About: I've been around dogs for over 30 years and love them. A wonderful friend suggested dog sitting and i think it's a fab idea. I know dogs are not humans and need gentle and loving car . . . Actually a bit like humans! But without the explaining, i guess I work, but generally between 09:00 - 14:30 max. With 30 minutes travel time. The work day would start and end with a walk. Food afterwards. I feel it better to eat after exercise. I like to share, sofas, beds and little treats from my meals _ if ok I have a fully fenced rear garden, with lawn & hedge. Open lawned front garden. North facing, rear kitchen diner with patio doors _ so nice and cool and quiet (but with plenty of birds and an occasional cat to add interest). Doggie height front room window to say 'hello' as the neighbourhood passes by. Wooden floors and sofas downstairs and a my bed to sleep on upstairs _ unless suggested otherwise. Dog walking field a few minutes one way and duck pond ten minutes the other. Wonderful beaches at seaton canoe 20 mins away.

I’ve always had cats, dogs and an array of wonderful animals! I have worked in a veterinary practice for 4 years and am more than happy to care for any animal. Since I wasn’t sure how Albert would react to new people and other dogs, we even arranged a quick meet-and-greet beforehand, which made me feel really comfortable and reassured. Amy was reliable, flexible, and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She kept me updated during the day with messages and photos, which I really appreciated. Even though Albert is still a puppy and not fully trained yet, she was very patient and welcoming. Her dog Jasper is lovely as well, and the two dogs got along perfectly. About: My experience with dogs started when I was born. The family dog was one year old so I have grown up with dogs which installed a deep and meaningful bond with dogs. I have fostered many rescues from the UK and Romania, as well as adopting. I love all dogs and care for them as if they were my own and have owned and have experience with puppies, reactive dogs and seniors so have experience with a wide variety of different breeds and ages. I currently work part time from home, so will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, walk them and look after any of their needs from brushing to tear stains and feeding and/or medication. I will still be able to take your dog all day as I can work around their needs. I have a 6ft fenced garden and 3 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company if they want. Dogs have free roam of the house and garden and are welcome to sit on the sofas or beds, but am also able to provide crates/beds if needed for your pet. I am a short drive away from Marske beach and a wonderful wood so your dog will get a nice variety of walks twice a day depending on time spent at my home. Water bowls are placed in every room so they will have plenty of access to water at all times and will never be left more than 3 hours at a time if boarding overnight. At weekends our dogs are our passion so all days out are worked around dog friendly walks and cafes/pubs if needed. Your baby will also be able to enjoy weekend adventures if you would be happy for us to take them along.

I am very experienced in administering medications for unwell animals and a dab hand with vet-wrap for those clumsier pups (side effect of owning sighthounds). I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.

About: I’ve started caring for animals since I was 10, starting with small rodents like hamsters and rabbits, even having fishies multiple times. Since 13 I’ve looked after my two Jack Russel Terrier mixes who are inseparable. They have PTSD and have come out of their shell amazingly and are now older dogs but still loving all the same. I also now have a Cockapoo who has major separation anxiety when away from my mom and I keep her so happy and entertained. I’ve cared for manny animals for others in the last 4 years, from a French bulldog with dietary requirements, special walking needs and anxiety to a bigger golden retriever who is caring all round. I’ve fostered a handful of kittens and cats before finding them a loving and caring forever home, I’ve looked after manny dogs and even smaller pets like reptiles and rodents. I am currently in University however it doesn’t take up every day of my week, this means most days of the week I will always be free. As for weekends, I can move things around to suit your best needs! When it comes to your home, I will be with the animal all hours of my time there, minus my own toilet breaks of course ahaha, and will be walking them as needed or letting them out into the back garden to go toilet. I will make it my too priority if your fur baby has any special requirements they are met on time and at the best quality I can give.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. This was only the second time Buddy spent time away from us and the first time it took him a long time to settle (at my mother's place no less!). “Having been let down by another sitter we found Andrew what impressed me was the personal write up on his profile, due to the fact we have 2 rescue dogs we thought Andrew’s previous experience would be perfect and this turned out to be correct Dexter & Holly have just returned after a one night trial and all has gone well, before booking this we went through with the dogs to see if we could introduce them and see how it went Due to Andrew’s perfect calm nature the dogs settled to our amazement really well and Holly fell in love with Andrew The overnight stay has gone well even though the dogs seemed more anxious when dropping off Dexter who we thought may be an issue settled straight away but through patients and staying away Holly settled after 2 hours I would highly recommend Andrew but reluctant as I don’t want him to become too busy so we can’t get back booked in 😂 It has been a pleasure dealing with Andrew and his lovely partner Sian we feel blessed to have found such a lovely caring perfect dog sitter and now booking up for our dogs when we go on Holiday Regards Colin & Nicky”
