About: Hello 👋 I am Ruth, 34 and have a 9 year old mix Pip. She is a rescue and through endless love and training she has blossomed over the years from a nervous, shy, quivering pup into a friendly, confident and loving dog. She is in excellent health for her age and loves nothing more than to zoom around a field! I have trained 3 of my own dogs and believe in a loving, positive approach with sensible boundaries. I am extremely active so your dog will get plenty of exercise! I have experience with dogs from 12 weeks to senior. I am self-employed so have plenty of time to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I am very flexible and can work around you and your furry friend as I can't work from anywhere at any time. I have my lovely Pip to keep your pet company and lots of play and socialisation. I can walk, spend time with or care for your pet in your home. I am clean, tidy, respectful and trustworthy. I am keen on animal health and feeding a good diet and plenty of exercise, with constant access to water and regular toilet breaks.

About: As a pet owner myself I am an excellent sitter and I have also cared for friends and families pets while they have been away on holidays. I can provide your pets with the best quality of care as I would with my pets and keep them well entertained. Each experience with a pet has lend me to understand each pet individually so make sure they have a stress free time while you are away. I am currently away from home to attend University. I’m originally from Newcastle and have a couple of pets at home which I miss terribly but being a student in student living I am not allowed to get any sort of pets which is hard as I am pet lover. I joined this app to help pets feel comfort while you are away and for me to experience the enjoy of pets love again. I can help you provide and keep your pets on their schedules of their daily activities such as walk to stretch their legs and keep them active, being feed and water, play time and also a time to rest.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

About: We brought home our first puppy when I was 10, ever since I have looked after and cared for animals personally and professionally. From small furies to horses, I love all animals and will look after yours like they’re my own! At the moment pet care is my full time role, I love animals and this is a dream of mine. I will make sure your fluffers are looked after to the highest standard. I will be looking after your pet in your own home and will always follow your house rules whatever they might be. About: I have been pet and house sitting for the past 11 years with Jane. We started in Australia and travelled the world sitting for owners. I have had dogs all my life and experienced multiple dogs at the same time. We have looked after a range of different dogs from small to large. Recently we've completed several Animal Care course in first aid and behaviour. Our experience We are non smoking, polite couple who take care of the things around us. We love to clean and have things looking tidy and smelling nice. We have been trusted to use previous house sitters cars so I feel we are very responsible and trustworthy. Qualifications with Distinction: * Animal Healing and Technique * Dog Medication * Animal Care Level 3 * Dog Grooming * Canine Behaviour Course Level 4 * Feline Behaviour and Psychology Diploma * Exotic Animal Care * Pet First Aid and CPR Level 3 This is our only job so your pets needs come first. We stay in your home for the entire sit so your home is also secure and protected while you are away. Animals are not left for more than 4 hours a day and the rest of the day we are there to tend to the animals needs ie playtime, toilet breaks, feeding etc.

About: I've looked after my sister's large dog since she was a puppy, fed her and took her out for walks and minded her when my sister went away. I love when my friends bring their dogs when we go for walks so I can give them lots of attention and cuddles. When out in public I always stroke dogs with permission and talk to them Currently I have more free time than usual and I am available during the week and weekend for hourly/ daily visits and for overnight stays. I live in Hartlepool so I'd be willing to do drop in visits and walks for anyone living within 10 miles of me and I would stay in your home up to 35-40 miles away from where I live. But please ask as I might be able to make exceptions I can do walks/stays after 17:30 in the teesside area and potentially could do a drop in visit during the day depending on where you live I'd care for the pets in the owners home and follow the instructions they gave me about keeping their pets safe, hopefully this would make life easier for the owner

I had quite a few needs (including charging GPS collars) and he did a great job, including opening windows in the hot weather and the cats love him. The photos were appreciated too.
