About: We are a young couple who both currently work in the veterinary industry. I am currently a veterinary care assistant & receptionist for the last 4 years in Middlesbrough. I have always grown up around dogs and cats and currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. Alex is a qualified veterinary surgeon also working in the Middlesbrough area. He works with dogs, cats and exotic pets. He has also grown up with dogs, cats and reptiles but currently has 2 pet snakes. We are both very experienced with all types of pets, including large breeds, small breeds, young pets, geriatric pets, anxious pets as well as giving all medication types such as oral, topical and injectable medications. We are both busy professionals that typically work during the week days. But we both have Thursdays weekends and most evenings free to look after your pets. With enough notice we are able to move our schedule around to fit around your pets needs. We both care for animals for a living, so we are both extremely knowledgable about pet care and welfare. Animal and human safety and welfare is our top priority. We recognise that each pet has individual needs and requirements and we will always do our best to achieve this. This may include strict exercise routines, feeding specific diets and administering medications. Unfortunately we are not currently able to provide pet sitting at our home.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have also dog sit my grandparents elderly west highland terriers before. My parents were cat breeders so I’m very comfortable with cats and dogs. I grew up with a border collie. Other family pets included ducks, chickens, rats, birds, turtles, hamsters. I have a house with a large garden and also backs onto a woods great for walkies! I also leave all the doors open so the pets can come find me st my workstation and I can keep an ear out for them! I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. But please ask as I might be able to make exceptions I can do walks/stays after 17:30 in the teesside area and potentially could do a drop in visit during the day depending on where you live I'd care for the pets in the owners home and follow the instructions they gave me about keeping their pets safe, hopefully this would make life easier for the owner

I can't recommend Lyndsey enough. I could tell from the updates she really got my cat Luna (sweet but sassy and very vocal!). Luna is an quite an independent outdoor cat but I could see from the updates Lyndsey still spent the time to get to know her and make a fuss of her (even if that was sitting on the doorstep with her giving her strokes while she was in the garden). I am also chronically unorganized and she took in parcels for me when needed. It's just lovely when your away from home to get updates that make you smile and know that your cat is happy and getting well taken care of.
We were really happy with the care our cat Vera received from Vanessa. Vera was visited every day at the agreed time and Vanessa spent time playing with Vera and keeping her company. We received photo updates and a quick report about how she was getting on. When we returned from our trip away Vera was settled and content, having been well looked after.
This is the first time I’ve booked a sitter for Rosie as opposed to taking her to the cattery. Lisa is lovely and I felt very at ease leaving her to care for Rosie while we were away. Lisa was very understanding despite a mix up with the first meet-up, and accommodated a very last minute booking. Updates and pictures received at each visit, and came back to a very happy cat who clearly enjoyed the attention 💕. Lisa followed Rosie’s routine which I’m very thankful for.
