“Jock and Eileen had a great overnight stay with Kirsty. She put them at ease straight away and they were chilled and relaxed the whole time, enjoying the cuddles and stretching out on the huge sofa. Kirsty took excellent care of them and we will definitely book Kirsty again in the future. Thank you Kirsty :)”

“Ben has just had another wonderful stay with Ros and Charles, and always seems so happy and relaxed there. You can tell they have a lot of experience taking care of dogs and really enjoy it. Would absolutely recommend them and very glad we found them on Rover. :)”

“Natasha is lovely, warm and caring. She looked after Gizmo with care and consideration for his habits and requirements. I received updates and photos during his stay at hers. Highly recommended, will use her again”

“Left my 2 girls with Emily for 5 days & I couldn't be happier with how they were looked after, ive never left them with anyone so i was a bit apprehensive about how they would be, but i didnt have anything to worry about. with all the photos & videos Emily was sending me each day keeping me updated on how they were doing was amazing. My labrador now has a new best friend in Emily's dog reggie as it seemed they just played none stop & ran around the fields together out on walks. Next time I need to go away anywhere, Emily will be my 1st call to look after my girls.”

“Zoe is fantastic, very kind and patient and helped us out at short notice. Ozzy loved her from the moment he met her and Zoe put our minds at rest that Oz was being well looked after while we were away dealing with a family emergency. I can't thank Zoe enough!”

About: I’ve spent 16 years living with and loving small dogs, so I genuinely understand the quirks, cuddles, and care they need. I also work from home, which means your dog won’t be left alone - they get real company, not just check-ins. My two children are gentle, dog-savvy, and adore having furry visitors around, so your pup gets a family-style environment rather than a kennel vibe. And because I absolutely love walking, every dog gets plenty of fresh air, exercise, and happy sniffs throughout the day. Pet sitting fits really smoothly into my weekly routine. I already care for my own small dog - a very sociable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who lives for having other dogs around to play with - so having guest pups just becomes part of our normal day. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to give the dogs company, regular toilet breaks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Walks are already built into my schedule, so adding an extra set of paws just makes our outings even more fun. It all blends easily into my lifestyle, and the dogs really enjoy the steady, relaxed rhythm of the day. I do have two children and whilst they are at school during the day we can only welcome dogs that are comfortable with children around them. I care for pets in a safe, relaxed, and very dog-friendly home. We’ve got a fully enclosed garden, so the dogs can play, explore, and get fresh air whenever they like without me worrying about them. For longer walks, I’m lucky enough to live right beside a popular dog-walking park, so the dogs get proper outdoor adventures throughout the day. Between garden time, park walks, and plenty of company and cuddles inside the house, the dogs settle in quickly and feel right at home.
About: I’ve owned dogs since the age of 7 and have grown up around them, so caring for dogs feels very natural to me. Sadly, my dogs now live with my mum in Spain, and I’m really missing those doggy cuddles! I have plenty of experience with both dogs and puppies and understand how important routine, patience, and affection are. I’m currently on maternity leave, so I’m at home full-time and able to give your dog lots of attention, company, and care throughout the day. I’m a mum to 2-year-old twins who absolutely love dogs and are very gentle and caring around them. We’re an active household and are more than happy to take dogs on lots of walks and little adventures while they stay with us. Your dog would be treated as part of the family and given plenty of love, playtime, and comfort. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I am currently on maternity leave and at home full-time. This means dogs are never left alone for long periods and can enjoy regular feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have 2-year-old twins, so our days already include outdoor walks and time in the park, which works brilliantly for dog walks and little adventures. Nap times allow for calm bonding, grooming, and training, while evenings are relaxed and settled, making it ideal for cuddles and companionship. Overall, my schedule is flexible and home-based, allowing me to provide consistent care, supervision, and lots of love in a family environment. When caring for pets in my home, they are treated as part of the family. I have a fully fenced, newly refurbished back garden where dogs can safely go outside to toilet and get fresh air whenever needed. Because I’m at home full-time, I’m able to keep a close eye on them, maintain their usual routine, and give them lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have regular walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, as well as quiet time to rest. Feeding times, medication (if required), and any specific instructions from the owner are followed carefully. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help pets feel comfortable and settled. This includes feeding, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and companionship, as well as keeping the home clean and secure. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and loving care so owners feel confident their pet is happy and safe.
“Erin and Alex were incredible with Tec; caring, lovely and excellent communicators. I'll definitely be asking for help when I need a sitter again. I was especially grateful for the brilliant updates and time Erin and Alex took to meet, greet and later make sure Tec settled and was comfortable. Would recommend”

“George has had the best time with Tracey and her hubby , made himself right at home and has had their undivided attention. I honestly did not worry about him one bit after Tracey’s first message saying George had settled, they are a great couple so good he sat down reluctant to come home. Thanks until the next time !”

“We had such a great experience with Rachel looking after our Golden Retriever for a week in January. She was fantastic from start to finish—very caring, reliable, and always kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. Bailey was clearly happy and well looked after. Would absolutely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

About: I love looking after dogs and am always the go to dog sitter out of all my friends. I have been a dog owner myself, and love caring for dogs. I love all animals, and I'm happy to do drop-ins for any type of animal - other than spiders, I'm terrified of them! I work full time from home so will have lots of availability to support during the week and I am around on some weekends too. I have a fenced garden that is very secure so the dogs will have lots of opportunity to go outside. Adult only home with no other animals.

About: I absolutely love dogs and have grown up with them in my family for many years. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, from daily walks and feeding to playtime and lots of affection. I now have my own dog, Otis, who is 1 year old, so I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pet is safe, happy and well cared for. I’m comfortable with different breeds, energetic dogs that love long walks, and giving plenty of attention and cuddles. I will always treat every dog as if they were my own. My partner works away regularly meaning it is just me and Otis most days! We need extra cuddles and fun especially on weekends. I work a hybrid job mid-week, which means I’m home a lot and able to give dogs plenty of attention, company and regular walks throughout the day. Weekends are also perfect as I have lots of free time to dedicate to pet care. I love getting outdoors with my dog Otis and exploring all the beautiful walks around Northumberland. Your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, fresh air and adventures while staying with me. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I have my own friendly 1-year-old dog, Otis, who loves the company of other dogs and is used to regular walks and playtime. I always follow each dog’s usual routine for feeding, exercise and rest to help them feel settled and relaxed. I provide a calm, loving environment and will send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is happy and well cared for.
“Kim was absolutely brilliant with Missy, very professional but also friendly and caring. Missy is usually anxious in unfamiliar places, but she was settled and relaxed all the time she was at Kim's and got on well with her dogs. I got lots of updates and photos, which was reassuring and would have no hesitation in recommending Kim and have already booked her for a future boarding.”

“First time stay over for our boys, we did not need to worry, our boys were well taken care of. Really good communication to let us know they had settled in well, slept all night, and had their toast for breakfast 😀 no worries at all. Thank you 💚 🐾 🐾”

“Buddy had a great time with Michael and his family, he hasn't stopped talking about them since he got back. Great communication with lots of picture and video updates. Collecting him from my house was a great help too!”

“Dolly had a lovely time with Yuen Shan W. Met up before hand to introduce each other. Lots of updates throughout with photographs. Felt very confident Dolly was well cared for. Will definitely use again.”

“Anna and her family watched Ella for 3 nights, and Ella felt right at home straight away. We met up in advance ahead of the booking to make sure it was a good match, and Anna’s kind nature and her very well behaved little boy Marco made me feel right at ease. I knew Ella would have the best time there. And from the pictures shared I can tell she did :-) I have already booked in for next time!”

About: I provide calm, attentive care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience pet sitting over weekends and caring for dogs with additional needs, including elderly pets and dogs who are unwell. For example, I’ve looked after a dachshund who had no use of their back legs, so I understand the patience, gentleness and extra attention some pets require. I have been doing this for friends and family since being a teenager as I love being around animals but can not accommodate one myself just yet. I’m comfortable adapting care to suit each pet’s routine, whether that’s slower walks for senior dogs, giving medication, or providing extra comfort and reassurance. I always focus on keeping pets relaxed, safe and happy while their owners are away, and I make sure to give them plenty of attention, play and cuddles. I currently work full time but with work from home however I manage my own diary so I am flexible. I am also available all weekend on the weekend and every evening. I have a fenced garden with doggy friends on two sides, my dog used to love playing! I live in a three bedroom house so plenty of space they can hide if they need some quiet time and lots of fields nearby.
“Flexible, welcoming, and our dog had such a lovely time (you could really tell when we picked him up!) We got sent lots of pics to keep us informed. Thank you so much!”

I felt confident with Lindsey taking our Vizsla Frankie away for the day. She was lovely with her and asked what Frankie needed during her stay. I was delighted to receive photos of Frankie during the day reassuring me that she was ok. I would recommend Lindsey to look after any dog and will be using her again if she’ll have Frankie (our young and energetic dog) again.
