He's an anxious border collie, but they took all his "foibles" into their plans, and made sure he was always happy. We had regular updates & some lovely photos. He got 10/10 on his end of stay report - lots of positive feedback! Ros & Charles have a wonderfully safe enclosed garden, and live on a nice quiet road, so it was perfect for Jack. About: I grew up with flat coated retrievers and took responsibility for a lot of their walking, feeding and grooming, so I have a lot of experience with medium/large dogs with lots of energy. I currently have two fur babies of my own, a wonderful pair of (almost too) friendly flat coated retrievers who keep me on my toes. I'm used to managing their cheeky personalities, exercise requirements and need for love and cuddles. I have a little informal experience dog sitting having looked after other peoples dogs in my house a couple of times in the past. I predominantly work from home but with occasional work travel so I entirely understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable leaving your beloved dogs with someone else. I work largely from home and have two dogs of my own. Mine get fed three times a day. We typically go out 3 times a day (morning and evening sniffy lead walks) and a lunchtime or straight after work off lead romp in the nearby fields and woodland. I can accommodate boarding when I'm not required to travel for work myself (see availability. Other commitments permitting I can offer weekend day care. I have two of my own very friendly dogs so your pet will have company even when I'm busy at my desk. I have a securely fenced garden with easy access to a communal field directly to the rear of my house for short romps. There are also a lot of walks around me for off-lead (if appropriate) exploring which great sniffs and space to run off their energy. I have space to accommodate a crate if you prefer your dog to be crated. I can also arrange for your dog to be separated from my own overnight or they can enjoy the sleep over with company.

About: I have a beautiful Labrador called Rex and my whole family have dogs! Love getting out on walks and would treat any dog as part of the family. I currently own a gorgeous black Labrador called Rex I’m free most weekends for drop in visits or evening visits, perfect if your out for the day! I can do multiple check ins or walks when your out My lab is sometimes lead reactive when meeting new dogs so I am very limited to caring for dogs when I have Rex, unless we arrange to meet and the dogs got used to each other over time I do work full time Monday-Friday, so can discuss daily arrangements to suit you. I have a fenced yard and fenced garden to keep dogs safe. I live local to a park for some lovely walks. Happy for them to be a part of the family when staying with me and can sleep where ever they’re comfortable!

When I leave my pets in the hands of someone else, I expect them to receive a home-from-home experience. I therefore will do the same for any pets that I care for! I will also tailor the needs for each pet according to their owners wishes. For example, I allow my pets on the furniture but if you would prefer for your pet to not be on the furniture we can amend our lifestyle to suit that! I have always been around animals growing up, I looked after my two family dogs, horses, a cat, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters! My husband is also well versed with animals, having grown up with a dog and a cat! 🐈⬛ I am a student midwife and so I am not working right now which means I have all the time to spend with four-legged friends 🐾 My husband works from home, so we are both on hand for separate walk routines if needed. Our dogs require a lot of exercise, we aim to walk at least 3 times a day but we can make adjustments accordingly for dogs with various fitness requirements! I have an unfenced garden but can but can put up temporary fencing. For toilet breaks I tend to put my dogs on leads to take them out anyways which helps their lead training. The house is fully safety proofed with no hazards. There is always someone home so your pet will never be left on their own.

“We left our 16 month old Cavachon, Baguette with Ros and Charles for a night. It was her first night away from us and so we did wonder about how she would get on. Ros and Charles were just wonderful and took amazing care of Baguette. They took note of every detail, doted on her from the time they met her and she felt immediately at ease. So did we :) I cant recommend them enough. I wish they lived closer to us as I would have loved leaving Baguette with them over and over again. Thank you Ros and Charles!”
About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. I’ve moved over from Jersey and miss having doggy company! Love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.

We had all those dogs from pups, so know how to look after young dogs as well as old dogs, our labs lived to be 15! I’m currently working from home, as is my husband. I love it as it means I get to spend more time with Daisy! But I’m home every day, and my husband is home 3 days a week :) We have a large garden which runs around the house, it is completely fenced off and safe. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, since I was just about able to walk actually. My family, both immediate and extended, has always kept dogs and I've always made it my mission to have a good rapport with them. I have a totally enclosed garden and live very close to Cramlington Nature Reserve and a multitude of other walking paths. They will be entirely free to roam the house as they please, sit on the sofas or lounge in the garden (weather permitting, of course). They will be treated as my own when in my care. Plenty of enrichment games, be it a snuffle mat, folded up kitchen roll tubes to shred etc.
About: I grew up on a farm in the north of Ukraine, and as far back as I can remember, I was surrounded by animals, cats, dogs, turkeys, geese, chickens, cows, horses. My dad taught me how to understand the nature, behavior and needs of animals, how to give them first aid. I came to England after the war started and was pleasantly surprised by how much the British love dogs. Years ago, my parents adopted a dog from a shelter and we went through dog training as a family. I also have a cat named Marquis, a Maikun breed, whom I adopted in 2017. About: Me and my husband currently have two female dogs - a Labragotto and a Dalmatian They both love to play with other dogs and are very friendly with everyone. When I leave my pets in the hands of someone else, I expect them to receive a home-from-home experience. I therefore will do the same for any pets that I care for! I will also tailor the needs for each pet according to their owners wishes. For example, I allow my pets on the furniture but if you would prefer for your pet to not be on the furniture we can amend our lifestyle to suit that! I have always been around animals growing up, I looked after my two family dogs, horses, a cat, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters! About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. I’ve moved over from Jersey and miss having doggy company! Love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.

About: I grew up with flat coated retrievers and took responsibility for a lot of their walking, feeding and grooming, so I have a lot of experience with medium/large dogs with lots of energy. I currently have two fur babies of my own, a wonderful pair of (almost too) friendly flat coated retrievers who keep me on my toes. I'm used to managing their cheeky personalities, exercise requirements and need for love and cuddles. I have a little informal experience dog sitting having looked after other peoples dogs in my house a couple of times in the past. I predominantly work from home but with occasional work travel so I entirely understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable leaving your beloved dogs with someone else. I work largely from home and have two dogs of my own. Mine get fed three times a day. We typically go out 3 times a day (morning and evening sniffy lead walks) and a lunchtime or straight after work off lead romp in the nearby fields and woodland. I can accommodate boarding when I'm not required to travel for work myself (see availability. Other commitments permitting I can offer weekend day care. I have two of my own very friendly dogs so your pet will have company even when I'm busy at my desk. I have a securely fenced garden with easy access to a communal field directly to the rear of my house for short romps. There are also a lot of walks around me for off-lead (if appropriate) exploring which great sniffs and space to run off their energy. I have space to accommodate a crate if you prefer your dog to be crated. I can also arrange for your dog to be separated from my own overnight or they can enjoy the sleep over with company.

I work from home so am always in and like to walk different places. We treat our dog like a member of the family, so there is nowhere off limits in our home, including furniture. I only board on the days I am off or work from home. I like to work morning and afternoon minimum and lunch time heat dependant. Come rain or shine. I have my own dog so ask that yours will be on with this and follow the same routine I have a fenced rear garden and will treat your dog like my own. They will sleep upstairs with us and have the run of the house. If we go out, it is no longer than two hours.
About: I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats, having grown up with and previously owned both\. I am also a current owner of a self\-trained Cocker Spaniel, so I understand the time, patience and consistency that goes into training and caring for a dog\. Our pets have always been well trained, loved and treated as part of the family\. I’m confident caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs, and I’m always happy to follow your usual routine to make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy and well looked after. My schedule is flexible: my boyfriend works in football and is home on Thursdays, and I am usually available on weekends, allowing us to offer both weekday and weekend care. When pet sitting, we a will not be working and can fully dedicate our time, attention, walks, and care to your dog. We have a fully fenced garden and dogs will be welcome throughout the home. We live within walking distance of plenty of lovely trails and walks, perfect for keeping dogs active and entertained. Our friendly Cocker Spaniel is great with other dogs and would love having a new furry friend to keep him company!
About: I have had cats and dogs since a very early age. I love caring for them and letting them have fun. Very reliable person and our home is right next to great woods and river walks. We have a cat and Labrador I currently only work a few weeks per year on site and the rest a few hours per day at home so have a lot of spare time. We have a very secure nice sized back garden and a big kitchen where our dog sleeps. The pets are allowed anywhere in the house and we love regular walks.
