I live in an upstairs flat, with a veranda, that I have a retractable dog gate on - so they can be outside enjoying the sunshine but can't escape. I live a 3 minute walk from the Royal Quays Marina and Coble Dene park which is a beautiful walk. I also drive so I frequently visit Holywell Dene, Jesmond Dene etc. If pet care is more complicated than just walking/feeding/playing, I always appreciate instructions. I have boarded in other people's houses many times and I always follow instruction and rules.

I started volunteering at a Guinea Pig rescue when I was 16. I have since studied Veterinary Nursing and Animal Psychology with the dream goal of working for the RSPCA. Although this hasn't happened, I am passionate about animals and animal welfare. I have been dog/pet sitting and boarding for 17 years and some of my clients have been with me since the beginning. I have experience with all shapes and sizes, breeds and temperaments.

Jess was fantastic with my Italian greyhound. I left him at ease and she kept me updated throughout his weekend stay. I would absolutely recommend her. She put me at ease right away as I have never left him before but she cared for him like her own which helped massively ❤️

I have known Jess for 17 years now, before I had a family of my own. We found each other on Gumtree; it took a few attempts for me to find someone I was even tempted to respond to after advertising for a dog sitter. Jess has sat my chihuahua Stan, who made it to impressive 14 years old! More recently she has sat our new chihuahua Bruce, who was born in 2024. My partner and the kids enjoy visiting Jess and meeting her small size dog Elsie and members of her family. I also remember Jess' old dog Daisy, she was beautiful and my chihuahua adored her. We have been pleased to receive regular updates from Jess while we've been abroad, we have a family dog chat. We have come to call Jess not only our dog sitter, but also our family friend. I honestly believe my chihuahua Stan classed Jess as his second mam. Bruce is still too busy with getting the hang of life, but I think he will feel the same in due course. Jess has always been happy to chat things through before we have decide to go ahead and we have never been let down last minute before going away, which is an important factor for us.
Jess is our dogs best friend after the time she has spent with them. She is kind, attentive and loving to our two little rascals, they love staying with her or getting the best of walks with her. Could not recommend more highly.
