Lucy was brilliant. She turned up when she agreed to and had a great rapport with Toby (my border terrier). She is clearly a dog person. Would recommend

About: I don’t have any pets of my own living with me. I think my love for animals started as I grew up on a farm. I had my my own Collie, Pippa (I know, classic farm dog) and 4 black and white kitties, Fluffy, Tom, Tilly and Trouble. I would always walk and look after neighbours dogs and cats as well. Had my own Doggie day care, walking them through the fields and playing with them in the gardens on the agility course I’d made them. As well as being responsible for feeding chickens, cows and lambs. When moving to Newcastle I missed this interaction with animals, having my Uncle’s dog for sleepovers while he is on work away trips. I’m experienced and happy looking after animals of all ages, happy to walk, play, pick up your pups poo & wash your pups. I work remotely so home everyday, I get an hour lunch which I always fill with a walk, I enjoy having a furry friend to keep me company as I walk through Heaton Park or Jesmond Dene. Happily walk before & after work in evening. I’m available for boarding all through the week and weekends when I’m home. I’m a bottom floor, maisonette flat so no stairs. I have an easily accessible fenced back yard the dogs can enjoy when at home. I can provide if needed: crate, water/food bowls, lead, wash and treats of course!

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, we’ve never not had one in the house! I’ve dog and cat sat for friends and family lots too. I absolutely love animals and always ensure they are happy and well looked after! I am a university student so daytimes are a little tricky for me, but I am around every Tuesday all day, every weekday after 5pm, and every other weekend! At my uni house we have a big square garden and we are a 2 minute walk, from the exhibition park, 5 min walk from leases park, as well as just across the road from the moor. There is lots of lovely routes around my house that I’m sure dogs will absolutely love. As for the house, it is very spacious, so the pets won’t be too bored when needing to be inside!

About: I have a super cute gray schnauzer who is two and a half years old and I have been taking care of him for over two years. He is my family. My class schedule is light, so my dog's care is fully integrated into the natural rhythm of my day. Mornings start with a refreshing walk together, followed by breakfast for both of us. The afternoon is reserved for our main activity—a long, exploratory walk in a nearby park where we both get exercise and fresh air. Evenings are for calm bonding; I set aside time for grooming, a thorough cleaning of his belongings, and planning any fun weekend adventures we can take together, ensuring pets are not just cared for, but truly happy and enriched. As a dedicated pet care provider, my approach is tailored to the specific environment and the pet's needs. In a client's home, my primary focus is on maintaining the pet's normal routine and minimizing disruption to their life. This includes following the owner's detailed instructions for feeding, walking, and playtime precisely, providing plenty of affection and companionship, and ensuring the home is kept tidy and secure. I send regular updates with photos and videos to give the owner peace of mind. For services offered in my own home, such as doggy daycare or boarding, I prioritize creating a safe, stimulating, and structured environment. This involves supervised play, scheduled walks in my neighborhood, adherence to each pet's dietary needs, and ensuring they have a comfortable resting area. In both settings, my core principle is to treat every pet with the same love, responsibility, and attention to routine that I would give my own, ensuring their well-being and happiness while their owner is away.

About: I have had cats, guinea pigs, dogs and fish in my family home and took on a big part in caring for them. I assisted in the training of our dog from her birth so have experience with puppies. I have looked after and walked friends' dogs and cats etc. when they have been away and eould love to do this for others. I am a university student so my availability will change week by week but I should have free weekends and a few weekdays per week. I am not able to take on pets in my own home but am more than happy to attend the pet owner's home to provide food, drink, walks, toilet trips, cuddles, company and anything your pet requires!

About: Since i was 9 i have always been brought up around dogs and for the past few years i have looked after many of my family members dogs while they have been on holidays. I also worked in a doggy day care for 2 years. Current just got my own house with my boyfriend so I will be free a lot of the time to take dogs in to look after while their owners are away. My home is a few minutes walk away from the rising sun country park! A great place for dogs to have fun and get tired out! I work from home through the week and my only day in the office is on a Monday. My work is pretty flexible so will have a lot of time to walk the dogs. I have a fenced back garden for the dogs to go out and play on as-well as a few good walk spots near by. I am willing to take the dogs out for as many walks as required.

About: I have taken in many animals from friends or family over the years: hamsters, rabbits, a cat (and then kittens), and a tortoise. At home today we have our tortoise, Denzel, who we got in 2019 and requires very specialised reptilian care. In 2022 we got our dog Ludo as puppy. I was responsible for the puppy training for Ludo, for example teaching the proper outdoor bathroom etiquette and little tricks - he is now 3 and a very well behaved boy (who my mum brings up to visit me more often than is likely usual). I’m a student at Newcastle University studying Environmental Science and whilst I’ve been away I have missed caring for animals so much, so I would love to be able to treat and look after your pets with so much care! Over time, I’ve gotten really comfortable caring for all kinds of animals with all kinds of personalities. I pay attention to how they’re feeling and can pick up on behavioural clues, stick to their usual routines, and always make sure they feel calm and cared for. I’m happy to follow any instructions you have, keep going with any training, and just be someone your pet can feel safe and relaxed with while you’re away. I have a completely free schedule as I am on my holidays from university currently and so I can provide care for any times you need! :) As I live in student accommodation I am not able to care in my home, but I am more than happy to meet and exceed any of the guidelines you will have towards how to provide the best care for your pet in their home environment, in order to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. It will be just me looking after your pet or pets, so you can trust that they will get unbridled attention and affection! I will keep things, such as their daily schedule, consistent and calm so they feel secure at ease whilst you’re away.

About: Hello! I have grown up with lots of family pets, including large breeds also. I am a huge animal lover and work from home, living with my super friendly cavapoo pup Hulk who would love a visitor to play with! I live on the quayside meaning we have a lovely walk on the doorstep and access for regular toilet trips, I also go on at least 1 countryside/beach walk with our cavapoo a day so your dog will receive plenty of excercise! I have 3 bedrooms so lots of space to suit all requirements and sleeping arrangements if your dog prefers some alone time. Hulk and I would love to host your dog, who would be sure to receive lots of cuddles, and treat like a member of the family😊 Also available for dog walks or house visits as we have a vehicle. Thanks for reading😊 I work remotely so can be fully flexible with work commitments, our cavapoo goes on 3 walks per day and extra trips outside for the toilet. I have a 3 bedroom apartment with lots of space, quayside location which is perfect for walks, as well as daily countryside and beach walks, I can also offer off lead walks to dogs trained with recall. Dogs must be friendly as I have a 7 month old cavapoo at home😊

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I love spending time with them. I’m comfortable caring for a range of dogs from energetic puppies to older dogs. I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and are completely happy and cared for! I’m a Newcastle University student from Cheshire, so I am missing my dogs at home a lot. At home I have two dogs, Phyllis and Norman. Phyllis is a 10 year old Puggle and Norman is a 4 year old Cockapoo, so I am used to the variations in needs. I have a very flexible University schedule, with lots of spare time to give your dog the care and attention that they need. I really enjoy spending time with dogs, and would love to have a break from uni and spend time with your dog! I am reliable, and love going on walks, so I can give your pup plenty of my time and attention. I live in a terraced house with a secure back yard. I live with 6 other girls, who all love dogs and would love having a dog round! I’m also able to visit your home if it is in proximity.

About: I’ve looked after dogs for most of my life, whether they’ve been my own family pets or for family and friends. At home I currently have a 1 year old working cocker which I really miss when I’m back up at uni. Having such a high energy dog means I feel like I can keep up with just about anything! I am a medical student so sometimes just having a dog to hang out with is much needed! I have put “no pets” as in my uni house I have not got pets. I am a medical student so I do tend to have quite a busy schedule but I also sometimes have half days which means I tend to get back just after midday. As I am now on my placement years I have a little less free time but I am always free in the evenings and I am completely free on weekends, all day and night. My schedule varies weekly but but it means that no days are ruled out every week! I have a valid DBS certificate. I can easily crate your pet if needed, and due to growing up with dogs and having looked after a fair few I know my way around keeping them safe and any precautions I would need to take. As I will be looking after your dog in your own home it will mean that they won’t be uprooted or in a new environment, so you won’t have to worry about them being somewhere you don’t know and they don’t know. I am very respectful so any house rules you may have I will ensure to follow E.g. if your pet isn’t allowed on the sofa I will continue to enforce that.

About: I had my own professional dog walking business in the past 'Jolly Dog Walking' I absolutely loved it, it was the best job in the world! Unfortunately my health wasn't great so like all good things, that sadly came to an end. I just focused all my time and energy on my dog instead, making sure he had the best life! Sadly he passed last year and left a hole in my heart. I think looking after other dogs and caring for them will bring back that spark I need in life and if you would like me to look after your dogs I'd be honoured to be your choice! Your dog's wellbeing is my number one priority! I'm canine first aid trained and have good knowledge about canine body language and behaviour so I can keep your pup safe! I study at university online so my schedule is always free. All day every day, rain or shine (maybe not heavy snow though) I'll be available! Before I look after your pet I will ask all the relevant questions so I know how to best care for them. I will need to know all their dietary and exercise needs, about their general health and if they take medication, about food allergies and other allergies etc, about their general personality and if they have issues with other dogs or any reactivity and more. Once I know everything there is to know about your dog I will tailor their care according to their exact needs!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a young child and have been caring for them since 2017, when I moved back to the UK. Being the proud dad of three French Bulldogs has taught me even more about the love, patience, and care that every pet truly deserves. I work from home and for myself, which means my schedule is wonderfully flexible and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and care to your beloved pet. Weekends are never an issue, as I’m usually at home and always happy to help. At present, I’ve paused my boarding and day-care services to focus entirely on dog walking and drop-in visits, where I can give each pet my full attention. 🐾 Dog Walking: • Each walk lasts around one hour • I always pick up after your furry friend and gently clean their paws or bottom if needed • I carry fresh water and a bowl to keep your dog hydrated throughout the walk 🏡 Drop-in Visits: • Each visit lasts around one hour • I tidy up any little accidents that may have happened while your dog was alone • I serve breakfast or dinner as needed and take them for a short 10-minute walk so they can stretch their legs and go to the toilet 🌷 A Few Details: I’m available Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm. If you’d like help at the weekend, I’m happy to accommodate with at least five days’ notice (there’s a small additional fee of £2 per service). I currently offer my services within and around Newcastle city centre. Every dog I look after is treated with the same love, patience, and affection I give my own. Their happiness and comfort always come first — and I’ll make sure you receive plenty of updates and photos along the way. Important! 👇🏻 If you’re travelling or working late, I can also offer an evening walk or a late drop-in visit to make sure your dog has a chance to go for a wee and poo before bedtime. Please let me know as soon as possible if you’d like this service, as my evenings are often busy with church commitments and work for my company in Brazil. There is a small additional charge of £2 for any services booked after 6pm, and my latest available time is 9pm. If you have more than one dog, I’m very flexible and open to negotiation. Dogs are such an important part of my family and daily life, so your dog will never be just another pet in my care. Every dog I look after is treated with the same warmth, love, and affection as my own.

About: My family is very animal orientated, we have owned all kinds of animals but dogs have always been my favorite. I have been relied upon to walk, wash and feed dogs of all kinds of breeds throughout my life, and take great joy in doing it. I am a second year, Newcastle University student, looking for some extra money and figured that since this job combines my love for animal care with my love for animals it is perfect for me! Since i am a student at newcastle throughout the majority of the week i have lectures to attend. However i have every friday off and am keen to work at any times over the weekend. I have a lifetime of experience in walking dogs especially doing it on busy streets or main roads. My priority is maintaining the dogs safety at all times on the walk as well as giving them the vital excercise they need to thrive.

About: What distinguishes me from other sitters is the level of personal care and love I provide to each creature. I treat each dog and cat as if they were my own, ensuring that they are secure, happy, and well-cared for. I'm dependable, adaptable, and take the time to understand each pet's own routine and personality. Whether it's long walks, extra fun, or simply quiet hugs, I go above and beyond to ensure that both pets and owners are entirely comfortable. As a student, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. I spend plenty of time giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. For pets staying at their owner’s home, I follow their routine closely, making sure they are fed, exercised, and cared for just as they are used to. I’m happy to provide any care the owner requests, as long as I can do it safely and responsibly.
