Loving home away from home with Travis
I’ve always loved animals and have loved and cared for family pets for a lot of my life. Me and my partner have recently got a dog of our own - a Miniature Dachshund called Travis. Travis is still a pup so we are in the process of training and so are more than happy to support your own pet with any of their training needs too. We will be patient with both puppies learning the ropes and seniors who need a gentler pace. We want every pup to feel loved and welcome them to be part of the family, however long that may be for. We understand how important it is to know your dog is in good hands, and we will make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and engaged all day. We are ready to provide a loving environment where your pup can play, rest, and feel right at home. Travis is super friendly and loves having company, so your pup will have a built-in playmate during their stay! He loves any dog he meets which will make a great companion for visiting pups, and we will always keep a close eye to ensure everyone gets along and feels happy and secure. We know how important it is to know how your pup is doing when you can’t be there so we will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your dog is doing.

There is not enough stars for Jess and Dom! We were so nervous about leaving Nala for the first time and they completely treat her as their own, she had such amazing walks, care and love from them both. We were sent regular updates daily while we were away and appreciated everything they did so much they completely put us at ease. Nala absolutely adored them and even came back with some new tricks🤣 massive thank you to them both and we will 1 million percent use them again❤️
Jess was brilliant, and Finn loved being there with little Travis. Looks like a new bestie. Highly recommended

Schedule
Since we’re both teachers, we have lots of availability during school holidays for full-time daycare and boarding. During the school year, we’re open for weekend care, walks, and evening stays. Pet care fits seamlessly into our lifestyle — we’re used to planning our days around feeding, walks, and quality time with our own dog.

Safety, trust & environment
We take safety and comfort seriously! Our home is dog-friendly, clean, and set up for supervised play and relaxation. Visiting dogs are never left unsupervised with our own dog until we know everyone is comfortable together. We make sure each pup has their own space to eat, rest, and feel secure. We stick to the owner’s routines as much as possible — from feeding schedules to walk times — and we always provide updates and photos so you know your dog is happy and safe. Whether your pup is here for daycare or an overnight stay, they’ll be treated with the same love and care we give our own dog. Our home is designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for dogs. We have a completely fenced garden where pups can play, explore, and stretch their legs in a secure space. We only host multiple dogs if they’re from the same family, so each dog gets plenty of individual attention and a calm, comfortable stay. Inside, dogs have access to cozy spots for naps and downtime, and we make sure everyone feels relaxed and at home. Our own dog is friendly and social, and we take time to introduce new dogs gradually to ensure everyone gets along. We’re surrounded by lovely walking areas, so daily walks and fresh air are always part of our routine. Safety, trust, and comfort are our top priorities — we care for every dog as if they were our own and always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how happy they are.
Pets
A typical day
Your dog will be stimulated both physically and mentally. We have a good-sized, fully fenced back garden which to play in and lots of green areas nearby that we can walk to. We are also not too far from the coast. We have toys to play with but equally, your pet is welcome to bring their own as a home comfort. Travis, our miniature dachshund, will be sure to keep everyone busy and playing. There will also be plenty time for cuddles with us and Travis.
