“Marjorie and her husband were amazing and accommodating from the beginning. We were let down last minute to look after our boy and she took him on. With updates and pictures every day and spoiling Winston and including him in every day life. A great bond was formed between them. Since we have been home, we have had one sulking boy for the first day or two back as he thoroughly enjoyed his time there that much. A nice big house, back field and near by woodland that he enjoyed daily to tire him out. Two lovely people with an evident love of animals and dogs. Rest assured, your dog will be looked after and loved as if one of their pets. We could not recommend highly enough and will always look to have Winston stay there when we are away in future. Thank you both so much”

“Baz made the whole process easy and stress free. He responded quickly to messages and he was flexible with drop off and pick up times. He instantly made Reggie feel at home and sent us daily photos and updates to let us know how settled he was. We can’t recommend Baz and his daughter enough and we would definitely rebook with him next time.”

“We’ve had a Stanley stay with Rachel a couple of times now and he’s loved staying with her and her family. They really fuss over and pamper him and send us regular pics and updates which is lovely. We can highly recommend Rachel and will definitely be using her again!”
“Mark and family are just fantastic. Daphne was looked after just like she had always been part of the family and loved having a big golden retriever buddy to run around after! We've rebooked already and I'm almost certain Daphne can't wait to stay again.”

“Thanks so much to Amy and her boy friend for taking great care of our pup Rudi for his first over night stay. Such a friendly couple and a lovely home. We loved receiving the photo updates and Rudi clearly had a great time with Skye. Would highly recommend Amy and we’ll definitely be booking in again.”

“This was our first time using Nathan and it was a last minute booking but he was kind, responsive and accommodating! We got regular updates about Roxie and I’m sure she had an enjoyable time! Will definitely be rebooking with Nathan.”

“Leah looked after our dog Larry for two nights. All the way through she made things super easy and reassuring with amazing communication in the lead up and updates throughout his stay. She was confident in giving his medication too which was so helpful. On top of giving Larry the best possible care and lots of attention, Leah went above and beyond and was able to bring Larry to our weddings drinks reception. She dropped him off and collected him and was super flexible with the timings. So many other dog chaperone services charge hundreds for this, but Leah was so generous with her time and invested in making our day even more magical, all for her standard Rover rate. Thank you again Leah!!”

About: To introduce myself, my name is John, and I am a retired civil servant with 32 years of service. I am still not yet at State Pension age, having taken early retirement because I am financially secure now. I have no children. I am a non-smoker. I am in good health, but now prefer the quieter side of life and enjoy activities at a slower, more relaxed pace. I like to think of myself as a calm, neat, and tidy person. I am friendly, easygoing, with a good sense of humour. I am confident and able to handle situations and any complications that may unexpectedly arise. I have a deep love for animals and a passion for travel. Now that I am retired, I have more time on my hands to visit new places, travel, explore the countryside, and eat out. And because I am retired now, generally, I have some flexibility with the dates around which bookings are made. So, if your planned dates to be away change somewhat, I should be able to fit in with any unexpected changes in your departure and return dates. I am happy to arrive shortly before you leave so that I can meet and receive any instructions on any special requirements regarding the house and pets. At the end of the assignment, I would be happy to buy some bread and milk, etc., for you if you don't have a chance to go shopping on your return. Why I want to house sit: Unfortunately, I have no pets of my own because I live in an over-55s residential development where pets are not allowed. I would love to look after other people's pets, but I will always be sad to pass them back to their owner(s) after a while. My principal aim will be to ensure that your home and beloved furry companion(s) are cared for with utmost devotion. I have a strong moral compass, instinctively knowing right from wrong whilst continuously upholding those principles. My love for animals is endless, as I cherish all precious creatures. I enjoy the experience of getting to know a new pet's personality, along with visiting new places and meeting new people. I am looking forward to immersing myself in this environment and providing assistance to pet owners. Creating a warm and caring environment is important to me, where one can feel like a cherished member of the family while respecting the responsibility of caring for other people's homes and their beloved animals. I would welcome the opportunity to care for your home, garden, and pets with care, consideration, and affection. My experience: I have previously completed a number of pet-sitting assignments and really enjoyed the experience. I appreciated the trust these homeowners had placed in me and wanted to make this process enjoyable for them, knowing I had taken care of their home and the precious animals. I can send you the homeowner's five-star reviews for you to view if you wish

About: I have 4 cats of my own, so I have lots of daily experience caring for them. I always choose the best quality food, keep everything clean, play with them and give them all the love they need. I also look after friends’ and neighbours’ cats when they are on holiday — visiting up to 3 times a day to feed them, clean their litter, play and cuddle them. Every cat is a special soul to me, and I care for them with all my heart, just like my own.

About: I have taken care of cats since my childhood. I have experience with diverse breeds from Scottish fold to Sphynx. I have also experience of working as veterinary assitant in a small animal clinic. I can meet basic healthcare needs as well.
About: Dog lover doesn’t even cut it 🐕 My Grandma spent her life rehoming dogs of all kinds to the point of 20+ at any given time and my Mum is also a dog groomer with 20+ years of experience who currently has 8 dogs of her own. I’ve lived with, taken care of and owned dozens of different breeds throughout my life. So you could say that being a dog lover is in my blood! I regularly house sit for friends and family members, including the CEO of my business who owns a large farm with 3 dogs, 5 cats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and cows. She, like me, loves nothing more than her animals and puts her trust in me taking care of her beloved furry family members. If I am not free, she doesn’t go away, she doesn’t trust anyone else. Take a look through my gallery of photos and I hope my love and passion for dogs will be glaringly obvious! Your pets wellbeing is my upmost priority and I really hope to meet some of your furry family members very soon. I have a completely flexible full-time remote career on a working from home basis. I also have a full UK drivers license that I’ve had for over 12 years. I purchased my first home a couple of years ago. It is a semi-detached house with stairs and a fenced garden, we also keep the garden gate locked 90% of the time unless it’s bin day. I work from home so I am around all day to make sure they are well looked after and provide plenty of cuddles.

About: Hello! I have 6 years of hands-on experience caring for my dog, Buster, and I am equally comfortable looking after cats as I have owned them for 24 years. I understand that cats love their routines, whether that means energetic laser-pointer playtime or quiet cuddles. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, and litter box scooping to keep your kitty comfortable.

“We could tell straight away that Teddy had been in a loving, caring environment. Teddy had a lovely time and was really happy when we picked him up. Sophie took fantastic care of Teddy during our 10 days away and kept us reassured with periodic updates on how he was doing. Will absolutely book again & would recommend highly!”

“Thank you for looking after my boy 🤗. Sharon is a lovely lady with a nice place and a secure garden, which was ideal for an older dog with mobility issues. There was no issue with any of my requests, and whenever I asked, I always received a reply assuring me that everything was fine. Unfortunately, I did not meet Steven, but that doesn't change the fact that they took good care of him. I will definitely use them again in the future if needed.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to look after our dogs while we were away. From the moment we met them, they were warm, friendly, and clearly genuine animal lovers, which immediately put us at ease. They had the absolute best time — it was obvious they were well cared for, happy, and comfortable throughout their stay. We loved receiving updates and could tell they were being treated like part of the family. It’s such a relief knowing we can go away and trust that our dogs are in such kind and capable hands. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to book them again in the future.”

“We would love to thank Lesley & Howard for looking after Baxter for a full week. Regular updates and photos keeping us up to date with. Our bundle of joy looks to have had a great time. Thank you. 😀”

“Rosie was well looked after by Sue, she always seems so happy and content when she stays there and always keeps us so well informed throughout her stay. Will definitely rebook.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have had dogs and cats throughout my life, including a Labrador and a Cocker Spaniel, both of whom I helped raise from puppies. I’ve also had cats of my own. Over the years, I’ve looked after lots of different dogs for friends and family, including Labradors, Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Saint Bernards and Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of very different sizes, ages and personalities. I’m also a volunteer dog walker for a local dog charity and usually spend part of most weekends walking and spending time with the dogs there. I absolutely love animals and genuinely feel happiest with a dog around the house. I’m not in a position to commit to having my own dog at the moment, which is why dog sitting suits me so well. I get to enjoy having animals around while giving someone else the reassurance that their dog is being looked after by someone who genuinely loves having them there. I work from home the vast majority of the time, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. Because I’m home most of the day, pets would have plenty of company and wouldn’t be left alone for long periods. For dogs, a typical routine would usually include: * A morning walk * Another walk around lunchtime * An evening walk, depending on their usual routine and energy levels * Plenty of attention, company and cuddles throughout the day At weekends, I often go out for walks and generally have a fairly relaxed schedule, so any pet staying with me would very much be included in whatever I’m doing. My home is calm, quiet, child-free, pet-free and smoke-free, so it’s a lovely relaxed environment for pets to settle into. I have a fully secure yard for toilet breaks, as well as a park just five minutes from my home, so it’s very easy to get outside whenever needed. I’m very happy to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including: * Feeding times * Walks and toilet breaks * Sleeping arrangements * Any little habits that help them feel comfortable and at home If they normally sleep on the sofa, in the bedroom or even on the bed, that’s absolutely fine with me if their owner is happy with it. My main aim is to make any pet staying with me feel safe, relaxed, loved and genuinely at home.

“Very polite and knows what she’s doing and it’s clear she’s got lots of experience. She was very accommodating for our dog. Also very fast at communicating on here too. Without doubt I would have violet look after our dog again and I would definitely recommend others to :)”

“First stay-over at Rafael’s, for my 2 dogs, Colin & Belle… Rafael was absolutely brilliant with my dogs & I picked them up all chilled out & happy… Rafael had walked them & played with them lots during the day & sent me video & pics of them, along with regular updates… Rafael made my 2 very comfy at night so they had a really good sleep!… Rafael was very attentive & caring to Colin & Belle and they really enjoyed their visit with her & I’ve already booked my next one!… I couldn’t recommend Rafael enough!”

“I was reluctant to leave my dog Ralph with a stranger at first. He is very much a loved member of the family. We was stuck as our daughter couldn't have him so I thought I'd give Rover a try, where we found Duncan (I didn't want him in the kennels). So glad I did. Ralph has had his very own holiday for a week! Duncan gave him so much love and attention, the daily updates as requested made us smile. You can tell he is an animal lover and takes his job very seriously. I hope in future Duncan has availability as he will be my first choice. 10/10 lovely guy”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a small child. I grew up with Border Collies and now have my own collie x corgi who I cherish endlessly. Because of this, I have a strong understanding of high energy breeds and the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m confident handling dogs with different personalities and needs, from energetic and playful to more anxious or sensitive. I always take the time to get to know each dog individually so I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on long walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. Their wellbeing is always my top priority, and I treat every dog as if they were my own (that means truly spoiling them). I’m currently working part-time, entirely from home which means I can ensure your pet gets the attention they need throughout the day and I can be flexible with their needs. We take our own resident pup on a big long walk in the evening! I have a small fenced in garden and a 1.5 year old small corgi collie cross to keep your furry friend company, though she can sometimes take a little while to warm up with other pooches. I live with my fiance too who helps with caring for your pet! I have good knowledge of dog body language so know when they need attention and equally space. I genuinely love and care for animals of all kinds so you can trust that your pup will be getting the most loving care!

“Wow what can I say. Angelika was so helpful from start to finish, Silva has never stayed with anyone else before and has had the best week, he's actually fuming we have now picked him up. He's been loved and looked after , walked , played with we have had regular contact and photos daily, we have all loved seeing his updates each day. Thankyou for everything we will be on touch very soon to book his next stay with you. ❤️”

“Nelly loves being with this family, she’s always grumpy when she comes home which helps me to know she is loved whilst she is there! Regular updates and just the sweetest people! Thank you as always 🫶🏽🤍🥺”

“Jessica and Lewis were amazing with our two whippets. Lots of exercise and lots of love was given to my dogs, that I could see on the daily morning and evening updates. When we went to pick them up, after jumping on us, they went back to Jessica and Lewis for cuddles on the sofa and that told me everything I needed to know. I have one dog that isn’t a fan of strangers and she was definitely at ease and relaxed with them which is a testament to the kindness and love they showed her. 💖💖 Their dog Ralph was a wonderful friend to my dogs as well 😊”
