Hi! We’re Minx and Lewis, your friendly neighbourhood pet-sitting duo based in Burnley. We’re a couple who basically run on caffeine, cuddles, and animal hair, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love doing every day. We offer both cat sitting and dog care, including walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and plenty of fuss (for those who want it - we fully respect the “look but don’t touch” crowd too). For Minx, cats are a long-time special interest - which means extra enthusiasm, extra attention to detail, and an uncanny ability to decode even the most “mysterious” feline behaviour. Lewis is just as experienced and confident with dogs, especially when it comes to walks, routine, and keeping tails wagging safely and happily. At home, we share our lives (and most of our bed) with our own two cats: Trico, our wise five-year-old gentleman, and Kyurem, our one-year-old chaotic goblin boy. They keep us humble… and very entertained. We’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over a decade, and professionally for the last four years. Whether it’s a shy cat who needs quiet company or an energetic dog who needs a good walk and play, we tailor our care to suit each animal’s personality and routine. We’re excited to bring our love, experience, and reliability to more pet families who want their animals cared for just as thoughtfully as we care for our own.

Specific care requests for each home are taken into consideration, such as if there are baby gates installed to prevent animals from going into certain rooms etc. For all day visits for dogs, they never leave our sight, to ensure their utmost protection!

The thought of leaving my two Siberian housecats to be "called in on" twice daily whilst I went away for a few days made me feel extremely nervous. But after the first, introductory, meeting with Minx and Lewis I felt confident that my two boys would be properly cared for. Then, once I'd had the first day's messages, supported by brilliant photos and videos, I was fully reassured, realising this arrangement was everything I could have wished for and more. Indeed, on my return I discovered that beyond having had all their needs carefully looked after, they actually seemed to be waiting for Minx and Lewis to turn up and play with them, offering something more than I had managed to since moving to this different house they were still getting used to! So, yes, without hesitation I wholeheartedly recommend Minx and Lewis for doing a remarkably professional job that also demonstrates true affection for the pets entrusted to their care.

Super friendly, sent photos and a daily update of the cats after each visit which I loved and was really re-assuring as one of the cats is very anxious so I don’t like leaving them. One had been a bit unwell prior to the visits and Minx knew exactly how to monitor and keep her hydrated etc. Couldn’t recommend them both enough and will be using again. Thanks again both!
Minx and Lewis are amazing cat sitters! They've looked after our boys several times now and each time they've cared for our boys like they are their own cats. Minx is very rapid with communication and keeps you updated with messages, pictures and videos. 100% recommend using them to take care of your pets.

Schedule
Minx has a part time job during the week while the pet sitting is Lewis’ full time gig, giving us the freedom of our own schedule! We are available 24/7 for pet requests and care, as long as we have ample notice.
Prices include all fees.
