About: I've been around dogs for over 30 years and love them. A wonderful friend suggested dog sitting and i think it's a fab idea. I know dogs are not humans and need gentle and loving car . . . Actually a bit like humans! But without the explaining, i guess I work, but generally between 09:00 - 14:30 max. With 30 minutes travel time. The work day would start and end with a walk. Food afterwards. I feel it better to eat after exercise. I like to share, sofas, beds and little treats from my meals _ if ok I have a fully fenced rear garden, with lawn & hedge. Open lawned front garden. North facing, rear kitchen diner with patio doors _ so nice and cool and quiet (but with plenty of birds and an occasional cat to add interest). Doggie height front room window to say 'hello' as the neighbourhood passes by. Wooden floors and sofas downstairs and a my bed to sleep on upstairs _ unless suggested otherwise. Dog walking field a few minutes one way and duck pond ten minutes the other. Wonderful beaches at seaton canoe 20 mins away.
“Great communication, for which i was very grateful as i was a little worried about leaving him. I shouldn’t have worried though as Max was well looked after and i could tell he enjoyed his stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch again for future trips.”

I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits or overnight stays, I’ll make sure your dog gets the care, exercise and attention they need. Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my priority. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, keep them comfortable in their own environment, provide regular updates, and treat them with the same care and attention as if they were my own.

“We’ve had a fantastic experience with Emily. She looked after our Olde Tyme Bulldog while we were away and it gave us real peace of mind. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos she sent through, it was lovely to see how happy our dog was in her care. Communication was excellent throughout, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Abbie looked after my dog Spike for a few days. She gave him lots of attention, took him out on walks, cuddled with him and made him feel very happy. Abbie gave me frequent updates on Spike which made me feel a lot better as I knew how he was doing. I would definitely recommend Abbie and I will book Abbie again to look after Spike!”

“Minnie had a wonderful time with Kay. We felt at ease instantly, as Kay was so thorough when asking about Minnie’s needs and showed her lots of love from the get go. She has an amazing garden which Minnie wasted no time in enjoying! Kay sent lots of updates with photos and videos to put our mind at ease too which was fab. We would recommend to anyone who would like a kind, loving home away from home for their pup, we will certainly be using Kay again.”

About: I provide extra attention and care to pets. Because of how meticulous I am, I easily and quickly notice changes in their personalities or moods which is very necessary in picking up signs of health issues or any distress. I believe it is very important to treat animals with love and provide them with all the care possible. I have catered for different kinds of pets so I am very aware that different pets require personal attention and care specific to them because temperaments and behavioural patterns are different. That helped me understand better how to train pets based on their individual/personal circumstances. Every pet is a new joyful experience for me. It warms my heart to care for them which makes me feel like they do more for me. I love them.
“Having been let down by another sitter we found Andrew what impressed me was the personal write up on his profile, due to the fact we have 2 rescue dogs we thought Andrew’s previous experience would be perfect and this turned out to be correct Dexter & Holly have just returned after a one night trial and all has gone well, before booking this we went through with the dogs to see if we could introduce them and see how it went Due to Andrew’s perfect calm nature the dogs settled to our amazement really well and Holly fell in love with Andrew The overnight stay has gone well even though the dogs seemed more anxious when dropping off Dexter who we thought may be an issue settled straight away but through patients and staying away Holly settled after 2 hours I would highly recommend Andrew but reluctant as I don’t want him to become too busy so we can’t get back booked in 😂 It has been a pleasure dealing with Andrew and his lovely partner Sian we feel blessed to have found such a lovely caring perfect dog sitter and now booking up for our dogs when we go on Holiday Regards Colin & Nicky”

“Vanessa took wonderful care of Rumi while I was away. She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated after every visit with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Rumi’s wellbeing and made sure she was fed, comfortable, and had some company during each visit. Coming home to a happy, relaxed kitten was the best reassurance that she had been well looked after. I would happily book Vanessa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.”

About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember and for the past 15 years I've been lucky enough to share my home with them. Living with cats has taught me that every one is different – some want to play and chat, others would much rather observe you from afar! I'm happy to take the time to get to know your cat and care for them in the way that suits them best. By day, I run my own business, so being organised, dependable and communicating well with people is second nature to me. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your cat is a big decision, so I pride myself on being reliable, respectful and treating every home with care. During my visits I'll make sure your cat has everything they need, keep to their usual routine as much as possible and send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing they're happy and well. I'm also happy to water plants, bring in post and keep an eye on your home while you're away. I hold an enhanced DBS check and cover Norton, Wynyard, Billingham and the surrounding areas.

About: I have loved and cared for dogs my entire life and have grown up in a dog loving home. My family has a French Bulldog who is now 12 years old, and I have been closely involved in his care throughout his life from a little pup all the way to a senior dog. I regularly look after him when my family are away, ensuring his daily routines are maintained and that he feels comfortable and well cared for. In addition to this, I frequently care for other family pets while they are on holiday, providing walking, feeding, and general day to day care. I am attentive, patient, and reliable, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and cared for as they would be at home. I am available for dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking and drop in visits on weekends. I can organise longer stays/visits upon request. For clients that choose dog boarding/dog sitting, I live with my partner who will also be in the house as he works at home full time. I provide a calm, safe, and attentive environment both in my home and in a pet owner’s home. In my home, dogs have plenty of room to relax and I also have a large, fully fenced garden where they can safely play and get fresh air. Outside of my home, I have access to lots of green spaces, which allows me to take dogs on regular walks in quiet surroundings. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to maintain their normal routines, including feeding, walking and any specific care needs.
About: Previous dog owner of my lovely girl for 18 years. I have provided regular day and overnight care for two family dogs for the last 9 years (from puppy onwards) We relocated to the North East in July 25. We have previously been registered on Rover, when living down south. We all enjoyed the experience and built an excellent rating, with many repeat visitors. I am at home 7 days a week. Living in a mutigeneration family (Mother, sister and 2 teenagers - all dog lovers) so full time care and attention is always available. We love dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. The beach is only a safe 7 minute walk away, so access to lots of exciting walks, smells and stimulation is on our doorstep. I have a good sized family home, with a secure fenced garden. A large family/ kitchen area with plenty of space for our doggy visitors to relax. We also have a cosy living room for some personal space and quiet time. “As this was willows first time away from myself I was quite nervous on how she would be however Ella-Marie was fantastic, kept me updated throughout and willow was a really happy pooch 10/10 and will definitely be using Ella’s services again!”

“Yana has provided doggie day care for Henry for two days recently. She provided lots of photos and info about her care for him, walks, meals etc. When I collected him on the first day he was contented and happy and it was clear he was excited to go back again the following day. I can highly recommend Yana. Making arrangements for the care was easy and she provided excellent care for Henry.”

“Nicole did an excellent job looking after Indi so that we could have a full day at a music festival. She provided me with photos and updates throughout the day. The updates were very informative and the photos showed that Indi was enjoying herself. Plenty of walks, ball chasing and play with Nicole's friend's dog. All three activities are what Indi likes the best. Nicole also fed Indi as instructed and dropped her off at ours at the end of the day. Everything perfect, we will definitely use her again, thank you so much, Nicole”

“Very welcoming to me and Pansy. I could see she felt at home and was happy to leave her. Good communication between me and the sitters. I would definitely ask them to have Pansy again.”

“Emma is a true friend of our fur babies. I left my puppy with her for 12 hours ( he seen her only once before for about 30 minutes ),he was looked after, ans he had a great time with other dogs. Emma sent me lots of photos when she walk him. I know how stressful is leaving your friend with someone else, as is not just about the food and care, it's about looking at them and be able to see their personality and understand they are not just animals. I definitely recommend Emma - your friend will be not only safe, but also happy. Thank you Emma”

“My pup Beni really enjoyed his day. This was his first day without immediate family around. Sitter, Frances, advised he was a good boy. Enjoyed playing in their home and was comfortable with her. Will continue to use as Beni likes her. Hoping to have a sleep over soon. Thanks again.”

“James and his wife had Ozzie all day, he settled straight in to their company, enjoyed joining them on their activities and got loads of snuggles and attention. I would definitely use their services again.”

“Boo had the best time today!! So happy and relaxed played in the garden and had snuggles on the sofa she can’t wait till her next visit!! 😁 Can not be happier with today’s visit such a warm friendly welcome the perfect place thank you we will be returning 😁”

“As this was our first time leaving Kobi with someone else, we were a little apprehensive. But Kobi loved her stay with Anthony! We are 100% confident that Anthony can meet all Kobi’s needs when she’ll be staying with him for a week in August! We just hope Anthony won’t be too shattered after a week with her 🤣”

About: We’re not here to make money, we’re here because we genuinely love having dogs around, which is why we’ve set our prices as low as the app allows. My partner and I recently moved back from Australia. While we were there, we couldn’t have our own dog because of the long term commitment, so we used a similar dog sitting platform instead. We looked after lots of wonderful dogs, and many owners came back to us time and time again whenever they needed a sitter. We both grew up with family dogs, so having one to care for again was something we really enjoyed. For us, dog sitting is the best of both worlds, we get to give your dog plenty of love, attention and care while you’re away, and you get the peace of mind that they’re with people who genuinely enjoy having them around. We’re not trying to turn this into a business. We simply love spending time with dogs, and we think that shows in the care we give. :) Since arriving back from overseas i Lloyd have a long wait before I am cleared to rejoin my job so at the present time I’m home full time and Emma my partner is working evenings for now so your dog will never be left alone at all. We have a large open planned 2 bedroom house that boasts a huge back garden that is fully fenced off. We are happy to care for all sized dogs as well as having more than 1 if needed. The dogs will have full access to the house and garden and will have the best care possible!
“Samantha did a perfect job for us looking after our anxious Bichon Archie. My mind was put at rest straight away and I really appreciated the pictures and messages I received throughout his stay there. I will definitely use Samantha again. Thank you so much.”

“My spaniel Winnie can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but she loved Charlotte from the moment she met her! She’s always so excited to visit and runs straight out of the car and up to Charlotte’s front door which is such a great sign. I trust Charlotte with Winnie and she’s very reliable too so I would highly recommend.”

About: At my dog sitting service, I am proud to providing top-notch care for dogs with a personal touch. For example: puppy and senior care, video calls with the owner, daily reports about how we spent the day, online tracker ( walking routes, location) with a 24/7 acces via app, home made cooked healthy meals (optional). I'm mainly at home all day, but I have cctv access with a speaker option if I need to go out. I never leave a dog at home alone who is with me for the first time and I am not sure what to expect from them exactly. I have a fully closed rear garden and a friendly tiny dog, Bobby (11, Shi-tzu mix :). Dogs can use sofas, beds if they are allowed at their home as well. I only use crate at a special request of the owner. Dog walks are only on-leash.

About: I have been around dogs all my life, from big to small. I’ve looked after families dogs plenty of times, one which requires diabetic medication and care. In october 2024, I took on a dog that required extra care and attention due to anxiety and being abused as a pup. I work as a TA with flexible hours. Due to the nature of my job, I only work 1-3 days a week which means I can be readily available when needed. I have a large fenced garden with double doors that open onto it, and I am happy to leave the doors open for air flow and to allow the dog freedom of being inside or outside. I can crate if required.

About: Hi, I’m Amey ☺️ I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them, whether that’s going for walks, giving them company or simply helping them feel safe and comfortable. I especially have a soft spot for nervous or sensitive dogs and understand that some need a little more patience and reassurance. I have experience caring for dogs and regularly spend time around rescue dogs, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and temperaments. I’m calm, reliable and happy to follow any routines, boundaries or training your dog is used to. I’m mainly available on weekends and would love the opportunity to spend time with a lovely dog who enjoys walks, companionship and lots of fuss 🐶🐾 I work full-time within a primary school setting during the week, so I’m mainly available on weekends and during school holidays. I enjoy spending my free time around animals and love going on walks, giving pets company and helping them feel comfortable and settled while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, relaxed and secure in their usual environment. I’m calm, patient and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, boundaries and any specific needs they may have. I especially understand that some animals can be nervous or need a little extra reassurance and patience.

About: I have 14 years of experience caring for various pets, including dogs and cats. Skilled in managing feeding schedules, and providing exercise and companionship. Experienced with grooming and handling anxious pets with patience and care. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 1pm I have a fenced yard and a friendly cat to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dogs if needed more care
About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

“Ana looked after our lively Labrador as if she were her own, thoughtful in planning and kept us up informed how she was to calm an anxious dog owner ! She had a great time and forgot who we are, she has a new family 🤣 already booked again thank you so much”

“Zoe was fabulous with Kobi who settled very well. We were provided with loads of photos & videos. It looks like Kobi had a great break, as much as we did. We will be booking with Zoe again. A BIG Thank You from all of us”

“Rebecca was absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend her enough. She was very thorough in the meet and greet and asked lots of questions about Maisie’s care. She allowed me to view her home so I could see where Maisie would be staying and Maisie fell in love with the garden and their wonderful dog. Throughout the booking I have received lots of updates with messages, photos and videos. I have never left Maisie before in a kennel or a strangers home so this was something I was nervous about. However, I felt at ease straight away seeing how comfortable and happy she looked. Seems like Maisie has found a second home! Cannot thank you enough!”

“Biscuit's initial stay was a trial run for when he's left longer. Liam, Hannah and Beau were absolutely brilliant with our little Biscuit. We had some nerves with Biscuit being newly rehomed to us and still just finding himself, but we needn't have, within 15 minutes of leaving we had a photo of Biscuit cuddled up to Hannah. We had plenty of updates and nothing was a bother when we messaged Liam, even when we forgot to send Biscuit's rain jacket and towel. We have no worries about leaving him with Liam, Hannah and Beau again in a few weeks :)”

“I have lost count of how many times Sadie has stayed with Anthony, she is always very happy to see him and stay there. Sadie has a great time and is well looked after . Thank you Anthony, that’s the second time this month you have had her, I didn’t get the chance to say thanks for the beginning of the month.”

“This lady has been amazing she was great with Bailey and showed so much love towards him he was sooo happy. She was accommodating very helpful and kind. Her house was beautiful with a lush garden. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you”

“Holly took great care of Pepper at very short notice due to a family member being ill. She was extremely accommodating and caring and thoughtful. Holly kindly sent lots of updates and photos of Pepper having the time of his life during his stay. He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. I’ve already arranged for Pepper to go back to see Holly in a couple of weeks and Holly would be my go-to person for all future stays for Pepper. Thank you so so much Holly.”

“Brilliant, cannot recommend Ella-Marie enough. Reliable, responsive, and accommodating. Our two dogs were extremely well cared for, they came back very happy and lovely they had a little holiday themselves whilst we were away. Excellent updates including pictures and a video. Pick up and drop off service was excellent also! Will definitely use again. Thank you so much Ella-Marie.”

“Blu has had the most amazing long weekend with Georgia and her family! He was treat as one of her own pets and given so much love throughout his stay! I was kept updated all weekend with photos and videos and it was clear to see how much Blu was well cared for. I would recommend Georgia 10/10, it felt like he went from home to home and Blu cannot wait for his next stay :) thank you so so much! Xxx”

“When you leave your dog with someone it is always a worry, however Peter was great and looked after our little girl so well. He gave us updates and photos during her stay too. Would not hesitate to leave Tina with him again.”

“Piglet had a great time staying with Alla and family. We've only used Rover for 1 or 2 night stays previously so were a bit apprehensive leaving Piglet with someone new for two weeks but we weren't worried about her at all! We got daily updates including videos and beautiful photos, she was well cared for and seemed very happy. When we arrived to pick her up she was fast asleep so clearly relaxed and tired from all her adventures at the beach! Wouldn't hesitate to book a stay with Alla again.”

“James took great care of disco and sent us regulars updates. He took him on long walks around the country park which he loved and made sure he had is medication every day. I’d encourage anyone who needs a hands on sitter to book with James. ☺️”

“Very happy with Emily and her gorgeous doggy Sarge! Berni was happy and had lots of lovely walks. Emily is a lovely person, also kept me updated and was very attentive. Already booked again!”

“Rebecca was an amazing dog boarding found in Rover. She took care of Ivy as yours. She spent time with her and bring her to the beach and on the park. She update me with photos regulary. I can definetely reccomend her to other owner. I collected my girl that she was relaxed and happy. Thank you as well all members of the family of Rebecca that they demonstrate love and care for Ivy. An amazing family!!!!”

“Second time having Chester and Barney. They ar ever happy and comfortable with Patrick. Patrick was also very accommodating when we needed to do an earlier pick up due to an injury of my Husband.”

“Great communication, for which i was very grateful as i was a little worried about leaving him. I shouldn’t have worried though as Max was well looked after and i could tell he enjoyed his stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch again for future trips.”
