“The most responsible and understanding friend that Toby has stayed with. We loved the regular updates and photos. Toby made himself right at home and Kirsty knew exactly how to care for our 10 year old Toby. We felt comfortable and relaxed knowing that Toby was in great hands. Now he’s sad he’s back at home and not at Kirsty’s house with all his newly found Toys!. Many’s Thanks! Phil, Izzy & Toby”

About: As proud owners of our own wire-haired dachshund Gus, we know just how much our dogs mean to us. We offer plenty of love, attention, walks and cuddles in a safe and caring home. Every dog is treated like part of our family, and we will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax whilst you’re away. Both myself and my wife are able to work from home during the week on regular basis, as pet care is a priority with our own dog. Therefore, if caring for your dog we would ensure someone would be able to care for them every day. I have a fenced garden with plenty space for your dog to run around and play with our own dog. If necessary or preferred our own dog was crate trained and slept in a crate until very recently. Any visits to check on dogs will be done at times best suited to individual dogs and walks/play time will always be p provided. We have done this regularly for dogs in our own families.
“Zoe is fantastic, very kind and patient and helped us out at short notice. Ozzy loved her from the moment he met her and Zoe put our minds at rest that Oz was being well looked after while we were away dealing with a family emergency. I can't thank Zoe enough!”

“Murphy had a fabulous home from home experience this week. Judith has a lovely friendly personality that put us at ease instantly. We highly recommend her to everyone. We are already booked in for another week later in the year. 5 stars from us. Paul & Karen”

“Great sitter. Looked after our dog during this week when there was a heat wave and made sure he was well cared for, kept cool but still taken on walks at the cooler parts of the day. Lots of pictures and updates to show that he was happy and cared for. Would definitely recommend. And would rebook for ourselves.”

“Picked up our little Biscuit today after her 2 night stay with the wonderful Gemma. Once again, full of beans when she greeted us. It is obvious to us she is so happy in your care Gemma. Thank you once again. See you soon 🐾”

“Anna took care of Koko for a week, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. She kept us up to date throughout, sending daily videos and pictures that really put our minds at ease. It was clear Koko was well looked after and happy in her care. We would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“What a wonderful time my dog Buzz had with Yvonne and David. He was treated as one of the family with endless cuddles and treats. I received lots of photos and updates throughout his stay, which kept me at ease. Will definitely be booking them again. My Buzz didn't want to come home, he had such a lovely time!”

“Dillon was on only his second ever sleepover, his first since the pandemic and his first with Ros and Charles. At only 2 yrs old he was understandably anxious but very excited. Ros & Charles were very understanding and accommodating, helping Dillon overcome his separation anxiety and settle in. They clearly enjoyed having Dillon stay and despite the inclement weather he enjoyed a couple of walks in the beautiful srroundings. The change of surroundings did upset his meal routine and he didn't eat a lot, but he was quickly back to normal when he returned home, and I'm sure that on a longer stay this would not be a problem. Dillon is returning for a full weeks holiday in March and we feel very reassured that he will be in safe and very welcoming hands.”

“Rachel took great care of Stevie and also helped me out last minute which I was really grateful for. She is fab with dogs and Stevie is really happy and relaxed with her. Thanks Rachel!”

“If there were 10 stars Julie would get them all! She was so thorough and wanted to know all our dog's needs and requirements, which very much put our minds at ease. After a really generous meet and greet we felt very confident in leaving Thea with her, and we were right. Our dog can be anxious and high needs and Julie worked gently and sensitively with these and gave her such care and love. Would recommend her in a heart beat and will be booking her again. Thank you Julie, from us and Thea.”

“Andrew was very attentive and gave us plenty of updates whilst he was looking after our dog. He asked us many questions and took notes of the answers regarding our dogs schedule for walking, food etc. which filled us with confidence. I would definitely recommend Andrew and would certainly be willing to use his services again.”

“Erin and Alex were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It was our first time using a dog sitter but after meeting Erin at her home I knew Ozzy was going to be well looked after. She kept in touch daily about where they had been and took loads of photos! I think Ozzy was living his best life at their house. Thank you so much!”

“William looked after Tally, for the last two nights in preparation for a longer stay later this year. Since Tally has never boarded before, we were naturally a bit anxious, but William completely put us both at ease. From the start, he really took the time to get to know Tally and asked all the right questions about her routine and preferences. Tally settled in incredibly quickly with him. She absolutely loved her walks and all the snuggles she received. We are so relieved to have found such a caring, attentive sitter and feel completely confident leaving Tally with him for her upcoming longer stay. Thank you, William!”

“Thank you Larissa for looking after my Bertie at such short notice! He’s a high maintenance little guy but he looks like he has had a marvellous time with you and Dash. I wouldn’t hesitate to use you again in the future, thank you so much ❤️”

“Jess and Sam were great with my 5 month old puppy Maeve! Flexible and communicative and Maeve seemed to have a great stay with them. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a dog sit from a reliable pair!”

“Sophie was incredibly patient and flexible over the booking process (which was complicated due to some cat health issues that affected the booking times), and responded promptly and patiently to all my messages and my last-minute flailing around! Has been thoughtful, great with problem solving, communicative throughout, and took great care in staying with them during the sessions to ensure they’d had everything they needed, especially as one has been incredibly poorly lately. Has earned the trust of my two very finicky and anxious cats. Thank you Sophie!”

About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Malamutes, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. I’ve moved over from Jersey and miss having doggy company! Love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.

“Kelly was fantastic. I was on holiday so just needed a day without Teddy whilst I visited a couple of tourist attractions. Excellent communication and gave me some great ideas. Most of all Teddy was well cared for. He clearly had fun as he is sleeping. Thanks Kelly”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, since I was just about able to walk actually. My family, both immediate and extended, has always kept dogs and I've always made it my mission to have a good rapport with them. I'm passionate about their care and making sure they're well looked after. I have a fully enclosed garden and live 5 minutes away from Cramlington nature reserve and some wide open fields below the hospital. We're big fans of enrichment games and general playing if your dog likes it. I do understand however, that every dog is unique and some may just want to chill out on their own. Please let me know as much information as you can give about your pet and their unique personality, likes, dislikes etc. I have experience with anxious dogs and trigger issues, as my own Springer, Bailey, is an anxious lad and has various triggers when outside in the world, so I've learned a lot firsthand with him. He is a great house dog, just the world is very overwhelming for him at times. I'm currently between jobs, so I am totally free to take care of and devote all my attention to your best friend as long as they are in my care. I have a totally enclosed garden and live very close to Cramlington Nature Reserve and a multitude of other walking paths. They will be entirely free to roam the house as they please, sit on the sofas or lounge in the garden (weather permitting, of course). They will be treated as my own when in my care. Plenty of enrichment games, be it a snuffle mat, folded up kitchen roll tubes to shred etc.
“Milo had a fantastic day with Alex and his dog Kaia, we received plenty of updates, videos and photos throughout the day which kept us at ease knowing he was settling in well! Alex was extremely responsive and clearly communicated throughout the booking process and whilst Milo was at his house, giving us an early update to reassure us he was all good! He obviously had a great time as he’s been fast asleep since we got home didn’t want to leave when picking him up. Thanks so much Alex, Milo will be visiting again for sure!”

We understand all dogs have different personalities and preferences and can work with these. Les works from home so one of us is at home most of the time. I currently have a very dog friendly cat if you are looking for some socialisation, but she is equally happy doing her own thing if you would prefer they remain separate. I work from home with access to a secure garden, and woodland walks only a couple of minutes from my house. I'm available all days, evenings and weekends with notice. I have a pet cat who is friendly with dogs, however she has her own secure room in the house where she can retreat to if she needs to. I have a fenced garden and a dog-friendly cat, however she can be secured away in a different part of the house if necessary. I have a crate that can be used if necessary. I drive and I am located within easy reach of several 24 hour veterinary practices.
“Very happy with my pups walks this week. Louise agreed to pick up these walks last minute as we had a cancellation with our other walker - this has really helped us out and we appreciated the walks she did with our dog. She took him on different walks each day and even gave him a bag of treats at the end. Thanks so much!”

About: I have been surrounded by and caring for animals my entire life. From a young age, I have had the pleasure of living with and looking after a diverse range of pets, including dogs, cats, horses, and parrots, to name just a few. This lifelong experience has provided me with a deep understanding of the unique needs and personalities of various animal companions. Currently based on the Fish Quay, I share my home with my own beloved snow bengal cat, Dolly. This personal experience as a pet owner further reinforces my commitment to providing compassionate, responsible, and attentive care to all animals. I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being and comfort of your pets while you are away. I am available at anytime and usually on the day for your pet sitting needs. Reach out to me and I can try my best to fit into your routine. About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them. For me, aside from doing an extra money to support my period of study here, it will be a genuine pleasure to spend time with your pets and give them all the love I keep with me for my cats, and I will make sure to take care of your pets with the same attention I would like mine to be cared, ensuring they will be safe, respected and catered to all needs. As I have flexible times at university my schedule is always free. I am available all day every day of week so we can previously arrange the activities you need to be provided (including home visits, house sitting, walk in neighbourhood, take or pick from home to somewhere, or others). But as each pet has their own personality, before I can look after your pets I will need to know as much as possible about them, like routine, diet, any allergies, medicines, behaviour alone and with other animals, in and out of home, activities that they enjoy etc. If you feel that I can help you caring your pet please send me a message so we can chat about how I can help.

“Lauren was absolutely amazing with Wilf, it is the first time we have left him with him only being 4 months old but he could not of been in better hands. She sent us regular updates and he had an absolute blast. Lauren is just the loveliest person and we have already booked her again for when we go on holiday, I can not recommend her enough ❤️”

“Andrew and family was the perfect place for Ella! She got her favourite combination of playtime, running around the garden, treats and lots of cuddles. Andrew shared regular pictures and updates. He was also super kind to both pick up and drop off Ella, to make it as easy as possible for me. Will definitely book Ella with them again. Lovely family :-)”

About: I grew up with Dobermans and at one point we had three in the house. I love dogs and regularly look after my friends pets both sitting and walking. Had experience of dog training, both small and bigs breads, from a border terrier to a German shepherd. Happy to go on adventurous walks, or a walk round the block and open my home up for sitting too. I work full time but have every other Friday off and can work flexibly from home for 2 days a week. I am more available at weekends however can adjust my work from home days to sit around the weekend for longer sitting opportunities. Dog walking can be before work, after work or during a lunch time on a WFH day and weekends any time. I have no pets of my own just yet. I have a garden at my home, 3 bed house with plenty of space and space downstairs for dog beds, crates or whatever is required. I am super respectful and will always follow the dog owners wishes for caring for their dog.
“Barnie had an amazing stay!! Daily updates and pictures were really appreciated and he was clearly settled and was very well cared for. Will use and again and would definitely recommend 👌”

“Caitlin and Max were brilliant with Ralph. We had an initial meet up where they invited us round to see their house and garden. We could tell straight away Ralph was going to be in a safe pair of hands and really loved Ralph. We’ll definitely use them again 😃”

“Rebecca was absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend her enough. She was very thorough in the meet and greet and asked lots of questions about Maisie’s care. She allowed me to view her home so I could see where Maisie would be staying and Maisie fell in love with the garden and their wonderful dog. Throughout the booking I have received lots of updates with messages, photos and videos. I have never left Maisie before in a kennel or a strangers home so this was something I was nervous about. However, I felt at ease straight away seeing how comfortable and happy she looked. Seems like Maisie has found a second home! Cannot thank you enough!”
