“I strongly recommend Michael, just wish he did childcare too! He is supper flexible, professional an friendly. Ziggy is deaf and can be a handful but Michael manages her really well with sign language. He has been a great help in giving advice about helping with her anxiety. He collects and does day care too - so just what we need. A safe familiar place and person. So pleased.”

About: I’ve always taken care of family members dogs, and had dogs all my life. I’ve also helped work colleagues with their pets when they have been on holiday etc. I currently work full time and am based in Morpeth, working Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm. I’m happy to help with early morning walks before 8am, late afternoon walks after 4pm, or assisting with feeding at dinnertime. I can also spend as much time as needed with pets during these visits I’m adaptable depending on what your pet and you require. Bringing pets to my home wouldn’t be an option because my family have 2 cats
“Tammy was very friendly, and professional. She turned up on time. Got to know my dogs as Arthur can be a little shy. Her communication was great and I would highly recommend her. Thank you Tammy”

About: Been around dogs most of my life:) Cared for a range including Golden retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Border Collies, Daschunds, Pugs & Frenchies. Now that I live in England, I really miss having doggy company and would love the chance to care for and spoil some pups again! I can work from home and my hours are flexible to work around the pups needs when doing so! Plus I already require daily walks myself 😆 I’m afraid I can’t commit to open ended repeat walks/visits as availability fluctuates so requests would require an end date. Also for bookings much further away I may need to add a couple quid to the rate just to cover my travel (as Rover takes a fair bit!) but that can be discussed on a case by case basis :) I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or staying at your home, I’ll stick to their usual routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they’re well cared for. On walks, I keep things safe and go at their pace. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and loved until you’re back, tailoring to their individual needs! For stays in my own home, I should note that I have a housemate so it wouldn’t just be me around the dog.
“Nelly was out for the full 30 minutes and came back with the biggest smile on her face! Chelsea is incredible, she filled me with so much confidence in her ability to handle Nelly and she was friendly, kind and really sweet with Nelly. Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life and I am currently studying animal care in college so I am able to carry out care for pets to a high standard and I have also received qualifications in this sector. I am able to do this morning and night between 6-8am and 6-10pm on weekdays due to college and other responsibilities and 6-8am and 2-8pm on weekends due to working. Feeding, grooming, watering, walking. I do this on a daily basis due to having pets of my own, and I have done this for many years.
About: Hi my name is Jade and I’m a massive animal lover. I adore dogs and have lots of experience of caring for dogs, both my own as well as my family and friends pets. I often become friends with dogs whenever I go - if that’s during work visits, holidays, walking trips etc. I own a dog myself called Bear who is my best friend. I lead an active lifestyle with me and Bear going on many adventures together, I live close to a large park and there are lots of local walking routes I.e riverside, beach, lakes and woods in the town I live in. I work for home meaning I’m able to spend time with your pet during the daytime, my work colleagues are used to seeing dogs appear during virtual video calls 🐾 I live on my own in a spacious two bed maisonette with access to my own private garden. Your pet will be treated as an extended family member during their stays with me, with regular photos and updates. I hope to hear from you soon I often start my day with a walk around the park with Bear, before I start working virtually at home. I will break midday and go on another walk around the park, alongside letting Bear out into the garden during the day time in between my virtual meetings. In the evening I will often take Bear to the beach in the next town over from where I live and go to the gym. My home is a clean and tidy environment where dogs are welcome to make themselves at home. Bear and his four legged visitors are allowed on my sofa and can sleep in my bed. The dogs get lots of attention, play time (Bear is a keen fan of fetch throughout the day) and cuddles.
“Nicole and jack kindly arranged a meet and greet with us before the walk. After being very anxious about finding a new dog walker they were very understanding and took all of the dogs needs and any concerns of ours onboard. We were kept updated and provided with report, recorded map of the walk and photos. Thank you ☺️”

“Amy stepped in at short notice to walk Floyd whilst he stayed with my mam as I had been let down by my dog boarder. She was super friendly, always on time and Floyd loved her! She kept in touch daily sending pictures and videos. Fab would 100% recommend.”

About: I’ve owned dogs since the age of 7 and have grown up around them, so caring for dogs feels very natural to me. Sadly, my dogs now live with my mum in Spain, and I’m really missing those doggy cuddles! I have plenty of experience with both dogs and puppies and understand how important routine, patience, and affection are. I’m currently on maternity leave, so I’m at home full-time and able to give your dog lots of attention, company, and care throughout the day. I’m a mum to 2-year-old twins who absolutely love dogs and are very gentle and caring around them. We’re an active household and are more than happy to take dogs on lots of walks and little adventures while they stay with us. Your dog would be treated as part of the family and given plenty of love, playtime, and comfort. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I am currently on maternity leave and at home full-time. This means dogs are never left alone for long periods and can enjoy regular feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have 2-year-old twins, so our days already include outdoor walks and time in the park, which works brilliantly for dog walks and little adventures. Nap times allow for calm bonding, grooming, and training, while evenings are relaxed and settled, making it ideal for cuddles and companionship. Overall, my schedule is flexible and home-based, allowing me to provide consistent care, supervision, and lots of love in a family environment. When caring for pets in my home, they are treated as part of the family. I have a fully fenced, newly refurbished back garden where dogs can safely go outside to toilet and get fresh air whenever needed. Because I’m at home full-time, I’m able to keep a close eye on them, maintain their usual routine, and give them lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have regular walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, as well as quiet time to rest. Feeding times, medication (if required), and any specific instructions from the owner are followed carefully. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help pets feel comfortable and settled. This includes feeding, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and companionship, as well as keeping the home clean and secure. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and loving care so owners feel confident their pet is happy and safe.
“Caitlin was great with Pip, she came to us before the booking to meet him and understand his requirements and habits (he's deaf and blind). When she then did her week, she took him and sent photos of the little champ! She was also very considerate on the hotter days, where walking in the midday sun would have been detrimental to his health. We highly recommend Caitlin for a job well done and won't hesitate to use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve owned animals my whole life up until recently, after my senior pup sadly passed away! Good with puppies who need entertaining and tiring out, as well elderly pets who need a calming and more subdued presence. Looked after many of my friends pets such as cats and dogs - even my sisters tortoise! Confident with smaller animals too like hamsters and guinea pigs. Have a good inkling for training basics with puppies such as sit, wait etc. I work in the film industry and work away when I have a contract, things are very quiet at the moment so I have complete free availability to look after your pets and available at short notice for your needs! Depending on what your fur baby needs, I’ll be there! Playtime with a new young pup, someone to sit with your elderly dog and keep them company… long or short walks or someone to help with a little bit of basic training if you’re out the house all day. I’m a very easy going individual who is confident with dogs and provide the specific care they need

Northumberland dog owners share their Rover experiences
Lindsey is great! She has a calm, friendly energy and Ralph absolutely loved going for a walk with her. This was the first time using a dog walker since adopting Ralph and I couldn't have asked for a better person . We previously did a meet and greet before confirming a walk and Ralph was so excited to see her again, so I felt very happy knowing he was going to have lots of fun and in a safe pair of hands. I'll definitely be booking a walk with Lindsey again and have also booked an overnight stay - I know Ralph will be excited to see her again. :)
