“This was the first time we used Jessica, and we were not disappointed. From the messages before the visit to the care and photo updates while we were away, everything was excellent. Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”

If your dog is boarding i will make sure im in contact with you, just to make sure that your dog is settled in my home and well looked after. Unfortunately my dogs have passed away,i owned 2 Labradors and a beagle, i have no children at home just myself and husband. Im available all weekdays to board or just daily sitting, & the odd weekends when im at home, i would take maximum of 2 dogs at a time. I have Secure gardens front and back, so you know the dogs will be safe, your dog will be played with in my garden and i have lots of balls/ toys/ they will be entertained with.

About: I have been around pets all my life! I am a registered complex needs carer who currently works in the care sector, but I would like to care for animals fulltime as I do enjoy walking especially with dogs! I have a caring nature and I like to be physically active in all weathers! I have owned dogs, cats throughout my life. My current work allows me to select my own working schedule and therefore im in charge of my own time management. I would like to pet sit fulltime. Although I live on a busy road im fortunate to have a good sized garden which is completely walled. My home is secure and a good size. I live alone and I'm a non smoker and enjoy the company of animals. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand the needs of anxious dogs. I have experience of caring for adults in their own home and im cleaning and tidy and respectful of people's own homes. I have looked after friends dogs while they go on holiday. I'm happy to adapt walks to suit the needs of the pet - long hikes, medium walks or quick walkies! I can drive in my estate car to secure locations, hire a dog field or just walk locally. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

I’m lucky to have access to a lovely river loop walk, open fields nearby, and regular trips to Thornborough Henges, which is fully fenced and perfect for safe exploring. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment throughout the day. They’re more than welcome to join me in my home office — keeping me company as the “office dog” for the day. I’ve had dogs all my life and recently lost my beautiful black Labrador, Ralph, in January. While I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, I would love to open my home to yours and give them the same love and care. My aim is to provide a true “home away from home” — dogs are welcome to relax freely in the house and garden, and be part of a safe, comfortable environment. I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company and care. I can only accept bookings when I’m working from home. I only take one dog at a time. Dogs are treated like family and I like them to feel relaxed, with free roam, sofas, beds, a garden fully secure, and countryside walks.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, but my passion for training really took off when i rescued a Spaniel x Beagle. He started out reactive to other dogs, with no recall and a habit of disappearing after anything that moved. Through daily training and hundreds of hours of learning, I transformed him into a confident, social dog with reliable off-lead freedom, excellent recall, and advanced obedience. That journey gave me a genuine passion for helping dogs learn and building their confidence. I now volunteer every week at a dog rescue, working with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling everything from nervous and reactive dogs to strong pullers and high-energy working breeds. Whether your dog simply needs a fun walk, plenty of attention and a home away from home, or would benefit from some extra work on recall, lead manners, general obedience or behavioural issues during their stay, I’d love to help. I genuinely enjoy training and am happy to take on dogs that need a little extra guidance. We also have private, secure land, giving dogs a safe space to exercise and train away from distractions when needed. I work full time from home so always able to keep an eye on dogs. Normally the day starts with a walk round the fields/local paths. Then we settle down, few 5 min spurs of obedience training through the day and then a big afternoon walk. Evening will maybe have a small additional walk or some training. We have a fenced garden, fenced private fields - all possible escape routes have been found and fixed thanks to our escape artist. My dog is always around - he’s a beagle x spaniel full of energy.

About: My first job as a teenager was walking and sitting neighborhood dogs and I’ve lived with cats, dogs and other animals my whole life. I now volunteer at a rescue and vet practice and study pet first aid too I usually work weekdays from 10am-5:30pm so all visits will be after 5:30. For overnights I will arrive around 6-7pm and leave in the morning around 9:30am. I am able to do multiple drop ins after work and depending on location I can do early morning visits too. Walks are always on afternoons unless it’s a weekend. I am a very laid back person who has a calm and approachable nature with animals. I am trained in safe handling of animals, pet first aid and have years of experience dealing with all types of pets. You can count on me to always be attentive, calm and in control.

I can support basic training habits (sit, stay, lead manners) and I’m happy to send frequent updates so you feel confident while you’re away. I work remotely, so I’m at home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention, comfort and supervision. This means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine for feeding, toilet breaks, play and rest. I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times (with notice), and I’m available for weekday and weekend bookings depending on dates. Because I work from home, pets are not left alone for long periods and are supervised throughout the day. I keep a calm, safe home environment and follow your instructions closely (feeding routine, walking preferences, medication, and house rules). I’m careful with doors and safety checks, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I have looked after dogs/puppies since my Sons left home 10 years ago. I am very trustworthy and treat all dogs as if they are part of my family. I simply love all dogs. I can also arrange dog grooming while they stay with me, a job less for you. My location where I live is perfect and safe for all dogs. I only take dogs from one household at any time so that they get my undivided attention. You are welcome to arrange to visit my home before confirming any bookings. I am retired and can spend all day/night looking after your dogs. I live in a fabulous location surrounded by fields this allows for some great walks. My house is a detatched house located in the middle of fields. My garden is fenced in with dry stone walling. The ground floor of my house is floor boarding and tiles so very practical for dog caring.

About: Since childhood, I have always had a family dog, so being around and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. I’ve been volunteering most weekends at Holly Hedge Dog Sanctuary, whenever my work schedule allows. During my time there, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of dogs, each with different personalities and needs. This experience has not only shown my love for animals but has also helped me develop a strong confidence in looking after dogs and understanding their behavior. “Holly took great care of Pepper at very short notice due to a family member being ill. She was extremely accommodating and caring and thoughtful. Holly kindly sent lots of updates and photos of Pepper having the time of his life during his stay. He had the best time - running around with his ball, playing with Gary the Gull, meeting and playing with his new buddy Ronnie, swimming at Easby Abbey. I knew Pepper was in extremely capable hands from the moment I dropped him off. He was immediately at ease and that had a huge impact on me. “This was the first time we used Jessica, and we were not disappointed. From the messages before the visit to the care and photo updates while we were away, everything was excellent. Boris, being a bulldog, has specific food requirements and a set routine, which Jessica and her family adapted to perfectly. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. Boris does not like the car and we always have trouble on collection but Jessica’s husband helped get Boris in the car with care, he is now snuggled up having had his favourite dinner , doing his favourite hobby of snoozing 💤”

I often look after my friends and family's dog whenever they need me, i live around lots of fields , so there is plenty of places to walk and explore to exercise your dog. If your dog is boarding i will make sure im in contact with you, just to make sure that your dog is settled in my home and well looked after. Unfortunately my dogs have passed away,i owned 2 Labradors and a beagle, i have no children at home just myself and husband. Im available all weekdays to board or just daily sitting, & the odd weekends when im at home, i would take maximum of 2 dogs at a time. I have Secure gardens front and back, so you know the dogs will be safe, your dog will be played with in my garden and i have lots of balls/ toys/ they will be entertained with.

About: I have been around pets all my life! I am a registered complex needs carer who currently works in the care sector, but I would like to care for animals fulltime as I do enjoy walking especially with dogs! I have a caring nature and I like to be physically active in all weathers! I have owned dogs, cats throughout my life. My current work allows me to select my own working schedule and therefore im in charge of my own time management. I would like to pet sit fulltime. Although I live on a busy road im fortunate to have a good sized garden which is completely walled. My home is secure and a good size. I live alone and I'm a non smoker and enjoy the company of animals. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand the needs of anxious dogs. I have experience of caring for adults in their own home and im cleaning and tidy and respectful of people's own homes. I have looked after friends dogs while they go on holiday. I'm happy to adapt walks to suit the needs of the pet - long hikes, medium walks or quick walkies! I can drive in my estate car to secure locations, hire a dog field or just walk locally. I live in a lovely town and have access to beautiful countryside on my doorstep. I understand owners can have particular routines for their pets and im more than happy to keep to routines.

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs near enough all my life, whether that’s for friends, family or colleagues and dogs ranging from working cockers and springers to Irish terriers to German Shepherds, puppies too. I’m an active person with fields and walks a stones throw, also a fenced back garden and no other pets. Any needs for your dog I’m happy to discuss and accommodate as best as I can. I’m currently full time, however some days working from home and when I’m not I only work 10 minutes from home so can regularly pop in if I’m not already at home. Dogs have free roam to the ground floor of my house and fenced garden. Preferably dogs crate trained, however happy to accommodate if not. But dogs are not allowed upstairs so they will need to be happy sleeping by themselves downstairs if boarding.

About: Throughout my whole life, i have grown up with all sorts of animals from dogs and cats to alpacas! I have 3 dogs in my family home who i help look after alongside my mum and have quite a flexible job which would allow me to look after other peoples dogs too. I have dealt with all types of personalities from agressive/nervous/reactive dogs to crazy/frantic/excited ones! And i love them all. Willing to take on anything and give them the best walks/visits with lots of attention. I'm currently working Monday to Friday in Summerbridge where the hours are flexible therefore able to walk/visit dogs during my lunch break (1hour), before work and after. If needed i can leave at anytime. I have lots and lots of private land! Unlimited running around in a fenced area - perfect for dogs who can't be let off the lead regularly. Also have a kennel area but most dogs would be in the house with my other 3.

We have a warm, dog-loving family home where every dog is treated like part of the family. I live with my husband, our two university-aged children and our 4-year-old daughter, who is gentle and respectful around animals. We have a fully fenced, secure garden with plenty of space to explore, play and relax safely. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so that every pet receives plenty of individual attention, care and affection.
