About: My name is Jen, I am a farmers wife & work from home. The farm is based in the heart of the Ribble Valley with lots of good walking spots! The garden is large and secure. I have working dogs but sadly no longer a house dog. Visitors would need to be cat friendly ! My entire life has revolved around animals and still very much does. My days are spent on the farm and working with our show ponies. From 2013 I ran a very successful dog groomers called Hair & Hound which was based at Mrs Downsons for 5 years. The business grew from strength to strength with customers trusting the shop with their loved ones. Weekend in the summer are available depending on horse shows - best option is to throw me a message 😊 Being a farmer i am based at home, apart from when I am on the school run ! Any visitors would be let out at 6 am for wee’s & poo’s and generally go to bed at 10.30 pm. The garden is fenced. I am out and on the farm at 6 am. As I am based from home our animals, as you can imagine, get A LOT of attention through out the day! Dogs would not be allowed up stairs & would sleep in the kitchen.
About: What I offer I will be offering walking dogs from your door and I will be sitting dogs I will feed them if they need it I can put meds in if they need it. But I can’t do injections. If I look after your pet over night I will take it on night walk feed them and make sure I take some time to play and then relax on sofa in front of tv. About: I’ve been caring for others cats and dogs for a few years now but started walking and sitting over the last two years. Many in my village have trusted me to care for both their cats and dogs including household with both. I love animals and have been known to take great care of the animals in the owners absence. I’m currently a full time uni student with time to spare especially at weekends. However I have free time during the week to take your pet out for walks or toilet breaks. I have a few local parks which are dog friendly and also a massive playing field.. which enables me to let your dog of the lead and run free if you are comfortable with me doing this. When your pet stays over for some time or the night they would have their own comfortable bed with a blanket in the dining room. I have a decent size house with two big living area down stairs, one is a dining room and then a small kitchen on the end. My dog Elsie has free roam of the house at night time and she is welcome to come upstairs. I have a secure enclosed yard at the end of the house where the dogs can go outside for the toilet, my Elsie prefers to go to the grass patch at the top of my street, I can take your dog there in the morning and throughout the day. There is a lovely park at the end of my street very suitable for dogs and a massive playing field a few streets up from that too, there I could let your dog off if we have built that trust and relationship between ourselves. I live with my partner, my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. My partner loves animals and he's brilliant with our dog, he's always loved with dogs and I can assure you that your dog will be warm welcomed and made to feel at home. I am generally quite flexible with my time, I work part time and in my spare time I look after my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. I am mostly available between the times 1:30-4:30 pm then available again 6:30- 8:30. I can take them with or without my chihuahua Elsie, it is totally your preference but she is friendly and probably wouldn't take much interest in your dog unless they are similar. I am comfortable administering medication, in forms like tablets or through a syringe. I am not medically trained but if it has instructions and is simple enough I would certainly have no issues doing it. I know how important it is for you and your dog to trust and feel safe with your dog walker, so i would be willing to meet up with you first before my first inital walk with your dog. I have always been very good with dogs and It is my aim to make every furry friend feel happy, loved and cared for in my care. About: I’ve been caring for others cats and dogs for a few years now but started walking and sitting over the last two years. Many in my village have trusted me to care for both their cats and dogs including household with both. I love animals and have been known to take great care of the animals in the owners absence. I’m currently a full time uni student with time to spare especially at weekends. However I have free time during the week to take your pet out for walks or toilet breaks. I only leave Theo if I need to go shopping but we are very adaptable and ordering online is not a problem if your pup can't be left alone. ->I have a walled yard perfect for toileting and a small run around. About: Always had a dog in my life. Whether that be my own or other people's. Since a young age, I have looked after dogs of all kinds. At age 10 I started walking neighbours dogs. At age 12 I helped bring up a litter of pups and watched the mummy give birth. At age 15 I got my own puppy he was a cross breed and he was a very reactive dog but I trained him to be a good boy. At age 17 to 19 I rescued a female staffy and an American bulldog from the kennels. Had a break and then bought my simba when he was 8 weeks old he is friendly and well behaved and he's the best company. I tell him all my secrets and he has never spoke a word 😂. I've no commitments other than the school run and a typical day with simba is breakfast then a nice long walk in the fields. Lots of playing fetch and exploring. Simba then likes to have a nap. He wakes up has his dinner then wants to play catch or fetch. We spend lot of time in the garden if the weather's OK. When the kids come home simba likes to play with them he enjoys ripping up paper and plastic wrappers just making a mess really 😂 it's all good aslong as he's happy and id treat your dog as if it's my own ☺️ they are in safe hands. We then go on another walk to the park after tea then we come home and get cosy. The garden is fenced. Simba can also keep your dogs company. The children are gentle and love dogs. Please don't ask me to look after your dog if it is NOT OK left alone as I will have to be out on the school run during the week twice a day. I'll never leave dogs in the same room alone. We as a family look forward to meeting your fur babies.
