Olivia recently stayed at our home and looked after our very energetic needy Labrador Oreo. We instantly felt at ease leaving Oreo with Olivia, she has great knowledge in looking after dogs and Oreo fell in love with her straight away, we will definitely use Olivia again in the future! Thanks again Olivia

I cannot express enough the gratitude we have for the extremely professional and generous care Corrie showed our animals. From constant and lovely updates, to pictures and videos as well as general check-ins, not only were we able to focus on our business trip but also enjoy our time with family abroad. She also looked after the house while staying in it, leaving it immaculate upon our return. We will gladly book Corrie for all of our Rover.com needs as she is a true blessing and outstanding carer.

Our first experience booking sitter to care for our elderly dog at our home. Emma was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She was very patient and understanding of Dylans medical conditions and feeding instructions. We would highly recommend Emma.

About: After losing my beloved Alex, my cherished companion of many years, to old age, I’ve come to understand the profound bond between pets and their owners. Alex brought so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into my life, and his passing left a space that only the presence of a furry friend can fill. This experience has inspired me to open my heart and home to other pets, offering them the same care, attention, and affection that I gave to Alex. I know firsthand the importance of patience, routine, and understanding when it comes to caring for pets, especially those who may be older or need extra support. Whether it’s a gentle walk, a cosy cuddle, or simply being there to provide companionship, I’m committed to ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and valued. Let me help care for your pet with the same dedication and warmth that I gave to my dear Alex. As a part-time teacher, pet sitting complements my flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate mornings, evenings, and weekends to walks, feeding, and cuddles, ensuring pets feel loved and secure. I have a big fenced garden as well as a garden room, my dog Alex was allowed to use the house as our humans do and I will treat any pet the same way.

About: Hello, I’m Maya. I come from a family of animal protectors who have always looked after cats and dogs. I grew up with pets and have never been without them. Currently, I have two cats, both aged 4, who are house cats but enjoy little walks. I take them out on leads every morning. They are very spoiled and much loved. I'm here to help because I understand how anxious it can feel to travel and leave your pets at home. I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I'll provide food, water, clean the litter box, and entertain your cats with toys—following whatever routine you have with them. I can also send daily photos and videos so you can relax, knowing they are well cared for. I have experience giving pets oral medication (though not injectable). I'm happy to offer a free meet & greet so you can get to know me, and I can learn about your pet's needs. This will also give you a chance to share your pet's routine with me, ensuring I take care of them in the best way possible. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for looking after your pet whenever you need, either for a trip away or for daycare. I live in a flat, with a fence backyard. I live near a park which I love to take dogs for walks. I have 2 cats, which most of the time will be sleeping.

We had two brilliant experiences with Roxanne. She looked after my dog for the day and then on another occasion she looked after her for 3 nights while we were on holiday. Both times I felt very reassured by Roxanne. I can be quite nervous leaving Delilah to be looked after by others but Roxanne kept me updated with plenty of lovely messages and photos. When we met for a meet and greet it was clear how much Roxanne loves animals and what a good relationship she has with them. After the initial meet and greet I was much happier leaving Delilah with her. I would definitely recommend Roxanne to anyone and also will ask her to look after Delilah in the future. My house was left immaculate too.

About: Hi, I’m Phoebe and I have looked after all sorts of different breeds and temperaments, house sitting and dog walking, from the age of 10. I have 3 dogs of my own (a cockapoo, a border collie and a cocker spaniel), 2 of which are now seniors. Our rescue Ruby is quite the grumpy guts, so I have experience caring for more aggressive dogs. I also regularly help out at Brysons animal shelter, walking a variety of breeds. I work self employed as a performer and teacher, therefore most of my work comes in at the weekends, making it easy for me to fit in time during the week to care for animals, which I love doing. I am available for home visits to spend time with your pet, let them out for regular pittles, keep them well fed and well entertained. I do have a car and I am happy to have doggos in there (as long as they are comfortable with travelling in cars) and we can go on walks to the park or beach. Unfortunately because our rescue Ruby is a grumpy guts, I wouldn’t be able to allow pets into my home.

About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for them. I have two cats of my own, so I’m very used to day-to-day pet care, from feeding and litter trays to playtime and keeping an eye on their routines and wellbeing. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs - often for week-long stays - where I took care of walks, feeding, play, and giving them plenty of attention while their owners were away. I regularly help care for my aunt’s cockapoo, so I’m comfortable with energetic, affectionate dogs as well as those who prefer a calmer approach. My experience also goes beyond typical household pets, having volunteered at Sunderland Training and Education Farm, where I cared for a range of animals including farm animals and reptiles. This taught me how important it is to follow individual care routines and be patient and gentle with animals that have very different needs. Overall, I take a calm, thoughtful approach to pet care and aim to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible weekly schedule, particularly outside the summer months, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention. I’m able to fit in regular visits, longer walks, or overnight stays and can adjust my routine to suit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and stick to the pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest. I treat each home with care and respect, making sure doors, gates, and windows are secure and that pets are safe at all times. I’m careful with household rules, whether that’s keeping pets off furniture, managing feeding boundaries, or maintaining quiet routines. I pay close attention to pets’ behaviour and wellbeing and will always let owners know if anything seems out of the ordinary. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos for reassurance, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention, comfort, and calm company while you’re away. My priority is always for pets to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own environment.

About: I born in a farm, with all sorts of animals. I always wanted a dog and for 6 years I got the best friend I could ask for, until he died of epilepsy. I know how tricky it is sometimes to balance work, studies, trips, etc. I had to use these services before, so now that I have plenty of time I thought I could be of some help for others. I work nearby and me and my housemate arrange everything so your precious will not feel lonely. I can do early walks and long walks in the evenings I love pet cuddles and I'll follow their routines and preferences and needs. I can also help with their training or teach them games and rules.

About: I have grown up with pets from a young age and always had a love for animals. My family have rescued dogs many who all had specific needs and through this I have become acquainted with nervous behaviour in animals, signs of separation anxiety and when they simply just need a hug! I currently work full time hours on a zero hour contract with ability to work flexibly around my own schedule and from home/on the go. Due to having two rescue dogs at home, who can be nervous I tend not to offer home animal sitting at this current moment to protect their comfort and space.

About: I’ve owned dogs for 10+ years and worked with them for 4+. Insured/DBS checked. Experienced with many different breeds and age, and knowledgeable on dog behaviour and training. I am a full time dog walker, and pet sitter. I mostly have regular weekly clients for solo or group walks! When I pet sit at a dog's home, your dog is taken care of as my own, and I follow your dog's usual routine as best I can, while working around my daily walks! I have a lot of flexibility to pop back and forth for toilet trips, and their walks will be fit into my schedule. My days tend to finish no later than 3pm, so I will be able to spend the rest of the afternoon/ evening with your dog, giving them attention and cuddles/ play. I have a fenced back garden with no side gate for exit, fully secure. It is a large Astro turfed space with plenty of room for dogs to roam, lounge and play. Dogs will be able to freely roam where they like inside or out of the home. I will follow the dogs owners instruction on feeding/walking and any other special requests. The same applies to pet sitting in the owners home.

Corrie was an absolute hero - we had an emergency a needed last minute cover. Corrie was super quick to respond, very friendly, polite, accommodating and willing to help at short notice. Corrie was conscious to ensure she understood Thea’s routine and how best to care for her which was very reassuring and put me at ease. I would absolutely recommend Corrie to others and we will certainly use her services in the future ourselves.

I contacted Camila about urgently needing care for my dog Tino, this is the first time for using Rover or having someone outside of family look after him and I could not have had a better experience. Camila came to meet Tino, and then came to our home to stay with him for the day. I received photos throughout the day with updates, and it was clear he was happy settled and looked after very well. Tino is our world so I was so nervous about this, but couldn't recommend enough amazing service and Camila is so lovely. Thanks so much 😊
