Hiya I’m Em, a passionate animal lover and experienced pet carer based in Leeds. I have been caring for pets on and off for 15 years and truly enjoy spending time with animals, they're just so much better than humans! I have cared for cats, dogs, and small animals for over 15 years. I have experience with shy or anxious pets and can provide gentle, patient care. I’ve also looked after senior pets who need extra attention.I have grown up with cats all my life and wanted to be a vet growing up until I realised I needed to be good at Science so am well experienced in knowing what pets need. My recent experience of pet sitting is having Reggie, a colleagues dog board at home for 2 weeks whilst his family were in Thailand and Cat sitting for a friends cat whilst she was away for the Weekend. Both experiences went very smoothly and I received really postive feedabck from these owners. I would love pets of my own one day when the time is right so pet sitting will provide me with loads more practise to add to my experiences and I really feel like your pets can brighten my day and give me a fun extra responsbility which I will cherish! I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. Whether they love cuddles, playtime, or simply a quiet companion, I will adapt my care to make them feel at ease. I am reliable, trustworthy, and will treat your pet as if they are my own. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, so you’ll always know your pet is safe and happy!

I understand that leaving your pet in someone else's care requires trust, and I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every pet I look after. Pet Care in a Pet Owner’s Home: I will be respectful and responsible, treating your home with care, ensuring everything remains tidy and secure while you’re away. I am very routine-focused and will ensure I follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, and play schedules to keep them comfortable and stress-free. Additionally, I will always check that doors, windows, and escape routes are secured before leaving. I will send you regular updates sending daily photos, messages, and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. Finally, I will keep a list of emergency contacts (vet information, alternate contacts) and ensure I am prepared for any emergencies. I have 15 years of pet care experience and genuinely love animals. I will follow all care instructions precisely. I am also confidential and respectful, your pet’s routine and your home’s security are my top priorities. I want to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. Emily is the perfect dog sitter for us and Dexter! Emily is the first person we trusted leaving Dexter with and we are so pleased with the service Emily provides. Emily did such a lovely job looking after our two cats while we were away. She was really easy and quick to communicate with to book and arrange dates, and managed to coax our shy cats out to play and say hello. She sent lots of photos and updated us at every visit. We would absolutely recommend Emily, and will be rebooking, thanks Emily!
Emily is an excellent sitter: arrived punctually, kept me regularly updated, and was great with my 13-week old puppy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can really rely on.

Emily was amazing while house-sitting and looking after our cats. They absolutely loved her (and they’re not easily impressed), which says everything really. She sent us updates a couple of times a day with photos, which we genuinely looked forward to - it made being away so much easier knowing they were happy and well cared for. We came back to a spotless house and very chilled, content cats. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would 100% recommend her and would love to have her again!

Schedule
I offer house sitting and dog walking as part of my weekly routine as I often work from home and am very flexible, ensuring each pet receives the attention and care they need. I am available weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings and can accommodate regular or one-time bookings. My schedule allows me to provide: Morning Walks & Check-ins – Ideal for owners who need early care before work. Midday Walks & Playtime – Great for dogs who need a midday break while their owners are busy. Evening Pet Sitting & Overnight Stays – Perfect for pet parents traveling or working late. I can tailor my care to your pet’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or cuddle time, I’m here to help! I do ask for a few days notice for bookings just to ensure I can dedicate enough time to your pet and also have a 3 day cancellation policy.
