About: We've each had our own dogs separately for most of our lives. We've grown up looking after friends or neighbours dogs frequently, we now have our own spaniel together and he loves a play date. I work full time from home as a software developer so I have plenty time and opportunity to play with dogs and let them outside. We have a fenced back garden and a spaniel of our own for your pet to play with, we have plenty room in the office and living rooms for them to relax and play.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of Keith and I. We have grown up with them, had our own dogs, and cared for dogs from puppyhood right through to their senior years. Keith and I have experience with Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and Border Terriers, as well as Schnauzers, Jack Russells and cross-breed dogs. We have also looked after dogs with different needs, including medication, special diets and different exercise routines. At one point, our family home had more than 10 dogs, so we are very used to making sure every dog is fed, cared for and gets plenty of individual attention and affection! We know how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with somebody else, particularly when travelling. That is one of the reasons we decided to offer boarding and day care. We want dogs staying with us to feel as comfortable and settled as possible, and for their owners to feel reassured that they are being properly looked after. We are happy to follow your dog's usual routine, including feeding times, walks, medication and any little habits that help them feel at home. A typical day with us can include morning and evening walks, plenty of time relaxing at home, lots of cuddles and, of course, regular photos and updates for you. We are particularly comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, including puppies and senior dogs. Most importantly, we love having dogs around and would treat your dog as part of our home while they are staying with us. We have flexible working routines and work from home a couple of days a week, which means we can offer plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On day care days, dogs would not be left alone. We can fit walks, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and rest around their usual routine, and we are happy to adapt to what they are already used to at home. We enjoy getting out for walks and have plenty of green spaces nearby, but we are equally happy with dogs who prefer a quieter day, shorter walks and lots of time relaxing on the sofa. We want every dog staying with us to feel safe, comfortable and at home. We live in a mid-terraced house with private front and rear outdoor space, and there are no children or other pets in the home. Dogs are welcome to relax with us on the sofa and furniture, and they can sleep in their own bed so we can keep things as familiar as possible. We always follow the owner's instructions around feeding, walks, medication, special diets and routines. We also take time to understand each dog's personality, including anything that may make them nervous, their usual habits and how they prefer to interact. We also know how reassuring it is to hear how your dog is doing while you are away, so we are very happy to send regular photos and updates during their stay.

About: I have worked in rescue and pet sitting for 10 years now and have fostered over 500 dogs in that time. I have cared for dogs of all different sizes, from chihuahuas to Caucasian shepards, and all different ages, from 9 weeks old to 17 years old. No matter how long I look after each dog whether it be 5 minutes or 5 months I love and care for them as though they were my own. I have experience with a wide range of challenging behaviours such as resource guarding, reactivity, aggression ect. I have qualifications in canine behaviour, nutrition and animal management and veterinary nursing course. I am very flexible and can work around a schedule that fits your pets needs. Pets would be left no more than the odd hour if I needed to pop out for shopping etc but this can also be worked around for any that are unable to be left. I operate between a 6am-10pm for dog sitting to accommodate those starting work early or ending later etc. Your dogs meal times will be incorporated during their stays just let me know when you prefer them to be fed and what (I usually ask owners to provide food themselves just to avoid any allergies or dietary requirements) As a dog sitter/boarder, you dog will be staying in a family home. A full house of 2 young children and a newborn (4+6yrs) myself and my male partner. All dogs are welcome on our sofa and even in our bed (if that is what you allow) we do have some steep stairs to the upstairs area which can be off limits to dogs that are older or have issues with joints etc. A medium sized garden is available and if fully enclosed with some areas of pavement if this is something your dog prefers.
About: Boarding Kennels are a small purpose built, family run dog boarding facility based on our family farm 10 miles west of Durham city. The kennels are run by Ellie, who has both owned and had a passion for dogs their entire lives. Ellie now has a small team of Cocker Spaniels who are gundog trained and love being out working during the shooting season. Being small scale and a dog owner myself, I can offer a bespoke boarding service to your dog, where they will be treated as one of my own. I welcome dogs of all sizes, ages and special requirements. Including puppies, elderly dogs, working dogs, entire males and unspayed females. I work from home, and have a flexible routine meaning we have availability to look after dogs and cats 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I have spent a long time planning my kennels to make them somewhere I would be happy to leave my own dogs. Therefore each kennel has a private heated and insulated sleeping area, as well as a covered individual run with lots of natural light. Dogs will have plenty of opportunity to explore our private farmland and woods while exercising. As standard I supply bedding, towels, leads, bowls and toys. However you are more than welcome to supply your own, as well as many other possessions you feel your dog will need while staying.

About: I had a cocker spaniel until recently but unfortunately she had to be rehomed. I love dogs and grew up with them. I live alone in a nice estate surrounded by great dog walks. I work full time Monday -Friday but weekends and evenings are free and I have some Mondays and Fridays off. I can also work from home during the week so weekdays for daycare are also a possibility. I have a rear enclosed garden with a 6ft high fence, grass and paved area with plenty of plants and greenery. It’s not a huge garden but enough for your pet to have a little run around. I would want the dog to be happy and in my company with plenty of walks, cuddles, sitting beside me etc.
About: I’ve been around dogs as long as I can remember. since recently moving out, I’ve really miss having them around, and rover is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes and understand patience, routine, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I work full time and live alone, so owning a dog isn’t the right choice for me right now, but that makes me even more excited to help care for other peoples pets. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and affection I’ve always given the dogs in my own family. I work 3 days on and 3 days off. So i’m available full days on my days off. This means walks, play times, and check in’s. And since I don’t own any pets myself at the moment, your dog gets my full attention. I have grown up with dogs and regularly cared for my parents dogs for weeks at a time, making sure they are safe, happy, and sticking to their routines. My home has a safe and secure garden and is directly behind a large football field, woodland area and open fields. And as a police employee with a background check, owner can feel confident their pets are with someone responsible.
About: I have taken care of dogs for the most part of my life and I have had many praises for the care and efforts that I put into my work. Dogs will be constantly fed, watered, walked and even trained or washed upon request. We are a very active household who love to get out and about on adventures so your furry friend will never get bored of exploring new places. So I do work during the day, however my partner works from home so is able to take good care of them while I am away. I will walk your dog before I go to work, and as soon as I get back followed by then again in the evening. I have a large, fenced garden for your dog, as well as plenty of toys and balls to play fetch and other dog games to play.
About: I have had four labradors of my own - from puppies to seniors, so am confident with all ages. I am used to walking big strong dogs on and off the leash as well, and have gone through many puppy/dog training classes with my own boys. i’m currently working part time and at university, so i have plenty of spare time to look after your dogs. I am available most if not all weekends, and all day monday/thursday/friday. About: I am a 36 year old hospitality consultant living and working in County Durham. I live with my fiance and our dog, a 4 year old corgi named Ibra. She is super friendly and trusting! We all love to spend time with animals and are confident in our abilities to take care of pets no matter their size, age or needs. I feel so lucky to be able to meet and look after other dogs in my spare time - and it’s great for Ibra to socialise! We loves walks in the forest close to our house and have a secure back garden, plus plenty of space indoors! We look forward to meeting you :) I work full time but arrange my schedule so that I have busy weeks and then free days off in blocks! My availability is always up to date in the app, but it’s difficult to say how things ‘usually’ are, as the free time could be mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends etc! I live in a ground floor apartment surrounded by lots of green spots and close to the botanical gardens. The building had a roof terrace which is rarely used - so it’s perfect to take some water, snacks and toys up there and let the dogs off the leash! It’s is perfectly safe, and surrounded by a complete glass barrier. I’m lucky to currently be able to choose when I work and i am enjoying having a relaxing spring! My calendar will always be updated and I wouldn’t put myself as available if I could be distracted by anything work related. I live on a quiet estate in a house with a nice garden, and we have a nice amount of space indoors too. There are plenty of walking opportunities close by, cycle paths and forest walks etc.

Maxine looked after Heidi and benji as if they were her own we couldn't of asked for a better sitter we think she is amazing and carnt thank her enough. Maxine took the dogs for a few walks leading up to our holiday which was really good to make them feel settled she showed them love and welcomed them into her family.
