8. Louise L.
About: I’ve always grew up around dogs and have a cockapoo of my own who is turning 6 this year. He is my pride and joy and have had him since he was a puppy. I should be available to mind your dog when my beloved boy is not in the house which is usually every other weekend. I work full time so would not be able to take your dog unless I was off work during the week. I would be available most evenings if required for dog walk or dog sit. I have a high fenced back yard. I am happy to take any bedding/ blankets belonging to the pet to make them feel more comfortable within my own home. I also allow dogs on my furniture and bed as feel they should be treated like part of the family . The dog would never be left alone within my care where I go they go and if they don’t like social settings that’s fine, walks and chills on the sofa also work for me! For every dog I consider taking I would like to meet the dog and owners to understand the dog and make sure I can meet its needs. I am also happy to send owners updates of the dog when they are under my care as I know it’s Important to know your dog is having a good time!

9. liam r.
About: Hi, I’m Liam—a lifelong dog lover with over 4 years of experience walking and boarding dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I previously co-ran a local dog walking and boarding business and currently volunteer at a rescue shelter, so I’m confident working with all kinds of dogs, including rescues and those with quirks. At home, my own dog Nellie (a friendly, well-socialised 3-year-old) often joins walks and happily shares her space—but I’m more than happy to walk dogs solo if needed. I treat every dog like part of the family and always stick closely to their routine. I’m available 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday, for regular walks, one-offs, or even last-minute bookings. Each walk is tailored to your dog’s energy level and age—from slow sniffy strolls to longer, more active adventures. Boarding dogs get daily outings to local parks and even longer walks to the beach and The Leas (National Trust coastal area) when suitable. Boarding dogs stay in my spacious upstairs flat, with a secure, fenced garden for outdoor play. They also have access to a quiet room if they need time away from Nellie or a bit of space to relax. I kindly ask that boarding dogs are toilet trained and comfortable being around other dogs. Your dog’s happiness and safety are my top priorities—I follow all feeding requirements carefully and make sure they feel right at home from day one.

10. Victoria W.
About: Hello! I’m Victoria, mum to Matthew & Anna (11 & 8yrs) who will be present in the home during doggy day care and boarding. I have taken voluntary redundancy from my previous hybrid role in December and I am now home full time with more availability. My husband Shaun also works full time on shift leave and will also be in the home half days (according to shift change) with myself. I am trained in pet first aid. Fully insured and recommended. I have taken extra courses such as canine communication and an introduction to animal care, also a Pet sitting and dog walking course. (Please see images) *All CPD certified and available to view upon request. Rest assured your dog will be treat like my own, enjoying 1:1 adventures and unlimited adoration. We have a front and back garden both gated and fenced. Our home is based at the top of a large hill with fantastic views and walking trails to hand. I have years of experience with dogs other than my own. I had my own pet walking business for a while during covid and built a great customer base throughout, some that board with myself now. I have a full driving licence. Pick up and drop off available from your chosen Sunderland area ONLY. Happy to accommodate owners requests. Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. Sorry no reoccurring weekly bookings as I take on other clients for long durations throughout the year. I also offer a Wedding Dog Chaperone service package available upon request for prices and a list of duties please contact me. I’m about to take a voluntary redundancy from my current remote job of almost 11 years. I have always been home based and therefore able to board, freeing up my weekdays ables me to give all of my time to boarding, not just Friday - Monday. I have all the time for your beloved pet with no time obstacles, please ask any questions unanswered. I have a 6ft fenced back garden, grass, patio, decking, whichever they prefer. We also have a 6ft water feature (operates April - Sept) that the dogs seem to love! Out front we have a 4ft iron fenced garden with a drive. Again more grass, a great spot to relax and say hello to the passers by. I live in a very friendly cul de sac with very little traffic. The neighbourhood has a friendly atmosphere and great to play with other pets. I live on a hill with a popular trail area for dog walking. We also venture to Hylton castle and the pond which is also on our doorstep with large fields and parks for your pets leg stretches.

11. Alexandra M.
“I can’t recommend Alex enough! She’s one of the most reliable, kind-hearted, and attentive people I know — especially when it comes to dogs. Whether it’s walking a high-energy pup or keeping a close eye on a more laid-back dog, Alex has a natural way of making them feel comfortable and loved. She’s incredibly responsible, always on time, and treats every dog like her own. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your furry family member, Alex is the one!”

15. Antonia S.
“Antonia was an exceptional sitter for our sweet Bella. We had to book VERY LAST MINUTE for dog walking and Antonia was able to accomodate our early drop off of keys. Communication was GREAT, she was very fast in replying and I received so many wonderful pictures of their walk. Couldn't recommend Antonia enough, we will definitely book her AGAIN in the future!!!”

16. Brian L.

“Thanks for the updates Charlie is very excitable when he goes for a walk. He may have pooed a lot because he just wouldn't go outside the night before so must have savedvitcall up. He never has more than 3 when I take him out and can ho all day without eating. He only finally eats his dig food when he knows he won't get a treat until he does so. I sure Charlie will have loved his little adventure. Thanks again for accepting my late request.”
