Safety, trust & environment
I will only be able to care for your pet at your own home as I am living in student housing where no animals are allowed. I am able to crate your dog if necessary or if you would prefer me to do so. I am very focused on ensuring the safety of your pet, and I will have my attention on them at all times.
Information Eleanor B. would like to know about your pet
If they have medication, the dose and how it’s administered. How they interact with people and other dogs. How long they normally go on a walk for. On lead or of lead walking. Any training needed. How much food to give them. Things they’re not allowed to have. If they’re allowed on furniture or not.
A typical day
When I wake up I usually let them out into the garden or to a green area nearby to let them do their business and wonder around. Then they will get their good and an hour after that have eaten we will go for a walk. We will go on a nice walk, the duration will depend on the dog and their usual needs, but sometimes we’ll go for longer if it’s an especially nice day. Once home we will cuddle, play and I’ll let them take a nap if they need to. I’ll serve them dinner and after that I’ll take them for another walk. I’ll allow them into the back garden multiple times a day as well. We’ll end the day with lots of love.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Eleanor (but you can call me Ellie). Throughout my childhood into my adult years, my family has looked after dogs for neighbours, friends, collegues and more. It was a wonderful experience. Going into my teenage years the tasks of walking, feeding, bathing and playing were put onto me and my brothers. I have looked after a range of dogs in size and age, from puppies to seniors and from a Daschund to a Great Dane/Labrador mix. I also have experience giving medicine to those who need it. I adore being around animals, and would love to make sure that your dog has a fantastic, fun time filled with playing and cuddles. I love walking, and would enjoy long walks in interesting and enriching places.

Reviews

Ellie look after my 50kg Akita Hunter while I was away for a wedding, great communication throughout and made Hunter feel safe happy. Highly recommend.

Eleanor has looked after my very very nervous rescue staffy cinnamon a few times now, she has always been a dream with her and put mine and cinnamons nerves to ease with how responsible and trustworthy she is with her ( always brings cheese strings round for her too which helps)

We have a new family member. It’s Eleanor. See you soon and stay as long as you like. Charlize and Franklin love you ❤️

Ellie was fantastic, in terms of communicating and organising and in her clear affection for Milo and engagement with him. He was a very happy dog after her visit.
