I especially have a soft spot for nervous or sensitive dogs and understand that some need a little more patience and reassurance. About: I've had pets ever since I was a little kid, I've had dozens of connections with cats of my own and I love them, the same going for dogs too! I have a very good sense and closeness with animals that can ensure that your pet is well cared for and looked after. I am currently a student finishing up the end of his year, meaning I have plenty of spare time to care for all your pets in need while you're away! I'm available almost anytime throughout the week and I'm spontaneous with taking care of them, and I can take care of them overnight on weekdays for when needed! I'm a very gentle pet handler, I'll make sure that their happiness and wellbeing is held to just as high a standard as their safety is, with that being top of the line. I can always keep my eye out on them and be attentive at all times for when the situation calls for it.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. About: I have owned dogs all my life. I have a whippet cross currently and my parents have a patterdale that I look after regularly. About: I've been around dogs for as far back as I can remember, everything from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I'm often asked back to repeat sit for people, because they know that their pets are in safe hands with me, and that their house will be clean and tidy when they return from their holiday. I've done pet sits all over the UK and can travel up to 100 miles from my home in Hartlepool, as I don't have any work or family commitments that prevent me from travelling. However, please note that if you live more than 40 miles drive from Hartlepool, then I will require travelling expenses on top of the sit payment please. I prefer to be with smaller dogs and dogs that are obedient. If your dog has behavioural issues, is aggressive towards people or other dogs, or has bitten anyone in the past, then please don't message me. If you do message me, please be polite and courteous. If your pet has an appointment booked, then I can take them to it in my car, but if they cause damage to my car I will expect you to cover the full cost of repairs.
