“Would 100% recommend Julie as a sitter to anyone!! Such a lovely woman, attention to detail was second to none and nothing was too much of a problem. Our 8 yr old dachshund Draco can be a bit of a handful, but she was amazing with him and he clearly had such a lovely week with Julie as he’s been pining for her since he got home! We got lots of photos and regular updates which was lovely to see, he had lots of walks & little outings, like his own holiday. We even had an issue on day 2 where our arranged care for our other dachshund Luna was no longer an option, and Julie took her on for the rest of the week as well! I had nothing to worry about in terms of their care all week as they were clearly so well looked after and loved. I will absolutely be rebooking with Julie for future stays, a little home from home for both our dogs 💕”

I'm Addie, 32, she/they. I have experience with multiple dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies, to lurchers and pugs. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.

About: I have experience with different breeds of dog after sitting/boarding for friends and family as well as on here. I live with my fiancé who is also able to help and we live in a pet friendly apartment complex in the city centre. We also have a 2.5 year old mini sausage dog (male) who is super gentle and a great playmate, therefore have lots of toys and comfy beds for the pooches to sleep in. He can be a bit wary at first so it would be great to do a meet&greet first! We would of course look after yours as well as we would our own. We usually take our sausage on a short walk first thing, again after lunchtime and before dinner but happy to adjust to any specific needs. We can provide attention and cuddles, walks and toilet breaks as long and often as the pooch needs, can also provide many toys and stimulation for them.

About: There is a Bichon Frise in my family that is now 10 years old and has no health problems. I take it for a walk three times a day for ten years as usual. I also cook for it in my spare time. I am very good at taking care of dogs I'm a student, but I live alone in an 80-square-meter 2b room. I don't have many classes and won't be away from home for too long The dog can go wherever it wants. I'm very willing to sleep with the dog😀 I will sneak out at least twice a day day

About: I have grown up amongst cats and dogs my whole life, and have previous experience raising 8 week old puppies onwards into lovable, house trained dogs. About: I will ensure your pets come back pawsome! I’m a student but I have hands-on experience caring for very different kinds of dogs. I looked after a Shih Tzu with my mum longer than 10 years, who became blind in old age, and back home in Korea: two poodles and three bichon frisés who are very energetic and attention seeking. Through this I learnt how to be both gentle and structured calm care for senior dogs and active engagement for lively ones. About: I have over 30 years experience caring for dogs and I specialise in caring for small dogs. About: I haven’t owned a dog myself yet, but it’s something I’ve always wanted and I’m hoping to get one in the near future. In the meantime, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience looking after friends’ pets, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel settled and cared for while their owners are away. I really enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they get plenty of attention. I’m really active so love going for walks. I work full time, so I’d be looking for early mornings/evenings in the weekday. I work from home so could be flexible on lunch times too. I have a good availability over the weekend. You can trust me with your pet I will keep them safe and secure at all times. I’ll look after them based on their needs.

I'm Addie, 32, she/they. I have experience with multiple dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies, to lurchers and pugs. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.

“Our initial dog sitter fell through last minute, so by the time we found Lois we were already feeling extremely anxious about leaving Dino behind for the first time and were genuinely questioning whether we should even go away at all. From the moment we met her, Lois completely put us at ease with her calm, kind and reassuring nature. It was immediately obvious how much she genuinely cares for animals, and Dino absolutely adored both her and her beautiful gentle pup. During Dino’s stay, Lois looked after him with so much love, patience and attention, treating him as if he were her own. She also took on an unexpected medication regimen that was only introduced on the very day he went into her care, and handled everything without hesitation or complaint. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She kept us constantly updated with messages, photos and reassurance throughout the week, which made such a difference and allowed us to finally relax knowing Dino was in such safe and caring hands. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and feel incredibly grateful that we found Lois when we did. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate and reliable to care for their pet, and she would absolutely be our first choice again in the future.”

“This was the first time I’ve used the boarding facility via Rover. I’m glad I took the time to read different profiles and find who I thought would be right for my boy. Right from when we first went to meet Charlotte and Josh to see if they were right for us my dog was happy to be around them. During his actual visit he was happy to stay with them and from the messages I received seemed to settle quite quickly. My dog has his foibles and Charlotte and Josh were really keen to understand, by engaging with me, how they might overcome those issues during the stay. They listened to what I had to say and did indeed overcome some stubbornness on the part of my dog. If I need anyone to look after him for a few days again in the future they will definitely be top of my list to contact for support.”
