About: I have grown up with dogs and have cared for them throughout my life, including dogs belonging to friends and family. My experience includes walking, feeding, overnight stays and looking after dogs in my home for several weeks at a time. My wife and I would love to have a dog of our own, but our current circumstances do not allow us to make that permanent commitment. Boarding gives us the opportunity to enjoy the company of different dogs while giving each one a calm, comfortable and attentive stay. We are both relaxed, patient and happy to adapt to each dog’s personality and established routine. My main motivation is simply to spend time with dogs and give them an enjoyable stay. Any earnings I receive after Rover’s fees will be donated to Dogs Trust. I run my own business and have a great deal of flexibility in how I organise my time, while my wife is retired, so someone is always at home. I enjoy walking and would naturally organise the day around the dog, with regular toilet breaks, a morning walk and a longer walk later in the day. I am also very happy to follow the dog’s normal routine. Our home is calm, clean, spacious and dog-friendly. We live in a large flat with a covered, dog-friendly balcony and access to an approximately half-acre, fully fenced grassy outdoor area for supervised toilet breaks, fresh air and play. About: I have taken care of many of my friends dogs whilst they go on holiday(s) over the last 5 years. This has included two beautiful, high energy spaniels and older Dachshunds. I work from home and have a spaniel myself so I’m constantly out and about making sure they have the best day. I wake up around 5.45 on week days and take George (my spaniel) on a nice 5k walk along the canal. I work from home so will get my morning meetings out of the way, let George out in the back yard in between. I usually walk to the local park at lunch which is around 2.5k round trip. And after work, depending on what I have planned we usually are out and about places. Quick walk around the block just before we go to bed. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room in the kitchen to keep a cage. A ring camera that overlooks into the kitchen for if I need to nip out to the shops. And George is the most loving companion, he has been so socialised since I’ve had him that he loves having other dogs over for sleepovers.

Owners are usually shocked I live alone with my doggy Bella who is a lovely friendly Cavalier. I work a few hours doing voluntary work so I’m around 24/7. If you are booking please work on a drop off/pick up time that matches within reason. Although I am available at you first asking it is not a definite booked unless payed to Rover and will be marked as still available till then. I do not get paid for any booking till after it has been completed. I live in a quiet area and I have a fenced back garden. About: Hi, I'm Lauren, and caring for dogs isn't just something I do, it's something I genuinely love. I've spent years building my knowledge and experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I'm currently training to be qualified in animal care, welfare and behaviour, experienced with puppy training, confident handling large and energetic breeds, and I understand that every dog has their own routine, quirks and needs. I share my home with my own rescue dog, William, who has taught me more than any textbook ever could. I've always rescued dogs and have had all kinds of breeds from greyhounds and cavaliers to staffies and papillons. Through training, socialisation and everyday adventures, I've developed a calm, patient approach that helps dogs feel safe, secure and relaxed while they're in my care. A typical day with me includes up to two enjoyable walks of up to an hour each through the beautiful woodlands and countryside right on my doorstep. If your dog isn't able to go for long walks, I'll provide plenty of alternative enrichment, gentle play and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I believe a dog's wellbeing is about much more than physical exercise. That's why I incorporate a healthy balance of walks, interactive play, enrichment activities and rest throughout the day, ensuring every dog returns home content, relaxed and fulfilled, both mentally and physically. Our living room opens directly onto a spacious, fully enclosed and secure rear garden through large patio doors, giving dogs easy access to a safe outdoor space where they can play, explore and enjoy fresh air throughout the day. Inside, dogs are free to relax and settle wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that's stretching out in the living room, curling up on a cosy bed or snoozing in their favourite spot. Every stay is tailored to your dog's individual routine, preferences and needs, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed and completely at home while in my care.
About: I’ve taken care of/ owned lots of doggos, love walking and I have a lot of love for all kinds of dogs, I grew up with Rottweilers so not afraid of big doggy’s and only work part time so any dogs that stay will be with me all day and get lots of love. Only willing to have the one pup when my crazy spaniel is home but happy to have two when she’s away so I can put my full love and attention into the dogs and so your dog won’t get overwhelmed. I’ve looked after senior dogs and puppies so used to the chaos of them both!!! I’ve got a lot of love to give and hope you put your trust in me to take your furr baby we will both keep each other company while my partner is away ❤️ I Work half a day Friday and a full day Saturday but can take dogs from Saturday evening after 5:30 pm contact me if you would need dog care on those days in advance and I might be able to take them on a Saturday :) Our spaniel is taken out for a walk morning and evening and let out early morning and late night we don’t have a garden but we are in the middle of the Yorkshire dale and have a park over the road from us so toilet time isn’t hard we also take our pup to doggy fields a lot to let of steam which will happen if your dog stays with us

About: I have looked after a variety of dogs and my 2 fur babies are a Siberian Husky, who loves to play with other dogs and a Patterdale Terrier, who just loves to be warm and cosy under the covers! I have great areas around me for dog walking and my house and garden are fully secure. I love having cuddles with dogs and I am happy to share my bedroom or bed with dogs if they are used to this and it makes them feel more secure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am available at weekends to look after your fur babies starting from Friday evening to Sunday evening. I will also be available more in school holidays as I work as a teacher. I have a fenced secure garden and house. They will be treated as part of the family. I am flexible in terms of what your dog needs.

About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and great retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my boxer cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.
