 walks per day. I live near the coast so can provide great walks both long and short. My dog is active and loves making friends.DBS checked due to my job and happy to provide i work from home full time. I can adapt to whatever your dog needs in terms of attention, walks and toilet breaks. I take my dog Winnie out first thing in the morning around 8.30, again at lunchtime and after work at 5. i have shared custody of an 8 and 11 year old who are both confident around dogs and have enjoyed a number of dog sits with me. i have a fenced garden and can keep your dog close to me when i work in my office. my female dog Winnie is active and friendly, she loves to play but chills in the house. I can crate your dog if you provide and will implement rules but I’m happy to have dogs on furniture and beds.

About: I’ve been a dog-carer for 8 years and have good knowledge and confidence for our canine babies! I was brought up with dogs and other pets too; I’m all round an animal lover and seem to have created my adult life around this! I originally trained in behaviour therapy and counselling at university 10 years ago and now moved on to nursing, which I will qualify in this summer. I love animals and look after them as much as I can in my spare time. At home I have an elderly cat and 4 chickens. I share a collie dog part time also. I currently work part time and choose my own hours. My daughter is in school. My family and I look after dogs regularly and we have our own too. I’m a very active and healthy person, knowledgable of walks to suit any dog in the area and my home is very spacious with a fenced yard. I am a regular attender to dog festivals, training seminars and canine health. I am passionate for our canine babies and look forward to providing the best care so you can get the time you need! I have a very friendly collie who is in perfect t health and is neutered. My back yard is fenced and home is spacious. We take daily walks in open spaces for dogs to explore and play. At home we play stimuli games and I have dog puzzles too. I have a daughter who is in school but loves dogs too and already has a great understanding. She has been around dogs her entire life as I dog sit, board and walk dogs for friends and family. The health and happiness of the dog is priority and I make sure they’re kept to the best standards.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Cat Sitting Experience with Dan! We recently had the pleasure of leaving our two cats in Dan’s care while we went on holiday for a week, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, Dan was nothing short of fantastic. Our cats were clearly very comfortable and happy in his home, and he kept us updated every single day with photos and updates, which was incredibly reassuring. One of our cats has a specific medicine routine, and Dan made sure it was followed perfectly. It was such a relief to know they were in such capable hands. Honestly, it felt like a holiday for us and a little holiday for our cats too! We’re truly grateful for the high level of love and care Dan provided. If you’re looking for a cat sitter who treats your pets like their own, look no further. Highly, highly recommended!

So pleased I chose Emma to look after my 3 cats while I was away. She was more than happy to come spend some time getting to know them prior to our booking and I've never known my shy ex-feral cats warm to anyone so quickly. Emma is friendly and professional and followed the cats routines perfectly. The notes and photos after every visit provided great peace of mind knowing how each of the cats was getting on. If I go away again I'll definitely be seeing if Emma's available as I couldn't be happier with the service she provided.

About: I've spent my whole life with cats and dugs. I grew up with a tabby cat and a cocker spaniel and, when I was lodging in London, I lived with a calico kittena nd an ex-Police German Shepherd. Friends, family, and folk I've got chatting to in the pub have all called on me too look after their cats, kittens, and a range of dog breeds including labradors, rottweilers, and spaniels. I'm a devoted Cat-Dad. Lacey, our nine-year-old rescue cat, has me wrapped round her little toe-bean. I'd love to get a dog but I fear they might cause chaos at my day job in an art gallery. I'm friendly, reliable, and pride myself on excellent communication. I can't wait to meet your furry friend!

About: After losing my beloved Alex, my cherished companion of many years, to old age, I’ve come to understand the profound bond between pets and their owners. Alex brought so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into my life, and his passing left a space that only the presence of a furry friend can fill. This experience has inspired me to open my heart and home to other pets, offering them the same care, attention, and affection that I gave to Alex. I know firsthand the importance of patience, routine, and understanding when it comes to caring for pets, especially those who may be older or need extra support. Whether it’s a gentle walk, a cosy cuddle, or simply being there to provide companionship, I’m committed to ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and valued. Let me help care for your pet with the same dedication and warmth that I gave to my dear Alex. Fully insured. As a part-time teacher, pet sitting complements my flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate mornings, evenings, and weekends to walks, feeding, and cuddles, ensuring pets feel loved and secure. I have a big fenced garden as well as a garden room, my dog Alex was allowed to use the house as our humans do and I will treat any pet the same way.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, our families little jack Russell and Yorkshire terrier cross and family and friends dogs too. I’ve cared for labradors, pugs, French bulldogs, dachshunds and more. I love bonding and spending time with them and taking them on walks as well as playing in the house and having cuddles. I’m sensible, reliable and kind and will make your dog feel very at home. I’m work for myself on laptop, a few hours a week. I do this from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pets and give them lots of love and attention. I will take your dogs for one or two walks a day (depending on what they are used to). I can walk them up to grassy areas to have the toilet first thing in the morning and in the evening before bed. I live near the coast and can travel by bus if they like being on the beach. They would be cared for so much. For cats they would be indoor only. They would be the only animal in my flat. They would be treated with so much care and attention too (if they like attention!) and looked after as you would in your own home. Feel free to bring what they are used to playing with, scratch posts, cat towers etc, so they feel at home.

Thanks to Tracey, Elsa had a lovely evening sniffing around in the garden and snoozing. This was her first time after an initial visit where she met Tracey who asked about her needs and preferences and seemed happy to visit again. Excellent communication throughout, and reassuring to know she will be well looked after when we need dog care again. Thank you ☺️

About: I've been fortunate enough to grow up around dogs. I regularly look after our family dog and have plenty experience with high energy working breeds. Particularly Border terriers and their escape artist tricks! I will provide a loving and caring environment for your furry family member as I would with my own family pets. I'm currently finishing my masters degree and transitioning back to work. My schedule is pretty flexible right now but I'm unable to book months in advance as I generally work away. When I'm not at work, dogs will have plenty of opportunities for walks and play throughout the day! I live in an ideal location within walking distance to Longsands beach, Northumberland park and traffic free walking routes. My flat is ground floor and I have a secure backyard for which I have sole use of. Your dog will be allowed free roam of the flat. My flat is a quiet environment so is ideal for nervous dogs. Due to my schedule I'm able to walk during quieter times of the day. I'm happy to go running with a dog if that is something that is suitable or spends a few hours on the beach playing fetch. I'm pretty active so will always ensure your dog has plenty of exercise opportunities. I will only look after 1 dog or dogs from the same family at a time. If your dog like company I can also introduce them to our working cocker who loves to play.

About: I've had plenty of experience when it comes to caring for dogs and cats. I am known for my calm energy, allowing even anxious pets or pets who typically are not friendly with humans to get well acquainted and settled in easily. I am confident to take care of multiple pets as well, with experience walking three dogs of the same household together. If your pet is up for it, I enjoy bringing them out for adventures in nature, going for longer walks or take them with me as I explore the outdoors - I’ve brought two sweet pups up for a hike in Cairngorms before, or taken another pup out for long walks along the Water of Leith (who can resist a good adventure?!). With lots of love to give, I've dog sit for my family, am a natural with animals and volunteered at animal rescues such as local SPCAs and a sanctuary with blind and deaf dogs. I have also fostered puppies, ministered medication and trained them simple commands like sit and paw. I spent countless hours at the local animal rescue as a kid with the animals and am comfortable caring for them. Would love to hear from you and meet more people around Whitley Bay (I've just moved here, but have had lots of sitting experience, starting in Stirling and Edinburgh!) Available for quick call or meet up if you'd like to see if I will be a good fit for your needs so that you can leave your pet in my care with peace of mind. I'd take time to know your pets' little behaviour quirks and would be open to follow any routine if you'd like. Some breeds I’ve taken care of include: Bigger dogs like Staffies, Huskies, Labradors, Collies, mixed breeds; mid sized dogs like Vizslas and smaller dogs like Schnauzers, Chihuahuas or ShihTzus. Rather flexible with fair notice time. Awaiting to begin a new role where I will be able to work from home 3 out of 5 weekdays, love having furry company on my adventures when I explore the outdoors. Also have a flexible and safe space to have your pet over for daycare. Absolutely love meeting new (pup and human) faces around the neighbourhood. Suitable for impromptu arrangements as well, do reach out! At yours, I will spend time with your pet, depending on their mood - whether they seem energetic to go for longer walks, or feeling more like staying at home for a grooming session. I will keep your pets' needs attuned and adapt accordingly or take care of them as per your instructions and routine. I will be sensitive to your pet's familiarity with me and build trust with your pet over time. I will make sure that safety for your pet will be of utmost priority especially when we go for walks, looking out for things in the environment that might be harmful and also be alert for other danger (eg. other dogs or cars). I pride myself in sending quality picture or message updates time to time so you can be assured that your pet is in safe hands!

About: Hi! I’m a calm, friendly dog lover based near the coast in North Shields. I’m responsible, reliable, and really attentive. I love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe and settled. I’ve raised my own dog since I found her at just 3 months old, and I’ve done all of her training myself. Because of that, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about positive training, routines, and what dogs need to feel happy and secure. I’m great at reading a dog’s mood, whether they’re full of zoomies and energy or more of a sleepy mood. I always focus on safety, comfort, and keeping to your dog’s usual routine so they feel at ease while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is in really good hands. I work from home/ am currently in between roles so I can walk your dog whenever suits! I don’t mind popping in or having a mid afternoon walk. Happy to be specific with timings to help if you are in the office. I will take your lead on whatever you are comfortable with in terms of walks and care and act accordingly - eg lead or no lead. Also happy to do quieter routes if that better suits.

Bonnie stayed with Kate and her family for a day and everybody was excellent with her. Bonnie can be a little nervous around new dogs, and Kate and her husband were excellent in letting Bonnie meet their retriever and another labrador staying before the day, then during the day gave Bonnie time to settle in and slowly start to spend time with the other dogs. Got updates during the day and I think Bonnie had a great time with lots of cuddles!

About: Cat sitting + Clinical researcher - Newcastle upon Tyne, around Newcastle upon Tyne city centre till Howdon/Wallsend, UK Cats have been a part of my life since I was 11 years old, and my love for them has only grown over the years. Since moving to Newcastle, UK, I’ve helped friends care for their cats, and in 2017, I adopted my own beloved black cat who has been my loyal companion ever since. Through my experience, I’ve encountered & managed a diverse range of cat care situations, including: ✔ Feeding difficulties & picky eaters ✔ Managing constipation & digestive issues ✔ Post-surgery aftercare & recovery support ✔ Providing comfort, cuddles & companionship Cats are more than just pets to me, they are a fundamental part of my life... As a devoted cat lover, I understand their behaviours, emotions & needs. Being a cat sitter isn’t purely a job; it’s a passion... With a genuine heart for feline care, I am committed to ensuring every cat feels safe, comfortable & well cared for in my presence. As a dedicated cat sitter, I understand that every cat has a unique personality & their comfort, health is my top priority... Some cats are independent, while others need extra attention & reassurance - especially when faced with a new person. I take the time to build trust, ensuring each cat feels relaxed & at ease in my care. 🐾Tailored Care for Every Cat🐾 Clear communication with owners is essential to providing the best possible care. Whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water replenishment litter box maintenance, cuddles, grooming, medication administration (including injections), or close observation, I will follow your instructions carefully, thoroughly & attentively. Each visit usually lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your requests & your cat’s needs. 🐾Reliable & Transparent Service🐾 To give you peace of mind while you're away, I can send regular photos and videos - as many as you’d like! You can always stay updated & reassured about your cat’s well-being. 🐾Flexible & Trustworthy🐾 I am a permanent resident of Newcastle upon Tyne with a clear DBS check, ensuring reliability & trustworthiness. I am always open to learning and adapting to your cat’s specific needs. Any special requests, let’s discuss them...I’ll do my best to accommodate. Price is negotiable depending on travel time, requested timing & specific needs!!! Your cat’s happiness & well-being are my top priority. I’m here to provide loving, professional care. Let’s chat about how I can help... It depends. There will be a discussion with clients. Sometimes I work remotely, sometimes I am not. There will be the timetable for me in advance for clients to check prior to their decision to contact me. Alternatively, please contact me by email directly. We will schedule a meeting for the pet care. I am happy to cover all the areas in Newcastle upon Tyne. Different cat has different personality and behaviour towards loneliness and facing a stranger, even different attitudes towards female and male. Communicating with cat owners is also quite important to know how to take care of their cats and how to max my help. I hope every cat is the most comfortable around me. As long as owners tell me in brief or detail what treatments and services you need from me, I will let you know if I can do it or not, I will try and learn as much as I can to provide my service based on your cats' needs as my responsibility. By following the owner's instruction, I spend 30 - 40 mins/each visit with cats who need daily feeding, cuddling, combing, medication administration or/and injections and observation. Photos & videos are available to send to owners as needed.

About: Hi, I’m Lewis 👋 I’m a big animal lover and I’m looking to help you and your pup out in any way that I can. I recently lost my beloved cavalier after 16 brilliant years. So I’m looking to get back to looking after some furry friends! I work as a primary teacher so will only set my availability for school holidays and select weekends. I enjoy the company of young and elderly dogs too🐶 First Aid certified ✅ DBS checked ✅ I'm offering:
 1. day care: I will only agree to host a max of 2 doggies at a time but I’m more than happy to accept only 1 if that works best for you and your dog 😊.
During day care, furry friends can expect lots of walks and play along with lots of treats!
 2. Boarding: I will only accept 1 dog at a time so I can spend quality time with them and create a nice bond.
During school holiday day care/boarding doggies should also expect really nice and long walks by the nearby parks but also day trips (always with the owner’s permission)

About: Hello! I’m Abbey, I am 31 years old originally from Newcastle. I’ve taken care of and had dogs my whole life. I have a little cavapoo who I adore and I get to visit regularly. I love the companionship of dogs and I previously worked in a veterinary hospital, which remains my favourite job. I am extremely flexible and I’d love to look after your dog and give them all the love and affection! I work four days per week, however my job is extremely flexible and I work from home. So I can fully cater to a dogs needs and work them into my schedule. Finding time to dog walk is not a problem for me, I love being outside and it would be great company! I have a 3 bedroom home with an enclosed garden at the back, and sadly have no pets. I also have no children. I live 5 minutes walk from various dog friendly parks and a 5 minute drive to the beach in Tynemouth.

About: Hi, I’m Ethan!- I have grew up with many dogs throughout my family and also worked alongside a local animal charity and shelter from the age of 14, so I have a lot of experience in looking after dogs, cats and many other little fur-babies, whether that be walking, feeding, grooming and entertaining! I want your little one to be feeling very comfortable while under my care and will ensure that they have the most fun time and will create a fab bond with them! I have experience in training puppies, administering medication and also being the best play date EVER! I work full-time although due to long shifts I work, I have a minimum of 3/4 days off a week. These can be different some weeks, but they never change once in place. I will always have my schedule updated weeks in advance! I care for dogs by putting safety first, earning their trust through calm, consistent handling, and creating a clean, stress-free environment where they feel secure, comfortable, and loved.

I also have a level 2 in dog grooming and love every single dog the world is a brighter place with them I work full time however only 3 nights a week which change every week. I'm flexible and would need only a day or so notice and if I'm not working I'd be happy to help your pup! We have a fence at home and a decent sized back garden. There is lots of toys and many cozy places my dog to relax. I live in a flat but as I have an elderly dog this isn't an issue

On his first ever stay away from his family, Obi was very well looked after by Ros and Charles and seemed to be very happy spending time with them in their lovely home and garden. Ros and Charles certainly made us feel at ease and comforted that our precious pet would be cared for. We would not hesitate to have Obi stay with Ros and Charles again and already have his next little holiday booked in with them.
