Calm and caring cat sitter.
I have looked after a total of 7 family cats over 40+ years, as well as many cats through cat sitting Assignments. I will give your cat(s) food and water, medication and clean out litter trays as well as providing cuddles, companionship or space according to each cat's needs. I treat each cat as an individual and spend time getting to know each one. I have looked after: - rescue cats - mama cat with young kittens - weaned kittens - elderly cats of 15-20 years - cats of all ages - deaf cats - a cat blind in one eye - cats requiring liquid or tablet medication - nervous cats and friendly cats - cats who want cuddles and those who want space - indoor and outdoor cats - cats who sleep a lot and those who hunt and bring back 'presents' - cats that need to be taken to vets for pre-booked appointments - cats eating dry food / wet food / both - single cats or up to four cats in a household. If you don't see your cat's needs in this list, please ask - I've looked after many cats with different needs and am always willing to add new experiences to my list. I can also look after other pets (not dogs) such as rabbits, fish and chickens, water the plants, take in deliveries and do errands.

I look after cats in the owner's home as l believe cats benefit from being in their own surroundings. I will give the cat(s) food and water as per the owner's instructions, clean and change litter trays, let the cat(s) in and out of the house or not (as instructed), keep the surroundings clean and tidy and provide company, cuddles and their toys according to each cat's character and requirements.
Ratings and reviews
We were really happy with the care our cat Vera received from Vanessa. Vera was visited every day at the agreed time and Vanessa spent time playing with Vera and keeping her company. We received photo updates and a quick report about how she was getting on. When we returned from our trip away Vera was settled and content, having been well looked after.
Vanessa was great at looking after my cat and very trustworthy. My cat seemed to like her a lot so i will be booking her again
I feel completley at ease, knowing that I have left the care of my 2 cats in the hands of Vanessa. I can go away, and know that they are in caring hands. Thank you.
Vanessa took wonderful care of Rumi while I was away. She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated after every visit with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Rumi’s wellbeing and made sure she was fed, comfortable, and had some company during each visit. Coming home to a happy, relaxed kitten was the best reassurance that she had been well looked after. I would happily book Vanessa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.
Amazing. My 3 cats were so happy and looked after. Daily updates and photos were sent and so reassuring everything was ok!
Vanessa was fantastic at looking after our cats while we were away!! Vanessa sent loads of photos, videos and updates which made us feel very comfortable.

Schedule
Daily visits - I am able to do morning visits, late afternoon visits or evening visits - or morning and late afternoon or morning and evening visits. Overnight bookings - l like to have evening meals with my own family, so would generally arrive at an overnight booking after 7pm and will leave after the cat(s) have been tended to and depending on my plans for the day, after my own breakfast. I would not generally stay during the day but am happy to be around to receive deliveries if l can.
- CatsVanessa can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your cat is friendly or not, whether they have particular food preferences and what medication they have. I try to have at least one meet up in advance of the booking so that we (me, owner, cats) can see if we suit each other and to chat about the cat(s) and the owner's requirements.
