“Ruth was friendly, thorough, approachable and very kind and caring with our two Shih Tzu dogs, she looked after them in our home for a long weekend and nothing was too much trouble. Both dogs loved her and her enthusiasm. She ensured that they had a good daily walk with some time to enjoy grassy areas too, and ensured that they ate a varied diet, even though it meant her having to chop up fruit and vegetables to add to sliced meat. The dogs were relaxed in her company and both looked clean, brushed and happy upon our return. We received daily updates and photos on what our pups had been up to during the day, including food, exercise and playing with toys. Our home was well looked after and respected. About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8, growing up with a Jack Russell cross and a Staffy, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I often look after my friends golden retrievers so also used to being around larger dogs. I now have my own 2-year-old British Shorthair, Mimi, who is neutered and very much part of the family. My partner has also grown up around a variety of animals, so we both have plenty of experience and genuinely enjoy being around pets.
