About: I have always had dogs in my life. My family currently have 6 at home! I absolutely love walks and cuddles. I have experience with multiple different breeds, and I have a soft spot for spaniels, lagottos, terriers, doodles and labs. We’ve raised puppies before, as well as having multiple senior dogs throughout the years. I love taking dogs for long walks through forestry or along the beach! I have also had experience with a very ‘energetic’ Staffie 😉 and would like to get more experience with them. I work two jobs but have a fairly flexible schedule. I am mainly available to do walks/visits on evenings, but sometimes also have days off during the week, so it’s best just to message and we can figure out days/times. I have more flexibility in the next couple of weeks, as I am waiting to start a job in a school. I am more wanting to do walks/home visits however I can have dogs round at my flat. There are no other pets here, and we have a small backyard. However if your dog was staying with me then they would get plenty of walks, as I live minutes from Heaton Park!

About: I’m a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, sizes and temperaments. I have done a range of volunteering/placement at different shelters and organisations. I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as older pets who may need extra patience and attention. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand animal behaviour, health and safety, and husbandry. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative and genuinely love spending time with animals. I am in my summer holidays of uni with few other commitments so have plenty of time to look after and play with your pets! I enjoy keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with games, enrichment activities and exploring local parks and new walking routes. I always adapt to each dog’s energy levels and routine so they feel comfortable and happy.

About: I have previous experience as a dog walker and cat sitter. I have grown up with multiple animals in the home and trained my family dog to pass his therapy dog exams last year. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to entertain your pets! I am also on a very flexible schedule so can adapt if your pets have any special requirements or if I am needed to be there for constant care. I have two cats in my own home so I am unable to house pets in my house as I don’t want to cause them or your own pet any undue stress!

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals, training young ones and tending to injuries or ongoing needs. From terriers and spaniels to farm felines and couch cats, and most inbetween. I don't have my own at home now, and have been boarding or walking for friends to fill the fluff shaped gap. Keen to share my space more often and give a safe spot to play and rest while owners are away, or just for walkies and check ins. I'm fair and fun with dogs, love to make their brain and nose work with hide & seek games. Cats are royalty and so entitled to their own agenda; no pressure from me to make fast friends unless they want to play or come for cuddles. I'm in and around most of the day, taking time work on some passion projects at home. Often find myself in the park or a cafe, boarders very welcome to accompany me! One evening per week I work out of the house for 2-4 hours, which can be worked around. I've worked in support for many years, and see sitting quite the same! If visiting their home, first off cover the basics of food, water, access to outside and play. Keeping the environment safe and clean, noticing signs of distress and adapting to what they need as much as possible. At home, there's comfy places to curl up and space to play. The kitchen is ideal for a quiet area to eat and decompress if they need it, with managed access to the yard. I have a fenced yard with a shrubby boarder for toilet and run around time. Some access to neighbours' lawn.

About: Since the age of 15 I have experience house sitting overnight, caring for a neighbours Border Collie with regular visits over the years and looking after another neighbour’s cat daily for weeks in the past while they were on holiday. I’m a student and only at college three days a week, which means I have plenty of free time the rest of the week and weekends to give pets the care and attention they need. I always respect people’s homes and boundaries while pet sitting, making sure pets are safe, comfortable, and as calm as possible while their owners are away since change can be stressful and confusing for pets.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little girl and grew up with my dog by my side up until I was 19, so I know how to take care of dogs within all stages of life. Now at 23 I’m waiting for the right time to get another dog of my own so I love nothing more than being in the company of any dog. I look forward to taking your dog on long walks and having plenty of cuddles and playtime. I will always make sure your dog gets whatever exercise and care they require and can promise there will be nothing but wagging tails with me. In the past I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs for both day care and overnight stays and have experience with dog walking and day care on Borrow My Doggy. I am currently working part time with differing hours each week so I will have many available days for dog walks and day care services. I don’t have any other pets so all my attention will be on your dog. I live in a ground floor flat with a large, fenced off communal garden giving your dog plenty of secure space to run around.

About: My love of animals has been a constant factor in my life for as long as I can remember. I have had the joy of raising 3 dogs of my own and caring for many more and I find very few things more fulfilling than gaining the trust and love of a pet whilst looking after it. I am able to be firm with pets, ensuring that rules are followed and that their behaviour is under control but in the same breath I am always gentle and make sure I am doing my best to care for them. I can be available throughout the day, and can offer as much time as you and your pets require for either walks, home visits or house sitting. I work part time so if looking after your pet for multiple days I may have to leave for a few hours a day. Typically walks will be between 30-45 minutes and I can offer up to 2 walks a day. Unfortunately I cannot offer to look after pets in my own home so any pet sitting will have to occur in your home, however I can provide constant supervision to any pets when I am petsitting. If during home visits you would like me to water plants or bring in mail etc. that will be no issue, and I can feed and administer oral medication for your pets if required. I would describe myself as attentive, reliable and caring and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, whether that be during a walk or while looking after them in a home setting. I work part time, usually between 10-5.30pm. I can typically provide my availability 2 weeks in advance and keep my calender up to date with any days I am not available. I do not offer care in my own home unfortunately, however for care in your home I will be very attentive to ensure that your pets are safe.

About: I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember and been around them since day 1. I am an animal management graduate who has been around a multitude of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and exotics. I also have experience working with larger animals such as farm animals and horses. I have some experience working in a pet store, a petting zoo and horse riding school. I am also currently teaching myself to do basic dog grooms with an aim of going back to school to earn certification in dog grooming. Currently, I have 2 cats, a male named Stanley and a female named Stella who are my whole life. I also regularly visit my parents who have 4 cats (2 of which are Stella's brothers), 2 Pugs, a Cocker x Springer Spaniel, 2 rabbits, an African Grey and a Horsefield tortoise, so I do have regular contact with other animals and am always excited to meet new ones. I am currently self-employed so am typically available for any requests and enquiries except for Sundays. I will always try my best to stick to your typical schedule/routine in order to keep your family as happy and comfortable as possible. The safety of your pet, home and yourself is of the utmost importance to me. I am DBS checked for your peace of mind as well as having insurance. Upon our initial meet and greet, I aim to take as much information about your pet and routine as possible so that I can get an idea of their character and needs to better create a plan that suits all involved. In regards to dog walks, you can opt to use your own leads or one of mine, however, please note that due to the safety issues associated with them, I do not use retractable leads.
