Outside, we have a large, secure garden where they can stretch their legs, play, sniff, and soak up the fresh air. Sharing our home is our lovely spayed female Golden Retriever, who absolutely adores other dogs. She's friendly, gentle, and always happy to make new friends—whether that's a game of chase in the garden or simply lounging together after a long walk. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. Whether they're staying for a day, a weekend, or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing they'll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and updates so you can see what they've been getting up to. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule already revolves around my own Golden Retriever, meaning your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation throughout the day. Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. I also make sure that any plants within their reach are dog-safe, so you can have complete peace of mind. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. About: I have grown up with a household full all animals ranging from insects, rodents, cats and dogs. I have looked after and walked dogs since I was 15, and have owned dogs for the last 13 years. I have always had a passion for animals and hold an honors degree in animal behaviour. I have always rescued dogs (greyhounds) and take on the older ones with behavioural or health challenges. I have a lot of experience with older dogs and dogs that come with additional care requirements. I have completed dog first aid, cared for dogs with severe injuries and health issues ranging from dog attacks to advanced cancers, organ failure and spinal issues. I am very experienced in administering medications for unwell animals and a dab hand with vet-wrap for those clumsier pups (side effect of owning sighthounds). I work full time, however I will be taking your dogs into work with me where it is a dog friendly environment. They will receive 24hr care. There are fields and woodlands nearby for walks. I will tailor my care for you pets. I have a good size house with a fully fenced garden. The fence is 6ft so they will be secure. Your pets will be able to roam free, however I do have a crate for any animals that prefer to sleep in them or younger ones that might need time outs to continue crate training.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have also dog sit my grandparents elderly west highland terriers before. My parents were cat breeders so I’m very comfortable with cats and dogs. I grew up with a border collie. Other family pets included ducks, chickens, rats, birds, turtles, hamsters. Other experience includes childcare, I am a British gymnastics qualified coach who completed background checks, I’ve worked at a leisure Center and volunteered at a down syndrome sports club. I work full time in an office but am remote Mondays and Fridays, which makes thoose ideals for pet sitting! I work in my office and occasionally have meetings but this would integer minimally with my attention and I am easily accessible for the pets and keeping them within dar and eye shot ! I have a house with a large garden and also backs onto a woods great for walkies! I also leave all the doors open so the pets can come find me st my workstation and I can keep an ear out for them! Including frequent breaks to check on their needs, water and just some attention if they wish!

She was flexible when I got the dates wrong on our booking and had to change last minute. Communication was great and drop off and collection was really easy. She is super friendly and Hugo enjoyed his time there with her and her family and her dog Rosie who is a lovely dog. We got some lovely photos of Hugo on his walks and he had a great time. If there is anything specific the animal or owner requires we are happy to accommodate this. We try to keep the animals weekly routine similar to what the owner would do. We are flexible in our day so would spend most of it with the animals. Pet care is full time for us so we have no other commitments. When in the owners home we try to replicate the same routine for the dogs as the owner would. Dogs are not left for more than 4 hours.

About: Boarding Kennels are a small purpose built, family run dog boarding facility based on our family farm 10 miles west of Durham city. The kennels are run by Ellie, who has both owned and had a passion for dogs their entire lives. Ellie now has a small team of Cocker Spaniels who are gundog trained and love being out working during the shooting season. Being small scale and a dog owner myself, I can offer a bespoke boarding service to your dog, where they will be treated as one of my own. I welcome dogs of all sizes, ages and special requirements. Including puppies, elderly dogs, working dogs, entire males and unspayed females. I work from home, and have a flexible routine meaning we have availability to look after dogs and cats 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I have spent a long time planning my kennels to make them somewhere I would be happy to leave my own dogs. Therefore each kennel has a private heated and insulated sleeping area, as well as a covered individual run with lots of natural light. Dogs will have plenty of opportunity to explore our private farmland and woods while exercising. As standard I supply bedding, towels, leads, bowls and toys. However you are more than welcome to supply your own, as well as many other possessions you feel your dog will need while staying.
