Whether being chased through the park .. playing with toys in the garden or just simply sharing a bed for snuggles Paisley will welcome any dog BIG or small into our home!.. Thank you!.. We look forward to greeting our next guests!. As a seasonal gardener the time has come upon us when the weather is starting to change & with this so will my working schedule. “It was our first time using Carrie to look after our dog, Arlo. She sent lots of pictures and videos of Arlo & Bella playing in the fields together, gave plenty of updates and was always easy to contact. The house has been left spotlessly clean including bed sheets and towels all washed for our arrival which was not expected at all. I think she even bathed our dog too which again completely exceeded my expectations. I’ll be very grateful and happy to use Carrie again in the future and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much Carrie & Bella xx”

“Lucy looked after my dog Nala for the weekend. Lucy was great with her. She took her on long walks to many new places, which Nala loves. Lucy managed to keep my house clean, which is no mean feat given Nala loses more fur than I've ever seen. I was very happy with Lucy's services and would definitely book her again. Thank you Lucy for spoiling her while I was away x”

About: I’ve been a devoted pet owner for many years and currently share my home with Winnie, our much-loved Cavapoo, and two cats, Beau and Nero. Caring for animals has always been one of the greatest joys in my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and quirks. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care. That’s why I believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, affection and plenty of fuss! Winnie has epilepsy and requires daily medication, while Nero has asthma and needs a daily inhaler, so I have hands-on experience caring for pets with additional medical needs and following established care routines. I’m comfortable administering medication, recognising when something isn’t quite right and making sure pets feel safe, happy and reassured while you’re away. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, a play session, feeding, medication, cuddles on the sofa, or simply some company and reassurance, I’ll take the time to get to know their individual personality, routine and preferences. I understand that every pet is different. Some want endless games and adventures, while others prefer a quiet cuddle and a gentle ear scratch. Whatever makes your pet happiest, that’s exactly the care they’ll receive. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and content while you’re away. My aim is simple: to care for your pets as if they were my own, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe, loving and reliable hands. I’m currently available throughout the week and can offer flexible pet care to fit around your needs. I’ll ensure your pets maintain their normal routine and receive plenty of attention, affection and companionship. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any specific instructions carefully. I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medication and inhalers. Your pet’s safety, wellbeing and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect.
“We are so pleased to have found Mollie, she is great with our three rescue dogs, who each have very different needs in terms of energy and sociability. She is great at keeping us informed and communicating in general. Thanks for looking after our gang Mollie :)”

About: Me and my partner Shirley who is also setting up her own Rover/verification profile, just enjoy canine company and if we can make a few pennies along the way, whilst sharing the joys of them, then why not? We now have access to fields where there are no public access for demanding doggies, whilst also arranging both indoor and outdoor areas to cater for all dog types. These spaces are not small areas and offer plenty of scope for any dog willing to venture out. Your pet is as important to us as they are to you, we have 3, so we know how much love and care is required. For more info please just get in touch. we look firward to seeing you. I work as an hgv driver for aagencies and can choose my days/ times to suit both. However my aim is to be being out and about with bundles of paws, rather than stuck behind a steering wheel all day We can only do our best for you and your pet. It does not matter how much I write in this section, but a general chat and discussion about your needs would offfer all a better idea and hopefully more trusting fulfilment of needs for all.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Burnley walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Burnley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
