I started volunteering at a Guinea Pig rescue when I was 16. I have since studied Veterinary Nursing and Animal Psychology with the dream goal of working for the RSPCA. Although this hasn't happened, I am passionate about animals and animal welfare. I have been dog/pet sitting and boarding for 17 years and some of my clients have been with me since the beginning. I have experience with all shapes and sizes, breeds and temperaments.

OMG! There are not enough positive words in the English dictionary to describe Jessica ! I have used Rovers 3 times now in total (all different sitters). First one was amazing, second left me extremely anxious and third.. well you know the saying, third times the charm!! Jessica honestly showed so much love to our tornado! He is a handful at first, where he wants your non stop attention and will bark at you. He will then kiss you a million times if he loves you. I came home just now, and it was like we weren’t away. He genuinely wasn’t fussed we were back and I was like “ok then! This is great!” I want to list the things I honestly adore about Jessica: - She gave me continuous updates on Buddy - She didn’t have to, but she walked him - She is so friendly! - You can tell she loves animals! - She isn’t just friendly to animals, she is extremely friendly to everyone else she speaks with! - Has such a positive, energetic attitude! - She left the house in such a clean state ♥️ I said to my husband I wouldn’t want to go abroad due to the last time. But Jessica honestly was so amazing that I have decided to go away later in the year and book her again ! Honestly thank you so much! I have never felt more at ease leaving Buddy before ♥️ If anyone is considering booking her, DO IT! You will honestly be so happy with her!! Your babies will be cared for so well!
100% recommend. I’ve got a happy, content little dog back home. She enjoyed her stay, spoilt, walked, medicated, fed and watered. Already booked her next ‘holiday with Jess’ Happy dog= happy me. First time using Rover app and glad I found the best sitter.
Jess was a great Boarder, she's been doing this a long time and is very experienced. She was super communicative when booking and throughout Phoebe's stay and put me at ease with this being my first time leaving her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jess's services Phoebe was very well looked after
Jess looked after Olly while I was away. Very kind and passionated with my puppy. Will definitely get in touch again soon
Jess was fantastic with my Italian greyhound. I left him at ease and she kept me updated throughout his weekend stay. I would absolutely recommend her. She put me at ease right away as I have never left him before but she cared for him like her own which helped massively ❤️

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an upstairs flat, with a veranda, that I have a retractable dog gate on - so they can be outside enjoying the sunshine but can't escape. I live a 3 minute walk from the Royal Quays Marina and Coble Dene park which is a beautiful walk. I also drive so I frequently visit Holywell Dene, Jesmond Dene etc. If pet care is more complicated than just walking/feeding/playing, I always appreciate instructions. I have boarded in other people's houses many times and I always follow instruction and rules.
