About: Hi! We’re Minx and Lewis — your friendly neighbourhood pet-sitting duo based in Burnley. We’re a couple who basically run on caffeine, cuddles, and animal hair, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love doing every day. We offer both cat sitting and dog care, including walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and plenty of fuss (for those who want it — we fully respect the “look but don’t touch” crowd too). For Minx, cats are a long-time special interest — which means extra enthusiasm, extra attention to detail, and an uncanny ability to decode even the most “mysterious” feline behaviour. Lewis is just as experienced and confident with dogs, especially when it comes to walks, routine, and keeping tails wagging safely and happily. At home, we share our lives (and most of our bed) with our own two cats: Trico, our wise five-year-old gentleman, and Kyurem, our one-year-old chaotic goblin boy. They keep us humble… and very entertained. We’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over a decade, and professionally for the last four years. Whether it’s a shy cat who needs quiet company or an energetic dog who needs a good walk and play, we tailor our care to suit each animal’s personality and routine. We’re excited to bring our love, experience, and reliability to more pet families who want their animals cared for just as thoughtfully as we care for our own. We are both currently self employed, giving us the freedom of my own schedule! We anre available 24/7 for pet requests and care, as long as I have ample notice. Specific care requests for each home are taken into consideration, such as if there are baby gates installed to prevent animals from going into certain rooms etc. For all day visits for dogs, they never leave our sight, to ensure their utmost protection!

About: I have taken care of dogs from a very young age. My family fostered dogs of all ages and breeds, meaning I have basically grown up around dogs. At home I have 2 dogs, a great dane cross and a greyhound whom i absolutely adore! I have several years of both basic and advanced training and am confident when handling and looking after dogs of all ages and need! I am currently on a gap year before studying veterinary medicine at university, so have plenty of time to care for and look after your furry babies! I work with each dog differently depending on their different needs, but care for them all the same! I can easily adapt to whatever you or your dog(s) want and still uphold a professional level of care.

About: I provide calm, attentive and individualised care for dogs in a quiet home environment overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with easy access to larger walking areas including Witton Park and Billing Woods. My background is in occupational therapy studies, which has shaped the way I approach dog care. I pay close attention to behaviour, routine, body language and individual needs rather than treating every dog the same way. Some dogs need more activity and engagement, others need a calmer and more predictable environment, and I adapt accordingly. I grew up with Cass, a Jack Russell, from childhood into my teens, which gave me an early understanding of canine behaviour and communication. More recently, I have gained additional hands-on experience helping care for dogs with varying temperaments and energy levels. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also value structure and calm routines. Walks are purposeful and suited to the individual dog, and evenings are generally relaxed and settled to help dogs feel secure and comfortable away from home. At the moment I am taking time away from my studies, which means I have the flexibility and availability to dedicate proper time and attention to the dogs in my care rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. I offer home boarding, walks, and house sitting, and I aim to create an environment where dogs feel safe, understood and well looked after. For first bookings, I prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can understand your dog’s routine, behaviour and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and settled. At the moment I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention, regular walks and a calm home environment throughout the day. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also adapt to dogs who prefer a slower pace and more routine-based care. I live in a quiet area overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with access to larger parks and woodland walking routes nearby. I take a calm, observant and individual approach to dog care, paying close attention to behaviour, routine and comfort levels. I also arrange meet-and-greets before bookings to help make sure everyone feels comfortable and the environment is a good fit.

About: We have taken care of dogs and cats since we were both in our teens, we are both animal lovers and will treat your animals like they are our own. We have have both owned a number of different breeds from small dogs such as Jack Russell’s to big dogs like huskies and we have a lot of experience with staffy’s. We are both trained in basic doggie first aid and CPR as well as fully insured ⛑️ so you can rest assured your dogs are in safe hands. Pet sitting and walking is my full time job and my partner works part time so we are both available most of the time. We don’t walk on Sundays. I have a back tat that has high walls and a high fence. We have the best of both World as we do not currently live together so we can accommodate dogs that do not get on with other dogs as Ella can stay either of our homes. We are fully insured for Dog walking and pet sitting and we can provide the proof of this.

I also ensure their bedding and living area are clean, monitor their behavior and health, and give attention based on each pet’s personality and needs.

“Lucas was new to Rover and stepped in last minute when our original house and pet sitter had to cancel. Lucas could not have done a better job from the moment we met him we were put at ease and confident in his abilities to care for our pets. He was tasked with looking after 3 delinquent doggies and a sphinx cat all with their own habits and quirky ways which did not deter him from saying yes! We were kept updated daily with photos and messages and even maps showing where he had taken the dogs for walks. Nothing was too much trouble he kept the house immaculate and watered the plants keeping them alive and well 🤣 We would 100% recommend Lucas to any prospective Rover clients 👌 Thank you ☺️”

About: I have had my own dogs personally since i was five years old. I have grown up around dogs and also looked after family and friends dogs also. I am currently working part time so i have plenty of availability and time needed to look after them. I’m also available most weekend and evenings. I have a fenced garden that has plenty of space and a sausage dog named Colin who loves the company and loves to play with other dogs.

About: Since I’ve been born I’ve always been around animals, that being dog and cats. I grew up with a husky and had him until he was 17, and I made the decision to get a little fur baby of my own Enzo. I have trained Enzo and he is now the most perfect little boy in the world. I have experience with other puppies and have had plenty of play dates with his best friend Archie who is currently 15 weeks old! About: I’ve had lots of pets since I was born from dogs and cats to lizards and rats. I have always loved being around animals, taking care of them and making them feel loved and comfortable :) Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own, so my routine naturally revolves around feeding, walking, playtime, and cuddles. We have tons of experience caring for other people's pets and animals and have been consistently home and pet sitting for 4 years now! This year has proved how much we enjoy caring for animals and has made us very adaptable to different types of homes and pets. About: I've looked after dogs personally for over 26 years. I've trained puppies and I've trained older dogs. I'm super fit as I go to the gym and walk miles each week. I currently work from home so I can provide a personal service for your dog any day all day. If you would like me to visit your home then that is OK also. I also have a dbs certificate for peace of mind I have a fenced yard and a open house where the dog can walk and play. I have leads and dog bowls and food if necessary
