She house sits for me when I go away and I know my dogs in safe hands she also walks my dog on evenings and weekends when I am working, and is always available. I wouldn’t have anybody else looking after my dog I couldn’t recommend her more!!”

About: I grew up always having a dog in the family, my mum still has a Labrador now - the beautiful Tilly! But as I no longer live at home I don’t get the joy of a dogs company as much as I’d like! I love to get out for a walk during the day in between working and as sad as it sounds bumping into dogs on route is a highlight of my day!! I’d treat your dog with care and as if he/she is my own - just like a member of the family as that’s exactly what dogs are! I work from home 3/4 days per week so fitting pet care into this will be easy! I try to get out for a walk most days so I can easily incorporate dog walks into my day, or dog sitting in my house! I enjoy chilled weekends after working all week so more often than not I am around on weekends with no plans so can happily look after a dog across weekends too! I have a spacious house so there’s plenty of space for a dog to roam around, equally my office room is big enough to put a dog bed in if your dog wants to snooze the afternoon away whilst I’m working!

About: I’ve never been without a dog throughout my life, and we’ve always been happy to host friends pups as well :) I’m a lover of long walks out in nature and cuddles on the sofa (probably why my lurcher and I get along so well), although I’m happy to spend the time doing whatever takes your furry friends fancy. I’ve looked after friends and family’s dogs for over 5 years and have experience with horses and other farm animals. I work daily from 0830 till 1630 but usually have a long lunch, start late Mondays and finish early Fridays. I’m available the majority of weekends, if your dog needs lots of exercise we should be quick friends heading out for longer walks or runs. Equally I can enjoy a spin around the block on a slower day. I’ll look after your pet in the comforts of their own home, respecting yours and their space and ensuring that it stays tidy and clean for your return home.

“Leah and her boyfriend Fletcher regularly dogsit at our family farm. She has been an employee of mine for years now but our relationship extends way beyond the workplace environment. We regularly see them on a social level, we don’t just solely expect them to look after our farm. Despite there being 30 years between us in age, I consider Leah and Fletcher best friends of ours and I wouldn’t leave the safety and care of all my animals in the hands of anyone else. Our dogs in particular don’t take instantly to anyone and bark regularly at any guests visiting, even my sisters and sons, but with Leah it’s a different story. They don’t bark or hide and they even fight to sit on her lap the second she sits down which is totally unheard of. My husband and I were rightfully taken aback the first time this happened and from that point I just knew the subconscious bond she has with animals. About: I've taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and look after there pets. I love animals and appreciate all the time spent with them. I enjoy taking long walks outside and exploring new parts of nature. I work part-time on Saturday and Sunday at an art shop in Skipton. I am free at any time during the day on Mondays to Fridays. I care for animals by being attentive to their individual needs. I like to take dogs on long walks and I try to change up the location every now and again. That way the dog can get as much stimulation as it needs to feel happy and not get bored. When I'm pet sitting, I take care to follow their routine. Dogs and cats are usually a bit sad/confused when their owners have gone away. I try to spend as much time with them and play with them to keep them stimulated and happy.
