About: 🐾 About Me I have a 2+ year old Golden Retriever, so I have hands on experience caring for dogs and understanding their daily needs. I’m responsible, patient and safety conscious, with experience handling feeding, walks, playtime, grooming and keeping up with routines. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved and well cared for while you’re away. 🐶💕 I’m currently a full time student, so my schedule can vary depending on classes. I’m generally available outside of class hours, including evenings and weekends, and I’ll make sure to set aside plenty of time for your pet’s walks, playtime and care. I’m very safety conscious and will always keep your pet’s wellbeing as my priority. I’m experienced with dogs through caring for my own 2+ year old Golden Retriever. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding instructions and specific needs carefully, while providing a safe, calm and loving environment.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a baby. Growing up my grandparents also owned parrots, bunnies, dogs of all sizes, cats, tortoises, fish, you name it…my parents always had dogs and cats. I also owned a dog for 11 years. I feel most comfortable around animals :) Being an older sister of 3, I grew up being the responsible one, caretaker and I’d also walk the dogs, train them, feed them and help my parents in any way I could. When I adopted my first own dog, I learned how much love I have to give and how much responsibility it takes to look after a furbaby. He was very anxious and reactive, so it was 11 years of learning and challenges, but he was the sweetest and goodest boy, right up until the end. I’m currently working full-time. For now I’m looking to combine my love for animals and building up a side income during my free time. I’m happy to look after and walk your pets during my free time on the weekends. I can drive which allows me to get to places a bit further out. I cannot have pets in my own home sadly. However, I’m happy to come in and check on your kitten or pooch while you’re away. I can also pet sit if needed and play with, feed and walk your dogs. I can also train and teach your dog (or cat, if they feel like it haha) some tricks. Work on their confidence by using gentle rewards and lots of patience on their walks. I have experience with reactive dogs and I know how important it is to maintain comfort and special care for the sensitive pups.

“I honestly can’t rate Dominic highly enough. He’s a genuine treasure - and finding him has been a literal Godsend. I’ve been looking for the perfect doggie friend to look after my three darlings in my own home as I need to go away regularly to visit my dear elderly Dad - and can’t feasibly take a Doberman and two lively terriers dogs on public transport from Manchester to Surrey! Dominic is even nicer in person than on his profile. He is very personable, warm, calm and professional - and his love of animals is immediately evident. I took my youngest doggie (a loveable, very boisterous terrier boy with some behavioural challenges…) along for an initial meet-up with Dom a couple of weeks before his stay. Within a few minutes of his arrival, my little one had jumped up and across the table to get into Dom’s arms for an enthusiastic cuddle :) I felt completely confident leaving Dom in charge of my home and little creatures when I set off to my Dad’s for four nights - and I was right to do so. Regular texts, photos or videos arrived each day (the dogs clearly enjoying themselves too much with their new friend to be missing me at all!) - and on my return I found them on excellent form, calm and happy. And Dom is so tidy that it didn’t look like anyone had been staying here! It was such a relief and comfort to be able to concentrate on my Dad knowing that my doggies were being so well-loved and cared for in my absence.
