I am a lifelong dog ad cat lover with extensive experience, and have been using Rover for a couple of years! Having had dogs since the age of eight, I have experience walking and looking after dogs of all sizes and ages, but especially have experience in large dogs as I walked our giant breed Old English Sheepdog daily for two years. I frequently dogsit and walk him now when my family go away. He was a very large and demanding puppy so I have experience with that, and prior to this I looked after our senior dog and have walked a number of different dogs through Rover. Additionally I am a big cat lover. I have looked after relatives’ cats and have been doing drop ins for cats through Rover for nearly 2 years, before very recently adopting my own two kittens. I live in Chapel Allerton/Moortown area and also drive, happy to take bookings anywhere within a reasonable distance!

My home is extremely dog friendly with a fully secure garden. As I work from home, I am available all day for any playing/toilet breaks and usually can walk before and/or after work, or over lunch. At your home, I am more than happy to drop in or dog sit at yours, as well as walk in your area or drive to somewhere more scenic or better suited.

We had Abbie look after Jasper for 4 visits. She came to meet him beforehand and was very professional, taking notes to make sure she didn’t forget anything. She gave Jasper very thorough report cards and the cutest photos. Would deffo book Abbie again in the future.
Abbie was absolutely fantastic looking after my cat, Rico, while I was away on holiday. She was friendly, reliable and clearly really cares about animals, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Rico was very happy and well looked after, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I’d definitely recommend Abbie to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets, and I’ll absolutely be asking her to look after Rico again. Thank you, Abbie!

Schedule
For drop ins and walks, primarily my availability is in the morning before 9am, lunch time and in the evening, but I work from home so can be quite flexible depending on meetings. Please just message with any enquiries as I will always try to accommodate whatever you’d like. For dogsitting and doggy day care I am regularly available, please just ask!
