“Ella was an absolute lifesaver for us having Douglas while we went to Kynren. 10 stars. Highly recommended Really chilled, lovely home, clearly loves animals and felt confident and reassured we’d left Doug with someone nice while we swanned off to the show. Thanks again for your patience when we were stuck in the traffic getting out of there too. And you managed to take some lovely photos of him something I’ve not managed to get him to sit still for in 6 years! Thanks again.”

“Georgia looked after our cockapoo puppy, Milo, for two days and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! It was the first time we'd ever left him, and she couldn't have made us feel more at ease. She kept us updated throughout with pictures, which was so reassuring, and it was clear Milo had the best time with Otis and Barney – it was like a little holiday for him! Georgia is so kind and caring, and we'll definitely be booking with her again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!”

“Chester has once again had a lovely time with Eva. As soon as he arrived he was so excited to see her again so I know he's going to settle straight in once more. Eva always keeps us informed on what is happening while we are away.”

“Liam took such amazing care of our Labrador, Rupert! The communication was so efficient and smooth before, during and after Rupert’s stay and they treated him like their own! We received some lovely photos and videos throughout his stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Liam again! Thank you so much 🤩”

“Lynn and her family looked after our golden Bonnie amazingly whilst we were away for a few nights - Bonnie had a great time and was clearly very happy and comfortable during her stay - getting to go on exciting walks and making friends with the other lovely pups that Lynn was looking after during that period. Communication from Lynn was great and very reassuring for me (as someone who gets a bit nervous leaving Bonnie when we’re away!) Would definitely book a stay with Lynn again in the future and know Bonnie would be very happy to return! ☺️”

“I'm delighted with how Poppy cared for Minnie, my elderly and fairly nervous jr/chihuahua cross. Minnie had a lovely time pootling about the garden with Poppy's lovely, gentle dog Narla. I could see from the photos and video Poppy updated me regularly with, that Minnie was happy and relaxed - which in itself is an achievement. I have no hesitation in recommending Poppy for dogs care and will definitely be booking her again.”

“When you leave your dog with someone it is always a worry, however Peter was great and looked after our little girl so well. He gave us updates and photos during her stay too. Would not hesitate to leave Tina with him again.”

“This was our first time using a dog sitter, and I was a little nervous, but Brianna was fantastic. She took great care of our dog Betsy, kept me updated with messages and photos, and made the whole experience stress-free. My dog was happy and well looked after. I would definitely recommend her and would happily book with her again. Thank you!”

“Teddy had a wonderful time with Csilla and her daughter, he is an anxious boy but he settled in strait away. Csilla sent pictures and a video of Teddy playing in the garden. Although he greeted me enthusiastically when I went to collect him he was very happy to stay !! I’ve already booked two more stays and I would recommend Csilla to others without a second thought. Thank you for looking after my little man so well and treating him like one of the family.”

“Anthony has been brilliant and professional from the start, doing a proper meet and greet and keeping us updated the whole time about Goldie's welfare. We can't thank him enough for looking after our little girl and giving us a chance to spend some quality time away. Thanks again and all the best”

“Delphi had a brilliant stay and didn’t want to leave! The photo and video updates were much appreciated- you could tell how happy she was. Communication from the first enquiry was excellent. I highly recommend William for dog boarding and Delphi’s next stay is already booked.”
“We had our initial meet up to intruduce bella and brennan to Patrick which went really well. There was no issues about my girls sleeping on the bed as they do at home with me but also have a box if they want I recieved photos to put my mind at rest throughout there stay, they seemed really happy and would definately use patrick again”

About: 🐾 A Home Away From Home for Your Best Friend! 🐾 Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of every age, breed, and personality. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, so I understand that every pup is unique and deserves plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. From energetic puppies learning the ropes to gentle senior dogs needing a little extra care, I'm experienced with it all. I've helped with puppy training, supported older dogs with arthritis and mobility issues, and cared for every stage in between. Whether your dog is full of zoomies or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay. I've looked after dogs of all shapes and sizes—from tiny Jack Russells right up to gentle giants like Dogues de Bordeaux—so no matter how big or small your four-legged family member is, they'll be welcomed with open arms. Your dog will have plenty of room to make themselves at home in our spacious house, with lots of cosy spots to relax, nap, or simply potter about. Outside, we have a large, secure garden where they can stretch their legs, play, sniff, and soak up the fresh air. We're also surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for exciting adventures, leisurely strolls, and plenty of sniff-filled walkies. Sharing our home is our lovely spayed female Golden Retriever, who absolutely adores other dogs. She's friendly, gentle, and always happy to make new friends—whether that's a game of chase in the garden or simply lounging together after a long walk. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. Whether they're staying for a day, a weekend, or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing they'll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and updates so you can see what they've been getting up to. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule already revolves around my own Golden Retriever, meaning your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation throughout the day. Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. I also make sure that any plants within their reach are dog-safe, so you can have complete peace of mind. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Whether it's a game of zoomies around the garden, exploring together on walks, or curling up for a well-earned nap, she's always delighted to welcome a new furry friend. Inside, our home is spacious, calm, and relaxed, and dogs can settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a peaceful snooze after a walk, they'll have plenty of space to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

“Han looked after our dog for the first time this weekend and I have nothing but positive things to say. From the first meet and greet I felt very positive and had no worries or concerns about him staying. We were kept updated about his stay and recieved pictures throughout. We've already got his next stay booked! Thanks 😊”

“One word Amazing. Such a lovely couple. Arranged a meet and greet. And felt at ease straight away. On the day that I dropped Ollie off I would usually be anxious. But I had no anxiety at all. Ollie has needs in which these 2 knew actually how to look after. I was kept in the loop of how he was going throughout his time away. When I went to pick him up he didn't want to come home. He had a great time. Would highly recommend. Thankyou 😁”

“Rebecca was amazing looking after Milo! He stayed with her for 3 nights and it was clear he had a fantastic little holiday. She kept me updated throughout his stay with lots of photos and videos, which really reassured me and put me completely at ease while I was away. Milo looked so happy and was very well cared for, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely book with Rebecca again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their dog!”

“Our Cooper had a great time with Jane. She sent plenty of pictures and updates. We felt Cooper was safe and comfortable with her and partner. Plenty on walks and cuddles. We will be booking with Jane again.”

About: Hi! My name is Cleo and I absolutely love animals - I’ve had a dog previously, and now I have my own cat. I have been a dog sitter for over 10+ years, and now as new and self-declared crazy cat lady, I am extending my services to cat-sitting. I work flexibly (most days at home). I also have my own car and can travel within reasonable distance. I will take care of your baby or babies as if they were my own.

About: Hi, I’m Liberty! I’m 21 and currently studying at Durham University. I’ve been around animals since I was a child and have had the joy of caring for multiple cats throughout my life, so I understand their personalities, quirks, and needs really well. I’m very conscientious and attentive with animals so every pet will get my full attention and care. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to look after your furry friend and give them all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away💗

“Roger was great, he looked after our girls, gave them food and treats, played with them and looked after their litter. It was really nice to be sent photos of them whilst we were away. Thanks so much Roger.”

About: I have an 8 year old working Labrador, so I’ve got experience in keeping active dogs happy and stimulated. I love tailoring walks to suit each dog’s age, energy, and personality. This may include long walks, a game of fetch, or a slow stroll with plenty of sniff breaks. I’m currently studying at university with free days each week and I really miss my own dog while I’m away from home. Caring for other people’s dogs is the perfect way to spend that time doing something I love and getting outdoors. I offer dog walking and pet visits at the owner’s home, following their instructions and maintaining their dog’s usual routine and training to keep things comfortable and consistent for the pet.

About: A bit about me 🫶🏼 Hi! I’m Sophie, but you can call me Soph. I’m a dedicated and trustworthy cat sitter with a genuine love for our feline friends. I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, but I have a special soft spot for cats and truly understand their unique personalities, boundaries, and quirks. I know how important it is to find someone patient and reliable to care for your cat while you’re away and that’s exactly what I offer 🐾 I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where your cat can feel relaxed and secure in their own space. Whether your cat is playful and affectionate or more independent and reserved, I always take the time to let them come to me at their own pace. Their comfort and routine are my top priority, and I’ll care for them as if they were my own with plenty of gentle attention, affection (when invited!), and respect for their space. I work from home, which means I’m flexible and able to adapt to your cat’s routine. I can stay in your home so your cat remains in a familiar environment something I know is especially important for cats, who thrive on consistency. This helps reduce stress and keeps them happy while you’re away. As I work remotely, access to reliable WiFi is essential during house sits. I have experience caring for cats of all ages—from tiny kittens full of energy to older cats who need a quieter, more gentle approach. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter care, playtime, and giving medication where needed. I understand the importance of observing subtle changes in behaviour and always ensure your cat is happy, healthy, and well looked after. Whether it’s interactive play, keeping feeding schedules consistent, refreshing litter trays, or simply providing calm companionship, I tailor my care to suit each cat’s individual personality and needs. Meet & Greets 🐾 Meet and greets are an important first step for you, your cat, and me to make sure we’re the perfect fit. Our initial meet will last around 15–20 minutes, giving us time to go through your cat’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements. It’s also a great chance for me to get to know your cat, their personality, favourite spots, and little quirks while allowing them to approach me in their own time. Whether that means a curious sniff or immediate head bumps, I always follow their lead to build trust naturally. You are your cat’s favourite human, and I promise to be a very close second 🐾

“Linda was an amazing cat sitter. Together with her son Jack they clearly really bonded with Oscar, every day Linda would send me photos and videos of Oscar, whom they spoiled rotten and covered with treats and gifts. Couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! ”
“Alison and Romy are excellent pet sitters, couldn’t have wished for better people to look after my babies. They ensured my two cats were well loved during their visits, and I got some lovely photos. Communication was excellent from my first enquiry, and I felt reassured whilst away which made for a stress free trip. Would absolutely recommend and use again. Thank you so much Alison and Romy 😻❤️”

I have my own dog, Nala, who I adore and who is great with other dogs, so if your dog is looking for a sitter where she can be around another dog, we would be perfect. I have a fully enclosed rear garden as well as great walks locally. My house is calm, caring and relaxed, the perfect environment for any dog. I taking the dogs for walks and making sure dogs get all the exercise and enrichment they need through the day. They will get plenty of attention, care and activity both physical and mental enrichment. I have no children, but my dog would be around, so your dog must be happy with other dogs. Faith comes across as very friendly and caring, and I felt reassured and confident that our dog would be in good and safe hands during his stay. Communication was very smooth and Faith sent us both pictures and a review of how our dog had been doing while with her. About: I am QLS Level 3 Animal Care, Pet First Aid & Pet CPR qualified, and carry a pet first aid kit with me at all times. I am a passionate animal lover; I volunteered for Sheffield Retired Greyhound Trust until I moved to the North East in 2024, spending my Saturday mornings caring for and walking rescue greyhounds. I grew up with two of my own dogs. I have been providing dog walking services since 2017, and daycare and boarding since 2019, meaning I have over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs. 🐶 I have a calm and quiet home, and can provide enrichment and plenty of attention, especially if your dog loves a sofa cuddle! I pride myself in being reliable and communicative, so you know your dog is in the best hands. I live near Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, and hold a Durham Wildlife Trust membership to walk dogs in a variety of different places so they don't get bored. 🌳 I organise a pre-meet before all boarding bookings to check that you and your dog feel comfortable with me, my partner Cal, and our home, to make sure we're a good fit for your dog and vice versa. We don't have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family's pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care; a real home away from home. 🥰 When your dog is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. I will provide you with regular photo 'pupdates' on how they are and what they're getting up to. 🐾 I work from home, so I can offer boarding and daycare for dogs and small furries (separately, or together if from the same famiy). I can only cater for dogs with separation anxiety for daycare, but not for boarding. I live in a calm and quiet detached house with a decent sized fenced-in garden, with my partner Cal. We don’t have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family’s pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care.
About: Boarding Kennels are a small purpose built, family run dog boarding facility based on our family farm 10 miles west of Durham city. The kennels are run by Ellie, who has both owned and had a passion for dogs their entire lives. Ellie now has a small team of Cocker Spaniels who are gundog trained and love being out working during the shooting season. Being small scale and a dog owner myself, I can offer a bespoke boarding service to your dog, where they will be treated as one of my own. I welcome dogs of all sizes, ages and special requirements. Including puppies, elderly dogs, working dogs, entire males and unspayed females. I work from home, and have a flexible routine meaning we have availability to look after dogs and cats 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I have spent a long time planning my kennels to make them somewhere I would be happy to leave my own dogs. Therefore each kennel has a private heated and insulated sleeping area, as well as a covered individual run with lots of natural light. Dogs will have plenty of opportunity to explore our private farmland and woods while exercising. As standard I supply bedding, towels, leads, bowls and toys. However you are more than welcome to supply your own, as well as many other possessions you feel your dog will need while staying.
“What a lovely lady Emma is. Bruno had a fabulous day while we visited our son in Durham University. Really good updates on his day and felt confident that Emma and Bruno would get along.”

“Craig was fantastic accommodating Jackson to stay one night with him. He kept me informed on what they got up to and I know Jackson had a blast as he’s still tired from all they fun he had! Thank you so much 😊”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently have two friendly, well-socialised dogs of my own. I regularly help care for my neighbours' dogs while they're at work, providing walks, companionship, feeding and plenty of attention. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy and well cared for. I currently only work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I'm available most other days for dog walks, drop-in visits and boarding. For boarding, dogs would need to be comfortable around children, as I have two dog-savvy children who have grown up around dogs and know how to interact with them respectfully. My own dogs are very friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs, helping visiting pets feel welcome and at home. I will care for your dog as if they were one of my own, making sure they receive lots of love, attention, exercise and cuddles while you're away. I also only work term time so I’m at home full time during the school holidays ☺️ Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine as I already care for my own two dogs every day. I am fully available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays for walks, drop-in visits and boarding. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work from 8:30am until 3:30pm, but I'm available after work. I also only work term time so there are periods where I am home full time, my husband also works from home on a Tuesday and is in the local area on wednesdays usually so our dogs are never left alone much at all which will be the same for your pet 🙂. Weekends are usually spent with my family enjoying local parks, beaches and countryside walks, and any dogs staying with us are welcome to join our adventures. If we're visiting somewhere that isn't dog-friendly, we're usually only out for a few hours at a time. Your dog's safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to play and explore safely. I live in a lovely area of County Durham with access to lots of beautiful walking routes, parks and open spaces. I have two friendly, well-socialised dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs, helping visiting pets feel relaxed and at home. I also have two dog-savvy children who have grown up around dogs and understand how to interact with them respectfully. I will follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise needs and any special requirements, so they feel comfortable and settled while in my care.

About: A happy hello, we're Debbie and Dave, dog lovers and cat cuddlers. We've 50+ FIVE STAR reviews on another pet sitting platform (just ask for a link). We recently joined Rover, but on other sites, we've cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, a hamster, and a pig. 100% of our FIVE STAR reviews have come from real pet parents who've trusted us to care for their pets. We're fully insured and are non smokers. Now for the fun bit: WE ADORE FURRY SNUGGLES! We're so happy to have shared our "official" pet/house sitting journey with 80+ furry friends PLUS a colony of 12 outdoor cats, and 22 feathery friends, and we're delighted (OVER THE MOON!) when we're asked back for return sits. We are a couple, which means pets get double the cuddles, attention, and love for the price of one. It's especially helpful for multiple pets, and energetic dogs or those that pull on the lead. We have had many loved pets ourselves over the years, but none of our own nowadays. Between us our own pets in the past have included dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, fish, a duck, and a parrot, but none of our own nowadays. So how did our pet sitting life begin?... We used to care for our son’s Boston Terrier as he worked away a lot, but he moved to Spain, and took Dory (our grand-pup) with him, and they're now settled with a family of their own in Spain. That's when our thoughts of pet sitting began, having a void in our lives with them gone, and being unable to have pets with travelling to visit them for extended periods. We LOVE pet sitting, but what began as a way to top up our hearts with furry snuggles, fast became an amazing full-time way of life, filled with fun and furry characters. In 2023, we turned our own home into a holiday cottage while we spent time with fun and furry new friends. On the house-sitting side of things, we've plenty of experience, from owning our own home, owning rental properties, and carrying out refurbishments on our various properties too. Also, I (Debbie) used to own a cleaning business that employed 12 staff until I sold it many years ago. Therefore, we are used to caring for properties, and have a common-sense approach, should anything unknown happen, like frozen pipes or power cuts. We live a quiet life, we're polite and friendly with neighbours, we're well-behaved, and house trained! Some pets just don't settle very well in kennels, catteries, and other people's homes, and we'd love to help if we can, so please feel free to ask any questions. We're very friendly and more than happy to answer anything. PS If you haven't had anyone stay in your home to look after your pets before, you'll find us very easy to chat with. We care for pets the way that suits each pet's individual needs and characteristics. With feeding times and walks, we're totally flexible around your particular pet's needs, and what makes them happy. We're fully ensured, non-smokers. From dog walking to cat cuddling, we love surrounding ourselves with animals. We also care for pets in their own homes while their owners take a well deserved trip, this means the only thing that changes is the person who is caring for them and giving them strokes and affection. So they can stay where they are happiest, with familiar smells and surroundings. Medication/Extra TLC: We've cared for many pets on various types of medication, with many different ailments, just ask for more details. We have a soft spot for those that need a little extra TLC and the elderly ones too. Shy or timid pets: Pets warm to us very quickly to us, and our reviews are testimony to that. We're fantastic with those that are shy, timid, and afraid of the world. We've 40+ FIVE STAR reviews on another pet sitting platform. Just ask for the link.
“Would highly recommend Ella-Marie. She was always on time and left feedback after every walk. Photos and updates always gave us peace of mind whilst we were away that Harley was looked after on his walks.”

About: I’m a dog mom to a Siberian Husky mix, and I’ve been caring for dogs since 2015. Over the years, I’ve raised and trained both puppies and rescue dogs, volunteered with animal shelters and rescue groups, and fostered dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I treat each one with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own. I’d love to care for your pup and make them feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I have plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I can provide regular walks, playtime, and attention based on each dog’s routine and needs. I follow your pet’s routine, keep things tidy, and give them lots of love and attention. I want them to feel safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away.
About: I have had dogs from a young age and currently have a cockerpoo for past 8 years. I am local to Durham and my rates are the same whether it’s a holiday period or not. I work adhoc so can be available during weekdays and weekends. Just enquire and will let you know when / where and I’ll get back to you I have a fenced rear garden and have my own dog so can walk on their own or with company if my dog on a lead.
About: I had a cocker spaniel until recently but unfortunately she had to be rehomed. I love dogs and grew up with them. I live alone in a nice estate surrounded by great dog walks. I work full time Monday -Friday but weekends and evenings are free and I have some Mondays and Fridays off. I can also work from home during the week so weekdays for daycare are also a possibility. Enclosed back garden and your dog would have full use of my house, or whatever rules you want in place. I’m a dog lover and I would love to have the company of your pet. I have some Mondays and Fridays off. I generally work 8-4pm Monday - Friday but I can work from home and my evenings and weekends are free. I have a rear enclosed garden with a 6ft high fence, grass and paved area with plenty of plants and greenery. It’s not a huge garden but enough for your pet to have a little run around. I would want the dog to be happy and in my company with plenty of walks, cuddles, sitting beside me etc.
“Absolutely brilliant. Communication from Jamie was great. Was a hot day so brought along water for when Maya needed a drink. Definitely recommend and will be booking again regularly.”

About: I have a year of hands-on pet care experience, and caring for dogs has been part of my life for years — my family used to run a German Shepherd dog farm. This taught me discipline, confidence, and how to understand dogs’ behaviour. I’m kind, reliable, and I treat every pet like my own, including pets that need extra attention such as senior dogs. In terms of availability, I work from home on Fridays, so I can fully commit to pet sitting that day, as well as weekends. I’m also happy to do evening walks during the week. When caring for pets in my home or the owner’s home, I prioritise safety, routine, and comfort. I follow the owner’s instructions closely (feeding, walks, playtime) and keep the environment secure by checking doors/gates and removing anything unsafe. During walks, I use safe handling and avoid risky situations. I’m calm, attentive, and happy to give regular updates with photos for reassurance.

About: I am currently a full-time firefighter but due to shift work, it means I have a lot of time off of work. I have a huge passion for animals and believe their welfare is as important as any humans. From working as a firefighter means I have developed skills around approaching animals safely and calmly. Understanding animal behaviour, and handling aggressive or frightened animals. I am training in providing basic first aid and life support to animals. Due to working shifts means I have a huge amount of flexibility throughout the week. I only have two days where I am unavailable throughout the day. I will always try to accommodate whatever is best for the client whether that is weekends, late nights, early mornings or multiple visits through the day. I will always have respect for owners homes when it comes to pet sitting. Any rules you would like me to follow I will be obliged to. The home will be left as good as it was before I entered. The care of the pet will always be the main priority of my service.

About: I’ve been around dogs as long as I can remember. since recently moving out, I’ve really miss having them around, and rover is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and understand patience, routine, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I work full time and live alone, so owning a dog isn’t the right choice for me right now, but that makes me even more excited to help care for other peoples pets. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and affection I’ve always given the dogs in my own family. I work 3 days on and 3 days off. So i’m available full days on my days off. This means walks, play times, and check in’s. And since I don’t own any pets myself at the moment, your dog gets my full attention. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cared for my parents dogs for weeks at a time, making sure they are safe, happy, and sticking to their routines. My home has a safe and secure garden and is directly behind a large football field, woodland area and open fields. And as a police employee with a background check, owner can feel confident their pets are with someone responsible.

About: I have had four labradors of my own - from puppies to seniors, so am confident with all ages. I am used to walking big strong dogs on and off the leash as well, and have gone through many puppy/dog training classes with my own boys. i’m currently working part time and at university, so i have plenty of spare time to look after your dogs. I am available most if not all weekends, and all day monday/thursday/friday. I do not offer boarding services in my own home, however i am very adaptable to whatever you need/do for your pet in your own home.
About: I’m a friendly, reliable dog walker with over 7 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Known for a positive attitude, strong understanding of animal behaviour, and a commitment to keeping pets happy, safe, and well-exercised. I pride myself in caring for each dog’s individual needs while out walking, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-exercised. I only offer a walking service currently

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, caring for numerous dogs of all different types and sizes. I am finishing up my PhD in genetics, I have a passion for animals and have volunteered in multiple animal sanctuaries and I especially love taking care of dogs. I have an active lifestyle and this makes it easy for me to tire out some of the more energetic dogs. Your dog will get lots of love and everything will be done to make sure your pet has a wonderful stay. Look forward to hearing from you! :)
About: For as long as I can remember, my family and I have had pet companions to share our love with. I grew up with two cats before our dog Phoebe joined the family. Sadly, I had to leave them in my parents and sister’s care when I moved to university (or maybe the other way round). Since then, I have been requesting daily updates on them so I understand an owner’s unwavering obsession with their companion’s well being and will gladly send updates by the minute if need be! I used to fill the gaps in time spent away from my guys by volunteering to petsit for friends and family. With this experience I realised how the feeling of responsibility may increase when I’m looking after someone else’s pet while the enjoyment I get from their presence does not change. So I can comfortably say that this job would be nothing less than a pleasure. My accommodating student schedule also means that I’m free to spend time with your little amigos whenever necessary! As a PPE student, most of my lectures are condensed around noon leaving my mornings, evenings and weekend’s free for the most part. Although I have social commitments outside of my course these tend to be very flexible and can be rescheduled when I get the chance to chill out with your pet for a while! I always like to make sure that a pet’s safety and health comes first by taking care of all their needs specified by their owner and am comfortable giving them any form of regular medicine they may need. Other than that I enjoy an active lifestyle so would be keen to walk or play with your pets whenever you or they feel is necessary.
About: I am a 36 year old hospitality consultant living and working in County Durham. I live with my fiance and our dog, a 4 year old corgi named Ibra. She is super friendly and trusting! We all love to spend time with animals and are confident in our abilities to take care of pets no matter their size, age or needs. I feel so lucky to be able to meet and look after other dogs in my spare time - and it’s great for Ibra to socialise! We loves walks in the forest close to our house and have a secure back garden, plus plenty of space indoors! We look forward to meeting you :) I work full time but arrange my schedule so that I have busy weeks and then free days off in blocks! My availability is always up to date in the app, but it’s difficult to say how things ‘usually’ are, as the free time could be mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends etc! I live in a ground floor apartment surrounded by lots of green spots and close to the botanical gardens. The building had a roof terrace which is rarely used - so it’s perfect to take some water, snacks and toys up there and let the dogs off the leash! It’s is perfectly safe, and surrounded by a complete glass barrier. I’m lucky to currently be able to choose when I work and i am enjoying having a relaxing spring! My calendar will always be updated and I wouldn’t put myself as available if I could be distracted by anything work related. I live on a quiet estate in a house with a nice garden, and we have a nice amount of space indoors too. There are plenty of walking opportunities close by, cycle paths and forest walks etc.

Thank you!”

“Katie and the whole family were brilliant for Ralph. He was very well taken care of and I felt very comfortable leaving him from the moment I dropped him off. He got on really well with Russell and the children were amazing with him. He got lots of attention, walks and seemed right at home when I picked him up. I would absolutely ask Katie to watch Ralph again in the future”

“Anna and her husband looked after Koko over the weekend and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were very responsive from the start and kept us updated throughout his stay with messages, photos, and videos, which gave us real peace of mind. They were both incredibly supportive and helpful, and it was clear that Koko was well cared for and comfortable. I truly think he really enjoyed his little staycation with them! We would absolutely recommend Anna and her husband and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.”

“I don’t even know where to start, I genuinely couldn’t have wished for a more caring and loving person to look after my boy 🥹♥️. He’s a very high energy working cocker and she had him sleeping on the sofa within the first few hours. She took him on so many amazing adventures and he had loads of different experiences that I really doubt he wants to be home! From the first meeting she had a mini interview where she asked me absolutely everything about Pickle. What he likes, what each command means, his favourite toys, treats, you name it. From that moment I knew he was going to be in good hands 🥰 I would take him back to Julie in a heartbeat, I’ve never felt relaxed leaving him with anyone and now finally I feel I can enjoy having time away for the first time since having Pickle ♥️🥒”

“We booked Finn in with Larissa as a last minute emergency booking, as have been extremely satisfied! Our dog bounced into their lives! We were kept mostly updated with photo's and comments about his time! When we picked him up he seemed very content, no signs of stress at all! Finn was even given a toy as a parting gift! Finn has been extremely well looked after and we will come back again!”
