About: As a former nurse, I am confident administering medication if needed and any additional needs, making sure every dog has my full attention. I am retired with no dependents, this allows me flexibility to suit any requirements A dog will easily fit into my daily routine with regular walks, playtime and cuddles no matter what the weather, I do like to keep fit with walking and swimming. My availability during July and August is limited due to prior commitments. please message me with any queries. From September I will be available on a daily basis I live in a first floor flat that is secure and pet friendly I ensure a set routine for toileting with safety in mind at all times. There is access to the allotments close by for a short walk and no traffic at night. I have had several dogs staying with me over the last 2 years since moving here.

About: As proud owners of our own wire-haired dachshund Gus, we know just how much our dogs mean to us. We offer plenty of love, attention, walks and cuddles in a safe and caring home. Every dog is treated like part of our family, and we will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax whilst you’re away. Both myself and my wife are able to work from home during the week on regular basis, as pet care is a priority with our own dog. Therefore, if caring for your dog we would ensure someone would be able to care for them every day. I have a fenced garden with plenty space for your dog to run around and play with our own dog. If necessary or preferred our own dog was crate trained and slept in a crate until very recently. Any visits to check on dogs will be done at times best suited to individual dogs and walks/play time will always be p provided. We have done this regularly for dogs in our own families.

“Dillon was on only his second ever sleepover, his first since the pandemic and his first with Ros and Charles. At only 2 yrs old he was understandably anxious but very excited. Ros & Charles were very understanding and accommodating, helping Dillon overcome his separation anxiety and settle in. They clearly enjoyed having Dillon stay and despite the inclement weather he enjoyed a couple of walks in the beautiful srroundings. The change of surroundings did upset his meal routine and he didn't eat a lot, but he was quickly back to normal when he returned home, and I'm sure that on a longer stay this would not be a problem. Dillon is returning for a full weeks holiday in March and we feel very reassured that he will be in safe and very welcoming hands.”

About: I have a beautiful Labrador called Rex and my whole family have dogs! Love getting out on walks and would treat any dog as part of the family. I currently own a gorgeous black Labrador called Rex I’m free most weekends for drop in visits or evening visits, perfect if your out for the day! I can do multiple check ins or walks when your out My lab is sometimes lead reactive when meeting new dogs so I am very limited to caring for dogs when I have Rex, unless we arrange to meet and the dogs got used to each other over time I do work full time Monday-Friday, so can discuss daily arrangements to suit you. I have a fenced yard and fenced garden to keep dogs safe. I live local to a park for some lovely walks. Happy for them to be a part of the family when staying with me and can sleep where ever they’re comfortable!

About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, since I was just about able to walk actually. My family, both immediate and extended, has always kept dogs and I've always made it my mission to have a good rapport with them. I'm passionate about their care and making sure they're well looked after. I have a fully enclosed garden and live 5 minutes away from Cramlington nature reserve and some wide open fields below the hospital. We're big fans of enrichment games and general playing if your dog likes it. I do understand however, that every dog is unique and some may just want to chill out on their own. Please let me know as much information as you can give about your pet and their unique personality, likes, dislikes etc. I have experience with anxious dogs and trigger issues, as my own Springer, Bailey, is an anxious lad and has various triggers when outside in the world, so I've learned a lot firsthand with him. He is a great house dog, just the world is very overwhelming for him at times. I'm currently between jobs, so I am totally free to take care of and devote all my attention to your best friend as long as they are in my care. I have a totally enclosed garden and live very close to Cramlington Nature Reserve and a multitude of other walking paths. They will be entirely free to roam the house as they please, sit on the sofas or lounge in the garden (weather permitting, of course). They will be treated as my own when in my care. Plenty of enrichment games, be it a snuffle mat, folded up kitchen roll tubes to shred etc.

About: I have 2 years of experience as a degree level lecturer teaching canine and feline behaviour, welfare, husbandry and Training. In addition to this, I have a First class honours degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare and have had pets since I was born, growing up with dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits. I began working in the animal industry at 16 in aquariums and zoos and took my first step into caring for dogs professionally through helping my sister open a dog day care in the North East. I can train puppies and adult dogs using various techniques including: obedience, life skills, behavioural modification and scent training. Which means I can continue any ongoing training following your existing training plan. All training and husbandry is only done using positive based techniques (I do not use aversive based training). Currently I am still working as a lecturer until September. So I am only available Friday- Monday until September 4th. Should you attain my services I will be at the property full-time. So you do not need to worry about your dog being left alone. The only time your pets will be alone is if I need to go to the shop to buy food. Good relationships with a dog and parents are based on high levels of kindness and understanding. Any pet in my care will always be treated like family, where there are no limits to what you would do to give them their best life. In addition, any "house rules" or requirements will be strictly followed including pet care/lifestyle and living arrangements.

I volunteer at The Dog and Cat Shelter and cared for my gorgeous border terrier Toby who lived until he was 17 years old. I work from home with flexible hours so I’m available at any time of the day. I’m free weekends, school holidays and bank holidays/Christmas time. Your dog/dogs will get 1-1 committed care with no other pets in my home or other dogs boarding with me. Although we live in a flat we have green areas right outside to take your dog out for the toilet. We also have beautiful walks nearby and I drive so can also take them to their favourite spot. With working from homeI’m in the flat 24/7 so your dog won’t be left at all and we have very little clutter for your dog won’t be able to chew on or eat anything! When caring for pets, we prioritise their safety by ensuring the environment is secure and pet-proofed. I will always offer to meet you and your dog/dogs in advance to get to know you both. I’ll follow your instructions closely, creating a routine that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Building trust through regular communication with yourself and ensuring they feel loved and cared for is essential to me.
About: I have been raised around pets my entire life, and am confident in my ability to care for them. I have cared for both family and friends' pets in the past when needed, and now have my own. I currently study part time, so have plenty time to care for your pets. About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was a young child. I grew up with collies, lab and staffie mixes, and rescue cats. I currently have a very dog friendly cat if you are looking for some socialisation, but she is equally happy doing her own thing if you would prefer they remain separate. I work from home with access to a secure garden, and woodland walks only a couple of minutes from my house. I'm available all days, evenings and weekends with notice. I have a pet cat who is friendly with dogs, however she has her own secure room in the house where she can retreat to if she needs to. I have a fenced garden and a dog-friendly cat, however she can be secured away in a different part of the house if necessary. I have a crate that can be used if necessary. I drive and I am located within easy reach of several 24 hour veterinary practices.

About: As a former nurse, I am confident administering medication if needed and any additional needs, making sure every dog has my full attention. I am retired with no dependents, this allows me flexibility to suit any requirements A dog will easily fit into my daily routine with regular walks, playtime and cuddles no matter what the weather, I do like to keep fit with walking and swimming. From September I will be available on a daily basis I live in a first floor flat that is secure and pet friendly I ensure a set routine for toileting with safety in mind at all times. “Dillon was on only his second ever sleepover, his first since the pandemic and his first with Ros and Charles. At only 2 yrs old he was understandably anxious but very excited. Ros & Charles were very understanding and accommodating, helping Dillon overcome his separation anxiety and settle in. They clearly enjoyed having Dillon stay and despite the inclement weather he enjoyed a couple of walks in the beautiful srroundings. The change of surroundings did upset his meal routine and he didn't eat a lot, but he was quickly back to normal when he returned home, and I'm sure that on a longer stay this would not be a problem. Dillon is returning for a full weeks holiday in March and we feel very reassured that he will be in safe and very welcoming hands.”

About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. I’ve moved over from Jersey and miss having doggy company! Love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.
About: I grew up with Dobermans and at one point we had three in the house. I love dogs and regularly look after my friends pets both sitting and walking. Had experience of dog training, both small and bigs breads, from a border terrier to a German shepherd. Happy to go on adventurous walks, or a walk round the block and open my home up for sitting too. I work full time but have every other Friday off and can work flexibly from home for 2 days a week. I am more available at weekends however can adjust my work from home days to sit around the weekend for longer sitting opportunities. Dog walking can be before work, after work or during a lunch time on a WFH day and weekends any time. I have no pets of my own just yet. I have a garden at my home, 3 bed house with plenty of space and space downstairs for dog beds, crates or whatever is required. I am super respectful and will always follow the dog owners wishes for caring for their dog.

She allowed me to view her home so I could see where Maisie would be staying and Maisie fell in love with the garden and their wonderful dog. Throughout the booking I have received lots of updates with messages, photos and videos. I have never left Maisie before in a kennel or a strangers home so this was something I was nervous about. However, I felt at ease straight away seeing how comfortable and happy she looked. Seems like Maisie has found a second home! Cannot thank you enough!”
