“Mary and her family were absolutely great with Kylo. Nothing was a problem. Kept me updated on how he was doing and sent me some great pictures. Really put my mind at rest. They said they would have him back anytime which is a bonus. I will definitely be using Mary's services again. Thank you. Xx”

“If I could give more stars I would. Julie has looked after our 6 month old boy for the weekend and I couldn’t have asked to find anyone better. She has taken him out for plenty of walks and socialising, she’s played with him, cuddled him and looked after him as if he were his own. Julie kept me updated throughout with lots of photos. Maverick had the best weekend, and if you need a sitter please look no further than Julie, your dog will have the best time!”

“Kirsty looked after Honey for two nights, Honey settled in straight away and was very comfortable. Kirsty made her feel at home and had lots of toys for Honey to play with. She also made sure Honey had plenty of outdoor time with walks in the woods and the beach and provided us with lots of updates. Would definitely recommend Kirsty, she is an excellent dog boarder and we will be booking again!”

“Great sitter. Looked after our dog during this week when there was a heat wave and made sure he was well cared for, kept cool but still taken on walks at the cooler parts of the day. Lots of pictures and updates to show that he was happy and cared for. Would definitely recommend. And would rebook for ourselves.”

“Gemma was brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. Teddy settled no problem, and Gemma sent me photos and messages. Gemma took Teddy to Jesmond Dene, so home from home, Teddy getting spoilt as usual! Have no quibbles in booking Gemma again”

About: I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats, having grown up with and previously owned both\. I am also a current owner of a self\-trained Cocker Spaniel, so I understand the time, patience and consistency that goes into training and caring for a dog\. Our pets have always been well trained, loved and treated as part of the family\. I’m confident caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs, and I’m always happy to follow your usual routine to make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy and well looked after. My schedule is flexible: my boyfriend works in football and is home on Thursdays, and I am usually available on weekends, allowing us to offer both weekday and weekend care. When pet sitting, we a will not be working and can fully dedicate our time, attention, walks, and care to your dog. We have a fully fenced garden and dogs will be welcome throughout the home. We live within walking distance of plenty of lovely trails and walks, perfect for keeping dogs active and entertained. Our friendly Cocker Spaniel is great with other dogs and would love having a new furry friend to keep him company!

About: We have both grown up with dogs and have spent years helping care for our family pets. From daily walks and feeding to playtime and lots of affection, caring for dogs has always been part of our lives. Since moving away from home to Northumberland, we really miss having dogs around. We know every dog has their own personality and routine and we're happy to adapt to their individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, energetic play or simply relaxing with company, we will make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. We're reliable and committed to treating every dog as if they were our own. We know how important it is to trust the people looking after your pet, and we'll always provide plenty of photos and communication so you can have peace of mind while your pup is with us! I, Megan, work from home most days, so I have plenty of flexibility. I’m available to walk dogs in the evenings, mornings, and offer boarding on weekends. Jake works weekdays but is home and available on weekends too. Our weekends are usually cosy and relaxed, enjoying nature walks and spending quality time outdoors. We’d love to have your dog join us! We have a secure, fully fenced back garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. We’re happy to be flexible and adapt to each dog’s individual needs, routines and personality. We’ll follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines as closely as possible, and make sure they feel comfortable, safe and cared for while staying with us.

“What a wonderful time my dog Buzz had with Yvonne and David. He was treated as one of the family with endless cuddles and treats. I received lots of photos and updates throughout his stay, which kept me at ease. Will definitely be booking them again. My Buzz didn't want to come home, he had such a lovely time!”

About: I have always had a love of dogs and currently have a three year old English bulldog. He loves having pals around and we are looking to take on boarding and treat your dog like our own. I work from home so am always in and like to walk different places. We treat our dog like a member of the family, so there is nowhere off limits in our home, including furniture. I only board on the days I am off or work from home. I like to work morning and afternoon minimum and lunch time heat dependant. Come rain or shine. I have my own dog so ask that yours will be on with this and follow the same routine I have a fenced rear garden and will treat your dog like my own. They will sleep upstairs with us and have the run of the house. If we go out, it is no longer than two hours.
“We were really happy to leave our Irish Terrier with Ros and Charles and will happily do so again. Their knowledge and understanding of dogs shines through and they were very happy to discuss Pogues needs/quirks with us in detail. Pogue came home very happy and relaxed. Playing chase with Ros and relaxing with Charles clearly suited him!”

“If there were 10 stars Julie would get them all! She was so thorough and wanted to know all our dog's needs and requirements, which very much put our minds at ease. After a really generous meet and greet we felt very confident in leaving Thea with her, and we were right. Our dog can be anxious and high needs and Julie worked gently and sensitively with these and gave her such care and love. Would recommend her in a heart beat and will be booking her again. Thank you Julie, from us and Thea.”

“Erin and Alex were fantastic! Could not rate them highly enough. Sent me so many lovely photos, videos and messaging updates throughout Floyd's stay whilst we were on holiday. I felt like they did a brilliant job looking after Floyd and he seemed to have the best time! Will definitely be looking to book them in the future 😊”

“Ozzy had a superb time with Rachel. Superb communication from booking and regular updates and pics during his stay. No hesitation in using again and recommending to others.”

“Anna and Jorge took great care of Floyd. They sent an update daily and posted little videos which was very reassuring. And Floyd must have been very contented with them as I dont think he wanted to come home when I went to pick him up!”

“Our Clive was sad to leave! He had the best time and I felt really at ease meeting beforehand for our first rover experience. Clive needs a lot of training and hands on as he’s currently in adolescence and can be very mischievous but Jessica was brilliant with him. Regular updates were really helpful to keep my mind at ease during the stay. Thank you both so much ♥️”

“William looked after Tally, for the last two nights in preparation for a longer stay later this year. Since Tally has never boarded before, we were naturally a bit anxious, but William completely put us both at ease. From the start, he really took the time to get to know Tally and asked all the right questions about her routine and preferences. Tally settled in incredibly quickly with him. She absolutely loved her walks and all the snuggles she received. We are so relieved to have found such a caring, attentive sitter and feel completely confident leaving Tally with him for her upcoming longer stay. Thank you, William!”

“Yuen was absolutely amazing in taking care of Eddie and always sending lots of photos of him. I would strongly recommend her services if you’re looking to leave your dog with someone.”

“Sophie was incredibly patient and flexible over the booking process (which was complicated due to some cat health issues that affected the booking times), and responded promptly and patiently to all my messages and my last-minute flailing around! Has been thoughtful, great with problem solving, communicative throughout, and took great care in staying with them during the sessions to ensure they’d had everything they needed, especially as one has been incredibly poorly lately. Has earned the trust of my two very finicky and anxious cats. Thank you Sophie!”

“Wow! Biscuits first Doggy Day Care went perfectly. She had plenty of play, 2 lovely walks and even a couple of naps which confirmed to us that she was at ease. She was full of beans when we picked her up. We highly recommend Gemma as a dog sitter, caring, friendly and professional. We shall certainly be trusting her to look after Biscuit again and again.”

About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. I’ve moved over from Jersey and miss having doggy company! Love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.

I do positive‑reinforcement training only, plenty of enrichment/nature walks, can give basic medication, and am happy with all ages and temperaments! I’m currently fully available - I’m studying my Training online, so I can work around your schedule, whether it’s last minute or booked weeks in advance 😊 I do drop‑in visits, walks of any length (even nature trails!), and home boarding. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, since I was just about able to walk actually. My family, both immediate and extended, has always kept dogs and I've always made it my mission to have a good rapport with them. I'm passionate about their care and making sure they're well looked after. I have a fully enclosed garden and live 5 minutes away from Cramlington nature reserve and some wide open fields below the hospital. We're big fans of enrichment games and general playing if your dog likes it. I do understand however, that every dog is unique and some may just want to chill out on their own. Please let me know as much information as you can give about your pet and their unique personality, likes, dislikes etc. I have experience with anxious dogs and trigger issues, as my own Springer, Bailey, is an anxious lad and has various triggers when outside in the world, so I've learned a lot firsthand with him. He is a great house dog, just the world is very overwhelming for him at times. I'm currently between jobs, so I am totally free to take care of and devote all my attention to your best friend as long as they are in my care. I have a totally enclosed garden and live very close to Cramlington Nature Reserve and a multitude of other walking paths. They will be entirely free to roam the house as they please, sit on the sofas or lounge in the garden (weather permitting, of course). They will be treated as my own when in my care. Plenty of enrichment games, be it a snuffle mat, folded up kitchen roll tubes to shred etc.
About: Your dog will get 1-on-1 VIP treatment with me – no other dogs, just pure attention and cuddles! 🐾 I’ve looked after dogs since I was 6. I volunteer at The Dog and Cat Shelter and cared for my gorgeous border terrier Toby who lived until he was 17 years old. I work from home with flexible hours so I’m available at any time of the day. I’m free weekends, school holidays and bank holidays/Christmas time. Your dog/dogs will get 1-1 committed care with no other pets in my home or other dogs boarding with me. Although we live in a flat we have green areas right outside to take your dog out for the toilet. We also have beautiful walks nearby and I drive so can also take them to their favourite spot. With working from homeI’m in the flat 24/7 so your dog won’t be left at all and we have very little clutter for your dog won’t be able to chew on or eat anything! When caring for pets, we prioritise their safety by ensuring the environment is secure and pet-proofed. I will always offer to meet you and your dog/dogs in advance to get to know you both. I’ll follow your instructions closely, creating a routine that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Building trust through regular communication with yourself and ensuring they feel loved and cared for is essential to me.
“We left our 16 month old Cavachon, Baguette with Ros and Charles for a night. It was her first night away from us and so we did wonder about how she would get on. Ros and Charles were just wonderful and took amazing care of Baguette. They took note of every detail, doted on her from the time they met her and she felt immediately at ease. So did we :) I cant recommend them enough. I wish they lived closer to us as I would have loved leaving Baguette with them over and over again. Thank you Ros and Charles!”

“Milo had a fantastic day with Alex and his dog Kaia, we received plenty of updates, videos and photos throughout the day which kept us at ease knowing he was settling in well! Alex was extremely responsive and clearly communicated throughout the booking process and whilst Milo was at his house, giving us an early update to reassure us he was all good! He obviously had a great time as he’s been fast asleep since we got home didn’t want to leave when picking him up. Thanks so much Alex, Milo will be visiting again for sure!”

“Andrew is an amazing dog sitter kept us updated on how my dog was doing and made sure he was settled in well.It was a god send knowing that my dog was in good hands and being taken care off .Would highly recommend if you have a medium to large dog.If I could give 6 stars I would”

“Joanna was just perfect: our little chap was a bit off form the day we had to leave him but Joanna was very patient, friendly and professional and we were able to enjoy our day in town worry free and with confidence! See you next time and thank you!”

“Jessica and Sam were lovely with my nervous rescue Taco and she warmed to them very quickly. We did a day of daycare to help her get comfortable with Jessica and Sam in their home before the overnight boarding we have booked next month. It went really well - they stuck closely to the management we do when out on a walk to keep her reactivity in check which was great. Jessica provided very responsive communication and was super easy to deal with. I'm feeling confident that Taco will be very well cared for when she boards for a weekend next month.”

“William was amazing with Betty – calm, patient and clearly fantastic with dogs. Betty took to him straight away and was very happy and relaxed in his care. Communication was clear and reassuring, and we felt completely confident leaving her with him. We would 100% recommend William and will definitely book again when we return to Northumberland.”

Since then, I have gone to university, have achieved a 1st in my Bsc (hons) Degree in Canine and Feline behaviour and welfare, immediately progressed to teaching the very degree I just completed for the last 2 years and intend on spending my career helping dogs and owners to lead happy and fulfilling lives. I can train puppies and adult dogs using various techniques including: obedience, life skills, behavioural modification and scent training. Which means I can continue any ongoing training following your existing training plan. All training and husbandry is only done using positive based techniques (I do not use aversive based training). Currently I am still working as a lecturer until September. So I am only available Friday- Monday until September 4th. Should you attain my services I will be at the property full-time. So you do not need to worry about your dog being left alone. The only time your pets will be alone is if I need to go to the shop to buy food. Good relationships with a dog and parents are based on high levels of kindness and understanding. Any pet in my care will always be treated like family, where there are no limits to what you would do to give them their best life. In addition, any "house rules" or requirements will be strictly followed including pet care/lifestyle and living arrangements.

I currently have a small shihpoo called Isla, she’s super friendly and loves having friends to join us on our adventures. I also provide lots of updates and photos of there adventures with me and will tailer care to best suit there needs. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. I’m a retired active lady who is happy to provide love, care and attention to your family pets. I have the time to give them the attention they need and deserve. “Very happy with my pups walks this week. Louise agreed to pick up these walks last minute as we had a cancellation with our other walker - this has really helped us out and we appreciated the walks she did with our dog. She took him on different walks each day and even gave him a bag of treats at the end. Thanks so much!”

About: I’m looking at starting my own dog walking/ pet sitting business, I’d like this to be my full time job! What I Offer: • hour long dog walks and outdoor adventures • Pick-up and drop-off included • Quiet routes available for reactive or nervous dogs • Full day dog walks, like a day care but out and about for the day since I live in a rental but want to offer this service! So I’ll come collect your pet! And take them out for the day and drop them off at a time that’s suitable for you! (Please let me know if they need a solo walk! Or if they can be in a group! ) • Cat care and drop ins, along with litter cleaning available upon request Whether your dog needs exercise, your cat needs a clean space, or your pet just needs someone who gets it, I’m here to help. Let’s give your pets the care and fun they deserve while giving you peace of mind. 💛 Little bit about me! Hi! I’m Jess, Im 22 years old and have been surrounded by animals my entire life from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, tortoises, bearded dragons, rabbits, and even chickens. Caring for a wide variety of pets has taught me how to handle them with patience, understanding, and love. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter trays, or creating a safe and comfortable environment, I’m happy to help. Right now, I have a rescue dog who has been very nervous and sensitive to noises so I truly understand how to work with anxious or reactive dogs. She’s come such a long way, and I’ve helped her grow more confident and calm with consistent care, training, and daily exercise. I’ve also had high-energy breeds (like german shepherds and border collies!) and know how to tailor walks and routines to fit each dog’s needs. Currently my availability is wide open! So I’d happily walk your dog or look after your pet early in the morning or later on at night! Drop in visits are also perfect for me! So I’d happily pop along and spend some time with your little one! Twice if needed! I can pick up and drop off no problem at all! If you’d be out all day I can do doggy day care for £25 however I’d be taking them out for a day trip like rothbury or forrest walks stuff like that, just because my house is a bit small and I rent but I’d like to offer this service since I have a car please get in touch tho if your interested in the doggy day care! I’d supply dog towels if it was raining or go somewhere quite sheltered also if you’d prefer me not to walk in muddy areas I can also do that! Cause I understand how bringing a muddy dog back would be a pain! When pets are in my home I try to make them as comfortable as possible! They are allowed to sit on my sofa no problem and with blankets too! With my own pets I have a set routine so they know when they are going to be fed and when going to bed since I like a routine myself! My rescues border collie likes to have her own bed so she has a cage she sleeps in at night to make her feel safe! So if your pet does to that is completely fine!

About: I’m a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, sizes and temperaments. I have done a range of volunteering/placement at different shelters and organisations. I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as older pets who may need extra patience and attention. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand animal behaviour, health and safety, and husbandry. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative and genuinely love spending time with animals. I am in my summer holidays of uni with few other commitments so have plenty of time to look after and play with your pets! I enjoy keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with games, enrichment activities and exploring local parks and new walking routes. I always adapt to each dog’s energy levels and routine so they feel comfortable and happy.
About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them. For me, aside from doing an extra money to support my period of study here, it will be a genuine pleasure to spend time with your pets and give them all the love I keep with me for my cats, and I will make sure to take care of your pets with the same attention I would like mine to be cared, ensuring they will be safe, respected and catered to all needs. As I have flexible times at university my schedule is always free. I am available all day every day of week so we can previously arrange the activities you need to be provided (including home visits, house sitting, walk in neighbourhood, take or pick from home to somewhere, or others). But as each pet has their own personality, before I can look after your pets I will need to know as much as possible about them, like routine, diet, any allergies, medicines, behaviour alone and with other animals, in and out of home, activities that they enjoy etc. If you feel that I can help you caring your pet please send me a message so we can chat about how I can help.

“Cannot thank Kat and her husband enough for looking after my boy. I was sent pics and vids throughout his stay for the night, and by the looks of it, all 3 of them had the best time, it made me jealous! 😂 Kat and her husband are some of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with for dog boarding and will 10000% be using them in the future. Thank you again!! ☺️”

“We booked Finn in with Larissa as a last minute emergency booking, as have been extremely satisfied! Our dog bounced into their lives! Finn has been extremely well looked after and we will come back again!”

“Andrew and family was the perfect place for Ella! She got her favourite combination of playtime, running around the garden, treats and lots of cuddles. Andrew shared regular pictures and updates. He was also super kind to both pick up and drop off Ella, to make it as easy as possible for me. Will definitely book Ella with them again. Lovely family :-)”

“Lauren is so lovely. Loca was relaxed with her from the start which was so reassuring for us. Nothing was a bother and Loca was shattered when she got home, which for her is a sign of lots of fun during her stay! Thank you Lauren, Loca’s next weekend with you is already in the diary 🥰”
