1. Michael R.
“Michael is a trustworthy, caring, mature pet sitter. He has always looked after my border collie while I was away from home. I left him a list of things to do e.g. bathe him after each walk, walk him for about an hour a day, brush him, clip his nails, pamper him because he’s a spoiled doggo, treats after he’s done as his told, pick up the poop from the garden and elsewhere and of course feed him. I would trust Michael to pet sit for me anytime I am away. I always come back with some chocolate for him and leave a great tip for his time of day!”

2. Gary W.

“First time using Rover and Gary helped to make that a very positive experience. Bonnie had a fabulous day, with lots of walks and picture and message updates which were very reassuring to a slightly nervous dog mam! Will definitely go to Gary for dogsitting again!”

3. Ruth G.

“Scooby really enjoys his visits to see Ruth. He's always excited when he knows he is going and is reluctant to leave. Excellent care from Ruth.”

4. Kevin S.

“Kevin is a lovely chap. He clearly loves dogs and can give them plenty of attention and exercise. Bonnie settled quickly and made friends with Luna (super cute). We arranged a day to allow familiarity ahead of a three day stay. Really happy to have found a safe and friendly home from home ?”

5. Lily A.

“Marley loved his stay with Lily. She sent lots of photos so we knew Marley was getting lots of love and attention and in good hands. She was accommodating of our late pick up time and was great throughout. We will definitely use again.”

6. Brigitte I.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 6 years now. I have experience with small and big dogs. I have one dog (Alaskan Malamute) thats is blind, so I know how to deal when special needs are required. I had a German Shepherd who recently just passed so also have experience with old doggies. At the end they are all furry to love. Love to kiss them and hug them, even if they don’t like it 🤣 I have 3 cats in my house who are used to dogs so that won’t be a problem :) Im currently not working so I dedicate myself to do some studying to keep myself up to date and keep the house tidy. Normally, the pets get fed 3 times a day like us :) And go on walks once a day, plus can use the garden freely if they need a pee or poo. I have fenced garden and a camera in the living room, so in case I need to pop to the shops I can still monitor them.

7. Isabella H.
“Bella has looked after our dog lots in the past and has always been brilliant. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter on Rover”

8. Graeme C.
“Graeme and Linda have taken care of my dog several times in their own home and he is always returned to me fit healthy and happy. He is always happy to stay with them and I have no worries when I leave him there”

9. Ana Cristina M.

“Ana Christina fitted us in at short notice when we had a family emergency. She took great care with Angus and he was really excited to see her each day. He was cared for in her home alongside her own dog and I felt completely confident in leaving him with Ana and her family. I’m very grateful for the care that Angus received and I would highly recommend using Ana for daycare and I’d be very happy to use her services for overnight boarding too We look forward to seeing her next time we visit my family.”

10. Angela S.

“Another brilliant visit for Marley! He loves spending time with Angela, in particular all of the love and tickles she gives. Despite it being a short stay this time, Angela still took him out for a walk and played with him in the garden. Thanks again!”

11. Kiera H.

“Jinx had a great time with Kiera and Marley. Communication was excellent and we got regular picture and video updates. Will definitely be making a return visit!”

12. Benjamin F.
“Ben is officially the best pet sitter ever. Not only did he take amazing care of Lily while I was away, but he also went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and comfortable. It’s not easy to trust someone with my precious pup, but Ben made it so effortless. He kept me updated with pictures and let me know how she was doing throughout the day. Lily adores him. When I got back, she was her usual playful self, and it was obvious she had a great time with Ben. I couldn’t recommend him more to anyone who needs a trustworthy, dog-loving sitter :)”

13. Rebecca C.

“Bertie had a great time with Rebecca for the day. He was very well looked after and taken out for walks and had lots of attention. He is happily tired out. Thanks.”

About: I've had pets at home for as long as I can remember, and my love for pets is just a natural characteristic in me. I am the type of girl who as a kid would bring a different rescued pet to my house that drove my mum crazy! I will provide a toilet according to each pet's needs, I will take on walks and will shower them if needed (they might not like that lol), and obviously, the love won't be missing! My house has a security camera system that monitors everything, just in case I need to pop out to the shops. There's also a large garden they can use for a toilet at any time. I am currently in my first semester of Veterinary studies, and my lessons are online, therefore my schedule is flexible and will have lots of time to play and cuddle with your furry baby. I will provide pictures and videos during the service and feel free to phone me at any time! I offer flexible pet care services at both my home and the owner's residence. In my home, they will have the company of Logan(dog), Michu and Nala (cats), who are super friendly and loving. Additionally, I can provide a quiet space for them to relax since sometimes coming to a new place can cause a bit of stress on the pets.

“Dexter had a lovely day with lots of cuddles and tummy rubs (his favourite) he was super chill when I picked him up which was a good sign to me that he had been well cared for during the day.”

18. Eva L.
“Eva would care for any pet as her own, having had lots of experience with cats and dogs of various breeds. The house is very spacious with access to a large securely fenced garden. For dogs, there are public footpaths around woods and through fields within a few minutes’ walk. Eva works from home so would be on hand for your pet’s needs at any time of day, and would provide a loving and trustworthy home for them while they require pet sitting, caring for them as her own.”

About: I'm a PhD student in the Durham University. Holding a COSCA certificate in Counseling & Psychotherapy in Scotland, I am also a Level 2 basketball athlete in China. Throughout my counseling journey, I've come to understand the therapeutic significance of pets, particularly dogs and cats. I'm known for my compassion, patience, and gentle nature. As a Sagittarius, I'm enthusiastic and sincere. In my home China , I have a British Shorthair cat for over two years, starting when he was just three months old. I trained him to use cat litter and created a conducive environment for him. Back in December 2023, I had the wonderful opportunity to look after various dogs through Pawshake. I’m grateful for everyone who trusted me with their pets. At that time, I was living in Edinburgh, and I took the dogs to places like Princes Street Gardens and Arthur's Seat. I fell in love with the dog-friendly atmosphere in the UK, which has only grown since I adopted my own dog—a sweet, one-year-old Cavapoo girl—in February this year. She truly is an angel, with a gentle nature and a special fondness for elderly people, children, and other dogs. She’s always eager to make new friends, and having a doggie buddy for a night would absolutely make her day! As for my home setup, I live in a detached house with a fenced garden where my dog loves to explore. Just 50 meters from our front door, there’s a large grassy area and a nature reserve, perfect for dog walks and surrounded by other dog-loving neighbors. It’s a peaceful community, clean, with very few cars, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. I love taking my dog on forest walks in this pristine setting. Currently, I work from home focusing on reading and writing, so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. Please feel free to reach out—I’d be thrilled to introduce my little one to new friends!
