About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child alongside guinea -pigs, rabbits and chinchillas. Since living on my own (10yeard) I have had recue cats in my home and often looked after friends and family's animals by house sitting or walking them. For the last 2 years I have fostered dogs from the Charity Dogs Trust and have had basic training in grooming, giving medication and basic behavioural recognisition. I am most experienced with reactive dogs and those with anxiety. I currently work from home and only recently moved to Newcastle, so I am looking to have some companionship and floofy cuddles during the day. Plus living near whitley bay means loads of beach side walks and what better friend then a doggo to take with me. I have a fenced in garden and no other pets currently so your fur baby will have a safe, quiet environment. I do have a crate if needed but usually let the floors on the sofa or in a Doggy bed. I drive so can pop into your home to pick up a pet if needed for walks or check ins. My neighbours don't have dogs either so reactive dogs should be happy too.

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats from when I was very small and continue to have furry companions of my own in my adult life, who just make my life a little bit more complete. I have experience with cats of all types and ages, ranging from kittens who were rescued after being separated from their mother too early, to elderly cats with kidney problems and urinary incontinence. I am also experienced in grooming and in giving both oral and injected medications to cats. I have prior experience in volunteering at an animal shelter as both a cat/dog groomer, cat companion and dog walker. While cats are my first love, I absolutely adore the energy and excitability of dogs, and regularly enjoy going out for walks and adventures with a furry companion. I have experience with German Shepherds and other large dog breeds, having trained my own from puppies and later looked after them in old age. I have also had experience in caring for a elderly dog with dementia, and his associated behavioral issues. I am comfortable with dogs who require a little bit of extra attention and may require some simple training and/or behavioral grooming. I am a qualified paramedic and so have a varied schedule, however my Rover calendar will always be up to date months in advance - please take a look to see my availability :) I am unfortunately unable to care for additional cats/dogs in my own home as that is my pets' space and sanctuary. But I am available to assist with caring for pets in their own home, which I find is often the least distressing for them too. I am comfortable with sticking to feeding routines, adhering to special diets, ensuring the animal is stimulated and gets to burn off some energy with walks and/or playtime, and cleaning up after them.

About: I have a beautiful Labrador called Rex and my whole family have dogs! Love getting out on walks and would treat any dog as part of the family. I currently own a gorgeous black Labrador called Rex, I do share him 5 weeks at a time with my ex partner so when he is gone I miss his company and the walks! It is just me at home with no other pets or children. I’m free most nights and weekends! I Am available for holidays/weekend stays if well in advance My lab is sometimes lead reactive when meeting new dogs so I am very limited to caring for dogs when I have Rex, unless we arrange to meet and the dogs got used to each other over time I do work full time Monday-Friday, so can discuss daily arrangements to suit you. I have a fenced yard and fenced garden to keep dogs safe. I live local to a park for some lovely walks. Happy for them to be a part of the family when staying with me and can sleep where ever they’re comfortable!
