About: I was raised with pets my whole life; my family focuses on rescuing dogs and cats from troubled backgrounds, and helping them relearn what a warm and loving home can be. From the age of 11, I both babysat and dogsat for my neighbours and friends of my parents. Since moving to university, I've missed my pets more than anything, and am very keen to get to know some furry friends here in Newcastle! I've had such a great time looking after different dogs already, and have developed close bonds with both the pets and their owners. My partner and I both work from home, so will be in the flat every day to look after your pets. Although I don't have a garden, I have easy access to grass outside of my building, and am a 5 minute walk away from Exhibition Park. As my partner and I both work from home, we're completely flexible and can be there for your pet 24/7. We'll always check with you how long your pet is comfortable being left for before we make any other plans during their stay with us. I have a very calm demeanor, and prioritise making sure the dog is completely comfortable in my presence. I am always happy to set up an initial meeting (free of charge) with your pet while you are there, so that they can get to know me and my scent before we spend time alone together.

About: Having grown up around both Cats and Dogs I have immense love and knowledge for both kinds of pets, having seen them all from puppies / kittens needing constant care and training to becoming grey faced seniors its helped me learn when to give them the space they ask for and the patience of a saint. Having taken my Working Cocker Spaniel to gundog training to acquire key skills and behaviours to the next challenge of my rescued German Shepard who struggled early days with sociability which has been a high hill to climb but we are getting there day by day. I possess a profound interest and genuine care for animals of all species, with experience in the South African bush working alongside the renowned White Rhino, as well as handling small, cold-blooded snakes discovered in our living quarters. I can assure my genuine love and care towards all of your pets. I am a university student but with a current in lecture time period of only 7-8 hours per week I have plenty of free time on top of my studies which I cant see being better spent than by being outdoors with pets, by providing drop in care or by staying overnight to give you peace of mind that your loved ones will not be alone. I will stick to routine as we all know our pets have a strong sense of time and when and how their day goes, so my goal is to keep their days as they expect and to the desire of you their owner. Plenty of care and love and going out for the necessary amount of time so each pet can receive perfect levels of stimulation and exercise.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats. I have had 3 border terriers and 4 cats throughout my life. I currently have 2 border terries one at age 4 and the other just 4 months. When I'm at home I spend a lot of time looking after the pets. I love going on dog walks everyday at home and I miss my pets whilst being at Uni, so this job is perfect ☺️ I am currently at University with an ever changing timetable, so my free hours vary between week to week. I will therefor be flexible with hours I have looked after my family and friends before whilst they have been on holidays and also babysat, so I am very trustworthy and comfortable coming into new homes.

I’ve looked after animals all my life, horses, cats, and my beloved Labradors - Louis, Jack, and Jill, who taught me patience, care, and how to understand each pets unique personalities. As a student, spending time with dogs is sometimes much needed company and a great way to get outdoors. I offer solo walks only, so your dog always gets my full attention and care. My schedule is flexible thanks to my university timetable, but I’m always available at these times: • Weekdays: evenings from 5 pm onward • Weekends: completely free, day and night 🐾 I make sure each walk is safe, enjoyable, and suited to your dog’s needs and energy levels. I often walk in Leazes Park, Jesmond Dene, or nearby areas, but I’m happy to use your dog’s usual routes if you prefer. You’ll receive photo and text updates during each walk so you can see how your dog’s getting on. I’m reliable, friendly, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’d be happy to arrange a quick Meet & Greet to make sure your dog and I are the right fit!

About: I am a trustworthy and reliable student who adores animals and would love to help someone out. I have plenty of experience looking after a range of animals for my neighbours. I am currently in university and have a part time job but I am not in all day everyday and can be flexible to your needs. I will always share my availability of that week with you for full clarity! Learn their personality so I don’t push boundaries they aren’t comfortable with, I aim to do this initially through communication with owners about needs, expectations etc.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since a young age and have two of my own, I have experience walking, bathing and playing with dogs, I don’t mind taking care of any messes either! I’m a university student, but I’m generally pretty free after 5 pm, and most weekends. I have experience in dog sitting, dog walking, and I am willing to fit the needs of your dog! I am able to cater to most needs in your home, like if the dog needs to be crated at certain times, if they need to be fed a certain way, etc.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, we’ve never not had one in the house! I’ve dog and cat sat for friends and family lots too. I absolutely love animals and always ensure they are happy and well looked after! I am a university student so daytimes are a little tricky for me, but I am around every Tuesday all day, every weekday after 5pm, and every other weekend! At my uni house we have a big square garden and we are a 2 minute walk, from the exhibition park, 5 min walk from leases park, as well as just across the road from the moor. There is lots of lovely routes around my house that I’m sure dogs will absolutely love. As for the house, it is very spacious, so the pets won’t be too bored when needing to be inside!

Im only in University two times a week therefore im able to have extra spare time therefore I thought it would be great to look after dogs! I always make sure dogs are safe, comfortable, and well looked after. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I keep a close eye on them and follow any routines or rules you have. Back home, I have two friendly dogs who love company, so I understand how important trust and care are. I make sure every dog feels loved, calm, and happy during their stay.

About: I have experience taking care of both cats and dogs. I myself have a cat which I care for by myself so I'm confident that I'm reliable and responsible to be a good pet-sitter. I'm a full time university student but I don't spend that much time outside so pet sitting and dog walking are an amazing time to be more active while I'm doing things I love and helping people out! That said, if I don't have a lecture planned, I'm more than happy to meet your pets! I live in a complex with CCTV security and two locks. About: I’ve had Labradors and horses my whole life, Family and friends have often relied on me to care for their furry friends and their home. I work part time and I am able to look after pets most weekdays and weeknights, caring on a weekend is work dependent but please ask if required. I can stay with your pet at home and take it to public parks or exercise it alone if preferred. I am able to drive and I’m happy for the dog to be in my car.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of friends and relatives most of my teenage years and absolutely love it! My family and I have two dachshunds and a lab of our own so I have lots of experience with dogs! I’m currently a university student so this means I have a very flexible timetable and plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I’m a very short walk away from Jesmond dean so can easily take your dog for pently of walks and am also a short metro ride from the beach!

About: I’ve looked after dogs for most of my life, whether they’ve been my own family pets or for family and friends. At home I currently have a 1 year old working cocker which I really miss when I’m back up at uni. Having such a high energy dog means I feel like I can keep up with just about anything! I am a medical student so sometimes just having a dog to hang out with is much needed! I have put “no pets” as in my uni house I have not got pets. I am a medical student so I do tend to have quite a busy schedule but I also sometimes have half days which means I tend to get back just after midday. As I am now on my placement years I have a little less free time but I am always free in the evenings and I am completely free on weekends, all day and night. My schedule varies weekly but but it means that no days are ruled out every week! I have a valid DBS certificate. I can easily crate your pet if needed, and due to growing up with dogs and having looked after a fair few I know my way around keeping them safe and any precautions I would need to take. As I will be looking after your dog in your own home it will mean that they won’t be uprooted or in a new environment, so you won’t have to worry about them being somewhere you don’t know and they don’t know. I am very respectful so any house rules you may have I will ensure to follow E.g. if your pet isn’t allowed on the sofa I will continue to enforce that.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and currently own three—Ron, Neville, and Barbara—each varying in age and size. Being away at university has made me miss the daily companionship of animals, and I see this app as a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the joy of caring for dogs. I have experience with dogs that require specific care; one of my previous pets had chronic ear problems, which involved regular ear cleaning and administering medication. In addition, I have been entrusted by family friends to pet-sit while they are away, further developing my responsibility and reliability in animal care. I also care for multiple chickens and ducks, demonstrating my ability to look after a variety of animals with different needs. My pet care will fit around my university timetable. So on some days I will be completely free and other days not. Free all evenings too. I will ensure that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and remain within my sight. They will be the focus of my attention while in my care, and I will avoid any distractions to maintain their safety and well-being.

About: My family had a dog and a cat from the moment I was born. All my life I have taken care of my pets and my friends' pets. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs so I can provide your pet the best care no matter the age. About: I was a dog owner of a Hungarian vizsla for 15 years (since I was age 7), and my dog had seven puppies which I helped to care for along with my family. So I do have lots of experience with dogs, whether it be dog walking, feeding dogs or clearing up dog litter. I'm looking for some dog therapy so I’ve made Rover my full time job! I love playing with dogs and I am always up for a cuddle with them. I will treat your dog as I would my own, with lots of love and affection. I am confident with all aspects of taking care of dogs because I just love them that much. I have a big house with space for your pet to run around, with a small fenced yard and Heaton park nearby to go on long walks. I am flexible with whatever times people need me to dog sit. Rover is my only job so I have lots of free time to take care of your pets, any ages or breeds of dogs welcome! I have a small fenced yard and there is also a park nearby I can take the dog on walks whatever the weather may be!
