About: Hello ☺️, I’m an experienced dog and cat sitter with 3+ years caring for dogs and cats, I’m also qualified in animal management and have recently completed my BSc (Hons) Zoology degree. I love all animals and I have lots of experience working with them. I have worked at a doggy daycare in the past and have provided services on rover since 2023. I also have experience with elderly dogs and dogs with special needs, my family dog had diabetes which required daily insulin injections. I also have plenty of experience administering eye drops too as he underwent cataract surgery. I have just finished university, so I have lots of time on my hands and my availability is fairly flexible. I offer services from 11am everyday. I offer at home visits where I visit your pet at your home during the day while you’re away and carry out all their daily care tasks which we will go over during a meet and greet before the booking starts.

About: I have been around dogs all my life, from big to small. I’ve looked after families dogs plenty of times, one which requires diabetic medication and care. In october 2024, I took on a dog that required extra care and attention due to anxiety and being abused as a pup. I work as a TA with flexible hours. Due to the nature of my job, I only work 1-3 days a week which means I can be readily available when needed. I have a large fenced garden with double doors that open onto it, and I am happy to leave the doors open for air flow and to allow the dog freedom of being inside or outside. I can crate if required.

About: I've grown up in a pet friendly house caring and looking after every type of animal, from cats, dogs, rodents and birds, any shape or size animal was welcomed in our house. I currently work part time as I'm a uni student so I have plenty of time to look after pets, even on days I work I have plenty of time to spare. I currently live in an apartment but with access to a shared garden and massive field. Plenty of walking opportunities for dogs and lots of attention for cats.

About: As a pet owner myself I am an excellent sitter and I have also cared for friends and families pets while they have been away on holidays. I can provide your pets with the best quality of care as I would with my pets and keep them well entertained. Each experience with a pet has lend me to understand each pet individually so make sure they have a stress free time while you are away. I am currently away from home to attend University. I’m originally from Newcastle and have a couple of pets at home which I miss terribly but being a student in student living I am not allowed to get any sort of pets which is hard as I am pet lover. I joined this app to help pets feel comfort while you are away and for me to experience the enjoy of pets love again. I can help you provide and keep your pets on their schedules of their daily activities such as walk to stretch their legs and keep them active, being feed and water, play time and also a time to rest.

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

About: When I was younger, I asked for a dog every year at Christmas. I finally took matters into my own hands and got my first dog when I was 20, while still at university, and he (as well as his brother) is my best friend. I love long walks in nature and being surrounded by animals makes it even better. The most important thing for me in caring for animals is to be respectful and patient while ensuring all of their mental and physical needs are met. My youngest dog is nervous and, as a result, can be quite a handful. This has lead me to research dog psychology and gain a decent understanding of animal behaviour. I work full-time on a hybrid basis between home and the office so can be fairly flexible. I am desperate to get out for walks and spend time with animals, whatever day of the week it is. I generally take my dogs on a long walk once a day - I live in the countryside with lots of different routes - but I am able to be flexible in terms of exercise requirements as I know each dog is different. My dogs get other mental stimulation daily in the house/garden, including being scatter-fed, playing with toys and chews, and training obedience. The safety and happiness of animals in my care is my priority. I will always be considerate of instructions you give me as you know your pet best, and I will be sure to communicate to make sure everyone is as happy as can be. For all services that I offer, your pets will be treated as if they were my own. That said, I understand different pets have different routines and their routine and routine can be vital to allow them to feel comfortable and safe. I will work with you and your pet to understand what suits everyone best. If your pet is at my home, your pet will be provided with many different areas to relax as well as toys and other stimulation. I have an enclosed yard which provides some good sniffing spots. I can accommodate frequent toilet breaks if needed, for example younger or older dogs.

About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. If I stayed in your home you could rest assured I know how to look after a home. I have been married for over 40 years. I have an acre garden so grass cutting does not faze me either.

About: I am a full time professional dog walker which I have multiple dogs all different breeds and temperament's in my care on a daily basis I currently work part time so I have a lot of free time to look after your furry babies and give them the best possible care. About: I've always loved caring for animals, which only increased when I got my first dog 12 years ago. She has taught me patience, companionship and the skill of training a puppy! Since then I've cared for friends and family's pets and in the last 2 years started walking and pet-sitting dogs in my local area; so with experience comes confidence of adapting to each dog's needs and catering to the owner, who knows their dog the best! About: I have been pet and house sitting for the past 11 years with Jane. We started in Australia and travelled the world sitting for owners. I have had dogs all my life and experienced multiple dogs at the same time. We have looked after a range of different dogs from small to large. Recently we've completed several Animal Care course in first aid and behaviour. Our experience We are non smoking, polite couple who take care of the things around us. About: I've taken care of and fed and played with and walked dogs my while life and I have had cats my whole life to and... I'm currently not working so I have plenty of time to work with cats or dogs or both for a very low price and a I have 2 dogs of my own so I would only be able to take care of dogs and cats in someone else's home or I could walk the dogs outside

About: I have experience with everything from daily care routines and special dietary needs to administering medications. I’ll care for your pets with love and attention, just as if they were my own, and make sure they get plenty of engaging playtime. I work from home, so I’m available for drop-in visits/walks in the morning, at lunch, or in the afternoon/evening. I’m even more flexible with timing on weekends.
