I’m a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, sizes and temperaments. I have done a range of volunteering/placement at different shelters and organisations. I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as older pets who may need extra patience and attention. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand animal behaviour, health and safety, and husbandry. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative and genuinely love spending time with animals.

I enjoy keeping dogs physically and mentally stimulated with games, enrichment activities and exploring local parks and new walking routes. I always adapt to each dog’s energy levels and routine so they feel comfortable and happy.

Maya is a fantastic pet and house sitter. We are so grateful that Maya could fit us in last minute. Our 2 year old Labrador was in safe hands and very well looked after. Maya gave us plenty of updates while we were away. Would not hesitate to book again!

I am in my summer holidays of uni with few other commitments so have plenty of time to look after and play with your pets!
