About: I’m a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, sizes and temperaments. I have done a range of volunteering/placement at different shelters and organisations. I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as older pets who may need extra patience and attention. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand animal behaviour, health and safety, and husbandry. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative and genuinely love spending time with animals. I am in my summer holidays of uni with few other commitments so have plenty of time to look after and play with your pets! I enjoy keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with games, enrichment activities and exploring local parks and new walking routes. I always adapt to each dog’s energy levels and routine so they feel comfortable and happy.

About: I have been surrounded by and caring for animals my entire life. About: My pet care journey is driven by a genuine love and understanding of dogs. Having recently graduated, I’m currently based at home where I live with my six dogs, including two puppies I’ve trained myself. This environment allows me to stay actively involved in dog care and training on a daily basis. While I’ve been less active on Rover recently, I’ve continued to care for a number of regular clients, maintaining consistent experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I particularly enjoy working with more anxious dogs, helping them feel comfortable, secure and settled in my care. My background also includes working at a doggy daycare centre, where I developed confidence handling multiple dogs at once and adapting to different personalities and energy levels. My key strengths include puppy training, building trust with nervous dogs, and providing consistent, personalised care. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and routines, ensuring they feel safe, happy and well looked after at all times. As a Master’s student (with a background in Zoology at Newcastle University), I balance my studies alongside a flexible part-time job and my passion for pet care. This means I have the time, organisation, and reliability to give your pets the attention they deserve. I regularly update my calendar to ensure I’m fully available and never overbooked, so there’s always plenty of time for walks, play, cuddles, and making sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for. Safety, trust, and a welcoming environment are my top priorities in pet care. At home, I have a secure fenced garden perfect for safe play. About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them. For me, aside from doing an extra money to support my period of study here, it will be a genuine pleasure to spend time with your pets and give them all the love I keep with me for my cats, and I will make sure to take care of your pets with the same attention I would like mine to be cared, ensuring they will be safe, respected and catered to all needs.
