About: Hi! We’re Minx and Lewis — your friendly neighbourhood pet-sitting duo based in Burnley. We’re a couple who basically run on caffeine, cuddles, and animal hair, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love doing every day. We offer both cat sitting and dog care, including walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and plenty of fuss (for those who want it — we fully respect the “look but don’t touch” crowd too). For Minx, cats are a long-time special interest — which means extra enthusiasm, extra attention to detail, and an uncanny ability to decode even the most “mysterious” feline behaviour. Lewis is just as experienced and confident with dogs, especially when it comes to walks, routine, and keeping tails wagging safely and happily. At home, we share our lives (and most of our bed) with our own two cats: Trico, our wise five-year-old gentleman, and Kyurem, our one-year-old chaotic goblin boy. They keep us humble… and very entertained. We’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over a decade, and professionally for the last four years. Whether it’s a shy cat who needs quiet company or an energetic dog who needs a good walk and play, we tailor our care to suit each animal’s personality and routine. We’re excited to bring our love, experience, and reliability to more pet families who want their animals cared for just as thoughtfully as we care for our own. We are both currently self employed, giving us the freedom of my own schedule! We anre available 24/7 for pet requests and care, as long as I have ample notice. Specific care requests for each home are taken into consideration, such as if there are baby gates installed to prevent animals from going into certain rooms etc. For all day visits for dogs, they never leave our sight, to ensure their utmost protection!

About: Dog lover doesn’t even cut it 🐕 My Grandma spent her life rehoming dogs of all kinds to the point of 20+ at any given time and my Mum is also a dog groomer with 20+ years of experience who currently has 8 dogs of her own. I’ve lived with, taken care of and owned dozens of different breeds throughout my life. So you could say that being a dog lover is in my blood! I regularly house sit for friends and family members, including the CEO of my business who owns a large farm with 3 dogs, 5 cats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and cows. She, like me, loves nothing more than her animals and puts her trust in me taking care of her beloved furry family members. If I am not free, she doesn’t go away, she doesn’t trust anyone else. Take a look through my gallery of photos and I hope my love and passion for dogs will be glaringly obvious! Your pets wellbeing is my upmost priority and I really hope to meet some of your furry family members very soon. I have a completely flexible full-time remote career on a working from home basis. I also have a full UK drivers license that I’ve had for over 12 years. I purchased my first home a couple of years ago. It is a semi-detached house with stairs and a fenced garden, we also keep the garden gate locked 90% of the time unless it’s bin day. I work from home so I am around all day to make sure they are well looked after and provide plenty of cuddles.

About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I work in Education and am also a student. I am often up early in the morning and would love to fit in some visits around work. I have flexible working and work from home benefits so I can work from your home with plenty of breaks, or do a half day at home and half at work. My weekends and evenings are mostly free so plenty of time then too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I like clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

About: I have a six year old German Shepherd and am well versed in taking care of larger dogs. I like to focus on enrichment and play. I work from home. So, I have plenty of free time and will gladly take any opportunity to get out the house! I am available most weekends, too. I am a responsible and organised person. I can follow instructions well and have good common sense. I will respect both you and your dog.

About: We have taken care of dogs and cats since we were both in our teens, we are both animal lovers and will treat your animals like they are our own. We have have both owned a number of different breeds from small dogs such as Jack Russell’s to big dogs like huskies and we have a lot of experience with staffy’s. We are both trained in basic doggie first aid and CPR as well as fully insured ⛑️ so you can rest assured your dogs are in safe hands. Pet sitting and walking is my full time job and my partner works part time so we are both available most of the time. We don’t walk on Sundays. I have a back tat that has high walls and a high fence. We have the best of both World as we do not currently live together so we can accommodate dogs that do not get on with other dogs as Ella can stay either of our homes. We are fully insured for Dog walking and pet sitting and we can provide the proof of this.

Lucas could not have done a better job from the moment we met him we were put at ease and confident in his abilities to care for our pets. He was tasked with looking after 3 delinquent doggies and a sphinx cat all with their own habits and quirky ways which did not deter him from saying yes! We were kept updated daily with photos and messages and even maps showing where he had taken the dogs for walks. Nothing was too much trouble he kept the house immaculate and watered the plants keeping them alive and well 🤣 We would 100% recommend Lucas to any prospective Rover clients 👌 Thank you ☺️”

About: Since I’ve been born I’ve always been around animals, that being dog and cats. I grew up with a husky and had him until he was 17, and I made the decision to get a little fur baby of my own Enzo. I have trained Enzo and he is now the most perfect little boy in the world. I have experience with other puppies and have had plenty of play dates with his best friend Archie who is currently 15 weeks old! Hi im Lauren, I work from home on Wednesdays and Thursdays so I am available every week both days & usually available most weekends. I am able do dog board at your home & dog walking/sitting I unfortunately don’t have the space at my house, but I am available to come to your home. I have my own dog so I am very aware of boundaries

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life, so I am very comfortable caring for and looking after pets on a daily basis. I currently have a dog and two cats who get along very well, creating a calm and safe home environment. This has given me ongoing experience managing different animal needs. Through helping care for dogs for family and friends, I have gained experience with different dog personalities and care requirements, including walking and feeding. I aim to create a calm and safe environment so that every dog feels comfortable in my care. I understand the importance of ensuring owners feel confident and reassured that their dog is being taken care of properly. I'm currently a university student home for the summer and I also work as bank staff at the hospital. This gives me a flexible schedule, meaning I have plenty of time during the week and weekends to take care of your dog! Being at home also means I have lots of additional support around me, helping to ensure your dog recieves the best care at all times. I have a fenced and secure garden where your dog can safely run around and play. I also have pets of my own, which provides your dog with some company while they're here. Where I am located, there is a woodland area just a 2-minute walk away with a variety of extensive walking routes away from busy roads, ensuring safe and enjoyable walks.
