About: My family has cared for dogs for 15 years, and I have fostered and adopted rescue dogs (I have my own now, Tanner, who is very friendly.) I regularly help friends and colleagues with canine care and due to my love and appreciation for animals love doing this as much as possible. I adore all animals and will regularly go out on adventures with my own dog. I am familiar with training dogs with difficult behavioural issues and leash training due to my own experiences with rescue dogs I am studying in Scotland but travel each month. I will take care of your homes, belongings and pets as well as providing so much love, play time and any training requirements you need - no matter the size of the dog/cat/any animal!

“Leah and her boyfriend Fletcher regularly dogsit at our family farm. She has been an employee of mine for years now but our relationship extends way beyond the workplace environment. We regularly see them on a social level, we don’t just solely expect them to look after our farm. Despite there being 30 years between us in age, I consider Leah and Fletcher best friends of ours and I wouldn’t leave the safety and care of all my animals in the hands of anyone else. Our dogs in particular don’t take instantly to anyone and bark regularly at any guests visiting, even my sisters and sons, but with Leah it’s a different story. They don’t bark or hide and they even fight to sit on her lap the second she sits down which is totally unheard of. My husband and I were rightfully taken aback the first time this happened and from that point I just knew the subconscious bond she has with animals. “We found Lee through a recommendation and could not be more thrilled. We have returned from 2 weeks away, having never had house sitters before. Lee looked our two labradors, we had regular updates. They were highly professional, I mean on time and reliable and even managed to negotiate a significant event with ease, most of us would not have been able to manage through something unexpected like this. The house on our return was spotless and probably cleaner than when we left. We joke one of our labradors is anti-social and might spend the two weeks sitting by the front door but this was not the case and actually feel a little jealous he loved them so much! I currently have two sulking dogs now they have gone but they will be pleased we have booked them for next august”

About: I’ve had a lot of experience taking care of extended family’s pets ranging from puppies to senior dogs! I can help take care of all sizes, breeds and ages! I have a lot of patience and love taking care of any kind of animal! I’m young and love exercise so would provide them with with ample walks and time to get all their zoomies out! I have a lot of experience with medium-large dogs like Working Cocker Spaniels and Labradors so I’m used to dogs with lots of energy, I love working one on one with younger dogs to help them learn simple tricks like sitting, lying down and rolling over, training sessions can help with their stimulation and chilling them out. I work part-time at a cinema and my rota will come out every Tuesday but will usually have 3-4 days free of the week to take care of your buddy! I will update my availability every week to ensure enough time for everyone, I will take day of bookings as well if you are needing last minute help! I have a sizeable garden space which is enclosed by fences and gates so your buddy will be safe to roam around outside, along with excellent places around for walkies and even a nice indoor space for those couch potatoes who just love to chill by the fire! I can provide simple training for puppies if you’re wanting them to carry on learning new things when they’re not with you.

“Alyssia has looked after my 3 year old working cocker spaniel, Stan, on a number of occasions. Being a cocker spaniel Stan has a lot of energy, requiring a lot of attention and lengthy walks. Due to Stan’s boundless energy and tendency to run quite far on walks, there are few people I would trust with him but I do trust Alyssia. She has always been able to meet the needs of Stan, taking him out and allowing him to charge around off lead whilst also being responsible and judging when it is appropriate for him to be back on his lead. Alyssia always strikes the balance of giving Stan the attention he needs whilst knowing when to give him the space and time to calm down. Something which is essential with working cocker spaniels. Stan is always happy and excited to see Alyssia, bringing his toys to greet her. I would recommend Alyssia to friends and family going forward. She is friendly, trustworthy and reliable and has allowed me to navigate my hybrid working pattern.”

“Alysha is an absolute dream! She stayed at our house for a couple of nights with her lovely mum to look after our dog Stanley. He’s a big bouncy staffy but I knew he was in capable hands as soon as I met Alysha and Helen. I was reassured from the minute they arrived and Stanley instantly loved them. Alysha and Helen are friendly, warm, kind and super reassuring. It’s the first time Stanley had been left with anyone that wasn’t family but never did I feel worried, he’s had the best time with them. They made sure they knew everything about Stanley before we left, including food, walks, how he is with other dogs etc. Alysha sent pictures and stayed in touch the whole time we were away. When we got home the house was clean, tidy and we even had a little cheesecake for our arrival back! Super kind! We will 100% be recommending Alysha & we will definitely stay in touch & book again. About: I've taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and look after there pets. I love animals and appreciate all the time spent with them. I enjoy taking long walks outside and exploring new parts of nature. I work part-time on Saturday and Sunday at an art shop in Skipton. I am free at any time during the day on Mondays to Fridays. I care for animals by being attentive to their individual needs. I like to take dogs on long walks and I try to change up the location every now and again. That way the dog can get as much stimulation as it needs to feel happy and not get bored. When I'm pet sitting, I take care to follow their routine. Dogs and cats are usually a bit sad/confused when their owners have gone away. I try to spend as much time with them and play with them to keep them stimulated and happy.
