About: I’m a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, sizes and temperaments. I have done a range of volunteering/placement at different shelters and organisations. I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as older pets who may need extra patience and attention. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand animal behaviour, health and safety, and husbandry. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative and genuinely love spending time with animals. I am in my summer holidays of uni with few other commitments so have plenty of time to look after and play with your pets! I enjoy keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with games, enrichment activities and exploring local parks and new walking routes. I always adapt to each dog’s energy levels and routine so they feel comfortable and happy.

About: I grew up with dogs, but since moving out of the family home and establishing life in Newcastle I miss having a furry companion! I am often trusted with looking after family / friends dogs and I live in a great area for walking them. I work full time but a lot of it is from home, and my partner gets in usually around 3pm. He has grown up with lurchers and is an avid dog lover like me. There will be plenty of time for walks and would only accept bookings where the dog will be cared for the best we can with our schedule. It is my partner and I in a flat with no pets. Whilst we don’t have a garden we have green spaces on our doorstep for regular ‘business’ trips. We live in close proximity to great parks such as Havannah, Woolsington, Weetslade, Big waters etc. Your dog would be part of the family, from coming on walks to chilling on the sofa (if allowed by you).

About: I am DBS checked.I bring a calm, caring, and attentive approach to every pet I care for—whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog who needs a little extra TLC. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages. I quickly build trust with both pets and their owners. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I always go the extra mile to ensure they feel safe, loved, and happy on our walks. I’m available for walks after work on weekdays and throughout the weekend, making me a great fit for pet parents who need flexible and reliable help during busy times. Because I already structure my day around caring for my own pup, adding more furry friends to the mix is something I genuinely enjoy. Dog boarding is not currently offered. I offer puppy and play visits in your home, providing them with their usual meal, toilet breaks and play time.

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was a young child. I grew up with collies, lab and staffie mixes, and rescue cats. I currently have a very dog friendly cat if you are looking for some socialisation, but she is equally happy doing her own thing if you would prefer they remain separate. I work from home with access to a secure garden, and woodland walks only a couple of minutes from my house. I'm available all days, evenings and weekends with notice. I have a pet cat who is friendly with dogs, however she has her own secure room in the house where she can retreat to if she needs to. I have a fenced garden and a dog-friendly cat, however she can be secured away in a different part of the house if necessary. I have a crate that can be used if necessary. I drive and I am located within easy reach of several 24 hour veterinary practices.

About: I’ve owned animals my whole life up until recently, after my senior pup sadly passed away! Good with puppies who need entertaining and tiring out, as well elderly pets who need a calming and more subdued presence. Looked after many of my friends pets such as cats and dogs - even my sisters tortoise! Confident with smaller animals too like hamsters and guinea pigs. Have a good inkling for training basics with puppies such as sit, wait etc. I work in the film industry and work away when I have a contract, things are very quiet at the moment so I have complete free availability to look after your pets and available at short notice for your needs! Depending on what your fur baby needs, I’ll be there! Playtime with a new young pup, someone to sit with your elderly dog and keep them company… long or short walks or someone to help with a little bit of basic training if you’re out the house all day. I’m a very easy going individual who is confident with dogs and provide the specific care they need

About: I’ve had a variety of dogs growing up who I have loved, walked, fed and played with. I have had lots of experience of dog-sitting, boarding and walking through Rover with dogs of all ages and sizes when I was at university. Now working as a registered nurse and would love to continue looking after gorgeous pups :) I work as a registered A&E nurse but have multiple days a week off where I am able to take care of you and your dogs needs! I have a lovely fenced back garden which has grass and I live near a large field and a nice area perfect for taking your dog on a walk. I offer a friendly loving household which is suited to the needs of all dogs.

About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them.
