About: I have had my dog Vinnie for over a year since he was a 10 week puppy! I walk him and care for him all by myself so know how to handle dogs. Grew up with family dogs so have enough experience to hopefully manage all things. I am a secondary school teacher on summer holidays I will be walking / visiting your pet around walking my own dog. Happy to work to your schedule and help as needed when I am around in Newcastle. I have a fenced court yard and live very close to the town Moor. About: Since the age of 15 I have experience house sitting overnight, caring for a neighbours Border Collie with regular visits over the years and looking after another neighbour’s cat daily for weeks in the past while they were on holiday. I’m a student and only at college three days a week, which means I have plenty of free time the rest of the week and weekends to give pets the care and attention they need. My family have had staffies, Labradors and Rottweilers all of my life, I basically learned to crawl with one licking my face!! I am well versed in breed with bucket full of affection and breeds who like to stick to their schedules💜 I work in finance and have the flexibility to work from home, I will be able to do home visits and walks during office hours as well as boarding! About: I grew up with all kinds of animals, training young ones and tending to injuries or ongoing needs. From terriers and spaniels to farm felines and couch cats, and most inbetween. I don't have my own at home now, and have been boarding or walking for friends to fill the fluff shaped gap. Keen to share my space more often and give a safe spot to play and rest while owners are away, or just for walkies and check ins. Cats are royalty and so entitled to their own agenda; no pressure from me to make fast friends unless they want to play or come for cuddles. I'm in and around most of the day, taking time work on some passion projects at home. Often find myself in the park or a cafe, boarders very welcome to accompany me! One evening per week I work out of the house for 2-4 hours, which can be worked around. I've worked in support for many years, and see sitting quite the same! If visiting their home, first off cover the basics of food, water, access to outside and play. Keeping the environment safe and clean, noticing signs of distress and adapting to what they need as much as possible. At home, there's comfy places to curl up and space to play. The kitchen is ideal for a quiet area to eat and decompress if they need it, with managed access to the yard. I have a fenced yard with a shrubby boarder for toilet and run around time. Some access to neighbours' lawn.

About: I grew up with Dobermans and at one point we had three in the house. I love dogs and regularly look after my friends pets both sitting and walking. Had experience of dog training, both small and bigs breads, from a border terrier to a German shepherd. Happy to go on adventurous walks, or a walk round the block and open my home up for sitting too. I work full time but have every other Friday off and can work flexibly from home for 2 days a week. I am more available at weekends however can adjust my work from home days to sit around the weekend for longer sitting opportunities. Dog walking can be before work, after work or during a lunch time on a WFH day and weekends any time. I have no pets of my own just yet. I have a garden at my home, 3 bed house with plenty of space and space downstairs for dog beds, crates or whatever is required. I am super respectful and will always follow the dog owners wishes for caring for their dog.

This was our first time having Severine over while we were away and the experience went super smooth! Happy to have had her over so I could enjoy my trip knowing the cats were well looked after and safe in the meantime. It was clear that the cats felt comfortable around her! She kept us updated the entire time, followed all the instructions I had, was very communicative, polite and tidy! I came home to very relaxed and happy cats and the flat just as I had left it ♥️ We will definitely be booking her again!
Sophie saved us when our cat sitter cancelled last minute and was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind with the girls and kept us updated with regular photos and messages. She went above and beyond when we had a house emergency while we were away and was able to help us sort it - we are very very grateful! I’d never used a cat sitter before, and I’ve had Cassi for 13 years—she’s been my baby since I was in Year 6. When my mum brought her up to Newcastle after my partner and I moved in together, I knew leaving her would be hard, so I was definitely a bit anxious. Katie was fantastic from start to finish. She communicated really well, sent us lovely photos every day, and made me feel completely at ease having her stay with Cassi. When we got back, it was clear Cassi had been happy and settled, which meant everything to me. I’m so grateful for the care she gave her. I’d happily recommend Katie to anyone and would absolutely use her again next time we go away. She also left the house exactly as we’d left it—clean, tidy, and no trouble at all. 5 stars all round!
