About: I have had dogs from a young age and currently have a cockerpoo for past 8 years. I am local to Durham and my rates are the same whether it’s a holiday period or not. I work adhoc so can be available during weekdays and weekends. Just enquire and will let you know when / where and I’ll get back to you I have a fenced rear garden and have my own dog so can walk on their own or with company if my dog on a lead.

Outside, we have a large, secure garden where they can stretch their legs, play, sniff, and soak up the fresh air. We're also surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for exciting adventures, leisurely strolls, and plenty of sniff-filled walkies. Sharing our home is our lovely spayed female Golden Retriever, who absolutely adores other dogs. She's friendly, gentle, and always happy to make new friends—whether that's a game of chase in the garden or simply lounging together after a long walk. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. Whether they're staying for a day, a weekend, or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing they'll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and updates so you can see what they've been getting up to. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule already revolves around my own Golden Retriever, meaning your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation throughout the day. Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. I also make sure that any plants within their reach are dog-safe, so you can have complete peace of mind. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Inside, our home is spacious, calm, and relaxed, and dogs can settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. About: I have worked in rescue and pet sitting for 10 years now and have fostered over 500 dogs in that time. I have cared for dogs of all different sizes, from chihuahuas to Caucasian shepards, and all different ages, from 9 weeks old to 17 years old. No matter how long I look after each dog whether it be 5 minutes or 5 months I love and care for them as though they were my own. I have experience with a wide range of challenging behaviours such as resource guarding, reactivity, aggression ect. I have qualifications in canine behaviour, nutrition and animal management and veterinary nursing course. I am very flexible and can work around a schedule that fits your pets needs. Pets would be left no more than the odd hour if I needed to pop out for shopping etc but this can also be worked around for any that are unable to be left. If you have a schedule I can stick to that to offer the dogs a sense of familiarity. I will also send several photos of your dog so that you can feel relaxed that they are happy and in safe hands.

About: I am qualified with a animal management degree as well as plenty of doggy experience ! I've walked older and younger pups as well as both male and females. I've worked with various breeds from a great Dane and German shepherd to smaller breeds like French bulldogs and rescue mutts. Ive done single dog walks and pack based walks and owned two dogs of my own for over 15 years. (I currently don't have any pets so all my care and attention is your pooches). No question is a silly question so if you have any send the message, I am a fast reply at most times of the day. Let me know your requirements, tell me all about your dog even if you think something's a little silly (like they have a fear of cats on the street !). Let me know of any dietary requirements for on the go treats of if feeding time happens at daycare ! I am a mother of two young children, 5 and 4 years so I'm looking for early mornings and afternoon hours mainly however I could still accommodate you. Doggy's are welcome to stay in our home, we have a medium sized garden fully enclosed. Dogs are welcome in our bed but we also have space for a crate if that's what you prefer. * I don't drive therefore I am reliant on you for pick up and drop off as scheduled As a stay at home mam I'm home 24/7. I operate between a 6am-10pm for dog sitting to accommodate those starting work early or ending later etc. Your dogs meal times will be incorporated during their stays just let me know when you prefer them to be fed and what (I usually ask owners to provide food themselves just to avoid any allergies or dietary requirements) As a dog sitter/boarder, you dog will be staying in a family home. A full house of 2 young children and a newborn (4+6yrs) myself and my male partner. All dogs are welcome on our sofa and even in our bed (if that is what you allow) we do have some steep stairs to the upstairs area which can be off limits to dogs that are older or have issues with joints etc. A medium sized garden is available and if fully enclosed with some areas of pavement if this is something your dog prefers.

About: Boarding Kennels are a small purpose built, family run dog boarding facility based on our family farm 10 miles west of Durham city. The kennels are run by Ellie, who has both owned and had a passion for dogs their entire lives. Ellie now has a small team of Cocker Spaniels who are gundog trained and love being out working during the shooting season. Being small scale and a dog owner myself, I can offer a bespoke boarding service to your dog, where they will be treated as one of my own. I welcome dogs of all sizes, ages and special requirements. Including puppies, elderly dogs, working dogs, entire males and unspayed females. I work from home, and have a flexible routine meaning we have availability to look after dogs and cats 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I have spent a long time planning my kennels to make them somewhere I would be happy to leave my own dogs. Therefore each kennel has a private heated and insulated sleeping area, as well as a covered individual run with lots of natural light. Dogs will have plenty of opportunity to explore our private farmland and woods while exercising. As standard I supply bedding, towels, leads, bowls and toys. However you are more than welcome to supply your own, as well as many other possessions you feel your dog will need while staying.

About: I was brought up on a farm so from a young age have cared for a variety of animals, I have experience with all animals from small furry friends and large dogs, horses etc, I also have experience with reptiles owning my own tortoise and bearded dragon. I volunteered at Northumberland Zoo and have always loved all animals. I own two cats and a a large Anatolian shepherd dog who I rescued 9 years ago. I am currently trying to make pet sitting my full time job so have plenty of time to care for your family pets! I am fully dbs checked and previously worked in the NHS. I have completed my dog first aid course. I have access to a farm in which I can exercise your dogs and take them on lovely walks, I can cater to group or solo walks also.
