“Alfie had a lovely stay with Bianka. I was nervous leaving Alfie as I’ve never had to use a dog sitter before. As soon as Alfie arrived he seemed at ease straight away and had a wonder around the garden. Biancka kept me updated and sent photos. Bianka even slept downstairs on the sofa with Alfie because he would not go upstairs ❤️🐶 I will be sure to ask Bianka to have Alfie again”

About: We have experience caring for puppies, different breeds and dogs with varying temperaments. Through raising Nala, our 6 month old Red Fox Labrador, Myself and my partner Julia have developed hands on experience with puppy training, socialisation and establishing routines. We have also cared for nervous dogs and dogs with separation anxiety through family and friends, and are comfortable administering medication when required. Me and Julia both work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on our shifts and occasional work from home days. We’re primarily available for boarding at weekends, with weekday availability on selected weeks. At weekends, we’re both home and able to give dogs plenty of attention, walks, play and company throughout their stay. We have a secure, fully enclosed garden and a dog friendly home where dogs are welcome on the furniture. We have two spare rooms, allowing visiting dogs to have their own comfortable space if needed. Our Labrador, Nala, is friendly and well socialised with other dogs. We always arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure every dog is comfortable and a good match. We’re also happy to follow individual routines, provide medication and walk dogs separately where required.

Zofia is a delightful individual who takes the time to listened to our needs, concerns and views. She addressed them all in a professional and understanding manner. As our first holiday without Zeus, we had our reservations to say the very least. We arranged a meet and greet down the sea-front, spent over an hour conversing. After searching multiple avenues, I settled on Zofia due to her personality, her manner and professionalism. I would heartily recommend Zofia to one and all for their canine cover needs, be it long or short stay, you can rest assured that Zofia and Ellie will look after your pooch as it were one of their own. Julie looked after our beloved dogs, a Cocker Spaniel and a miniature Dachshund, for 11 nights while we enjoyed a much-needed family holiday abroad. Julie was absolutely fantastic! Our dogs are quite needy and require that extra bit of attention, and Julie confidently cared for both of them, giving them all the love, attention and reassurance they needed. She sent us daily updates and lovely photos of their adventures and trips out, which was wonderful for us to see while we were away. Knowing that our dogs were having their own bespoke holiday too really helped us relax and enjoy our time away, knowing they were happy, settled and in such good hands. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after them and would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy and reliable. ❤️

Maya was fantastic when she cared for our dog last week. She took time to meet our dog in advance of to ensure she understood all his needs. During the stay, she provided regular updates and we felt comfortable that our dog was happy and being well cared for. We felt that Maya has a genuine love for pets and that warmth shone through in all our interactions. We have already made a repeat reservation with Maya for our next trip away. Thank you very much.
We can’t thank Emily enough for taking such good care of Holly while we were away on a short break. We found Emily on Rover and although we were apprehensive about leaving 6 month Holly for the first time, we needn’t have worried. We were massively reassured at our introductory meeting, where Holly met and made friends with Reggie and Emily was so good with her, we just knew that she’d be well looked after and made welcome. While we were away, Emily provided daily updates and photos. Holly was clearly having a wonderful time and didn’t miss us at all! Thank you!
Rachel did a wonderful job looking after Leia for a few hours while I had a meeting. She was warm and friendly and I can tell Leia had a great time! Rachel even washed out Leia’s food bowl, and didn’t complain when I was late picking Leia up (sorry again!) Thank you so much!
Collette was amazing, updated me on everything during the booking, took amazing care of my puppy on an overnight stay and was so lovely in the lead up, during the stay and drop off. Great communication, excellent care, her doggie Reggie was my little pups bestie by the end and is a sweet gentle angel, and I would recommend Colette to anyone who wants peace of mind when leaving their precious fur babies with a sitter.
I really couldn't be happier with Douglas and his family. They not just took care of Chili but she became a temporary family member. The constant updates and pictures were amazing and kept me assured she is in good hands. The cherry on top was really when I went to pick her up and even though she was happy to see me she didn't just abandon them, she got so comfortable and loved by everyone there that she just kept going over for cuddles. I couldn't have wished for a better place for Chili. Douglas and his family really went above and beyond, so Thank you so so much. 5 Star review probably not even good enough to tell how happy I am, and seeing Chili, how happy she was there too. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
