“Lauren and family were absolutely amazing! They had shadow for a week while we were on our holidays and we got regular daily updates of her having the absolute best time. I cannot recommend these guys enough.”

“Using Rover for the first time we were a little anxious to say the least but Baz instantly put our minds at ease, having someone look after your dog who is so passionate and caring towards dogs really put our minds at ease. It was great getting updates from Baz during our boys stay, it made us smile knowing he was having the best time!! If you’re after someone who is caring, passionate and kind to look after your dog then look no further than Baz and his family!!”

About: We’ve had dogs in our family for over 20 years, from Border Collies and King Charles Spaniels to our much-loved Labrador, who we sadly lost recently. Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, and Rover feels like a lovely way to keep dogs in our home while offering a safe, loving place for other people’s fur babies. We are fully licensed, insured and DBS checked, so you can feel confident that your dog will be cared for in a safe, responsible and professional home environment. We live in the beautiful village of Cowling, close to the Yorkshire Dales and surrounded by lovely countryside walks. As we are at home throughout the day, your dog will have company, care and attention, with someone around to help them feel settled and relaxed. Your dog will be treated as part of the family, with plenty of companionship, walks, home comforts and love. We know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone new, so we’ll always take time to understand their routine, personality and any special requirements before their stay. “Second stay for Bruce with Marnie & Eddie, he had a fabulous time. He’s cared for so well. Love the regular updates of what he’s been up to each day. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of many of my friends dogs whilst they go on holiday(s) over the last 5 years. This has included two beautiful, high energy spaniels and older Dachshunds. I work from home and have a spaniel myself so I’m constantly out and about making sure they have the best day. I wake up around 5.45 on week days and take George (my spaniel) on a nice 5k walk along the canal. I work from home so will get my morning meetings out of the way, let George out in the back yard in between. I usually walk to the local park at lunch which is around 2.5k round trip. And after work, depending on what I have planned we usually are out and about places. Quick walk around the block just before we go to bed. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room in the kitchen to keep a cage. A ring camera that overlooks into the kitchen for if I need to nip out to the shops. And George is the most loving companion, he has been so socialised since I’ve had him that he loves having other dogs over for sleepovers.

About: After losing my own boy, my cockapoo, Alfie, suddenly in August, I never thought I’d be able to open my heart or home to another dog so soon. But a part of me feels like it’s missing and whilst I’m not ready to commit to another one of my own, I have so much love to give to other people’s fur babies. I feel that whilst helping other families with doggy day care and/or dog sitting, I can help my heart heal at the same time. I am a paramedic and work shifts, meaning I often have mid-week days off and blocks of rest days at a time. My working hours allow a good range of availability and my role demonstrates my professionalism, compassion and reliability. I am a responsible dog lover who will invite your furry friend into my home, care for them like they are my own and keep them safe until you they return home. Please feel free to reach out if you think I may be suitable for your needs. I am a paramedic and work shifts, meaning I have blocks of days off, both weekends and weekdays. I am offering dog sitting services, through the day or overnight on my rest days so I can fully commit my day/night to your fur baby and have lots of fun. I have a large and interesting fenced garden in a rural location with lots of amazing local walks. My garden is secure with lots to explore and as I would only be having one dog at a time (or two from the same household) your dog would get full roam of the garden and our undivided attention.
“Sophie is a life saver. She agreed to take care of my dogs as a replacement sitter for an urgent situation that happened while I am away abroad. She described my dogs as easy to handle, while I know that Russell (who is almost 17 yo) is sometimes not very easy. Sophie is patient and understands the need of a senior dog. She is a very reliable, responsible sitter. Thank you so much.”
“This was Bella’s first stay with Sam a trial run following her previous sitters emigration, Bella took a little while to settle in but then was really relaxed sunbathing in front of the window and had a great run in the field. She got on really well with Rocky and they chased each other around. We were kept up to date with messages and videos of Bella’s stay all in all a successful trial and have now booked for Sam and Max to look after Bella while we were away.”

“Amy was brilliant, so welcoming and great communication start to finish. Goose clearly felt happy and he was the calmest he's been when we've picked him up from anywhere! Absolutely would recommend and we'll be booking again in the future 😊”

“Sweep loves staying with Sophie and Adam. They look after him really well and provide us with regular updates so we can relax and enjoy our holiday knowing sweep is happy.”

“Another great trip for Hazel in her home from home (her third stay with Leah-Dionne now). She always looks so healthy and happy when I pick her up, and while we all miss her, we know she's having the best time. She even now has a boyfriend in Stanley, one of Leah's pugs 😍😆”

“Jordan, her partner and her three gorgeous dogs are absolutely perfect sitters! Jordan made sure she really got to know our dog before he stayed with her, and as a result we felt so comfortable leaving him with them. Communication was amazing, and we received lots of photos of our dog during his stay. He was so sad to leave! We will definitely be using Jordan's services again :) thank you!”

“Katie was friendly and instantly made Teddy feel relaxed . Her communication was brilliant and she was very gracious and accommodating with Teddy’s needs . I went away feeling confident my dog was in good hands . Thanks Katie I would highly recommend!”

“My GSP had a great stay with Daisy and was well looked after which was evident from the photo updates of her running around on walks and relaxing and settled in at home too. Would recommend”

About: I've grown up with pets and had animals in my house for the majority of my life. Until recently I had a wonderful Labrador who unfortunately passed away in 2024, and I miss having a canine companion in the house whilst working from home and getting my daily walks in. I live with my wife and two children (aged 8 and 10), so any dogs I look after must be Ok with children. We also have a cat, but she will most likely be out and about during the day. I live in a development with plenty of walks and woodland to explore where we can keep well away from traffic and busy roads. Find more here: ........_dogs_best_friend_menston I work from home so I'm generally in for the most of the day. If I do go out it's usually only for an hour or two. I have a fenced private garden and plenty of green space and woodland in the local area to explore. I'll also be at home with your dog for the majority of the day. If your dog needs to have someone with them constantly, then this can be arranged on certain days subject to my availability.
“Alison was very caring and attentive to Rosies likes and dislikes. I was sent regular pictures during Rosies stay and Rosie although happy to see me on return, seemed very settled and content. Apologies to Alison though that Rosie found her laundry basket and pinched her socks!!. Would recommend 👌”
