“I needed a sitter for Leo at short notice. As always, Carmen and Adina to the rescue. Leo loves his time spent here. I received photos and updates throughout the stay. Leo has a second family with adina and Carmen for sure and I cannot recommend enough. Booking in for a few more weeks over the next few months.”

“Jessica and James were outstanding hosts and gave a great impression of how Rover hosts are. We had continuous updates and photos during the day and evening, which was super reassuring for both of us. Maltie persuaded our hosts to allow her to sneak into their bedroom, then jumped onto the bed in the night!! Her favourite place. When collecting Maltie, information was passed back as were all of her belongings. Top star hosts and would definitely use Jessica and James again without any hesitation. Maltie is still very tired, which is good for us. Thank you for looking after Maltie, Jessica and James”

“From the moment we met Marcello he was lovely, polite and switched on, and more importantly our staffy Gizmo loved him straight away. He was lovely and confident with Gizmo, who can be boisterous at times, but that didn’t phase Marcello who clearly liked him and was at ease. We had a meet & greet beforehand where Marcello showed us his lovely flat where Giz would be staying for the day, then once we had dropped Gizmo off, we had pictures through the day of Gizmo on his walks, sleeping and generally having a wonderful time. We felt confident that Gizmo was well looked after all day and would strongly recommend Marcello for anyone looking to have their pet in good hands 👍🏼”

“Tracey helped us out at short notice when we were let down by another sitter. She was very accommodating to Alfie’s needs, gave him long walks and lots of care. We will definitely contact Tracey again next time we need a sitter.”

About: Hi. I’m a professional, qualified actuary based here in Leeds city centre. I have experience dog sitting for a range of dogs (including senior citizens). I’m hoping to build relationships with a few local dogs (and their owners!) for sitting and walking services. I’m located close to Leeds train station and typically head along the canals for walks. I work full time although my work is flexible with when and where I work meaning I can typically adapt my schedule to your needs. I’m very patient and I have cared for nervous dogs in the past so I’m used to quickly building trust with them. I enjoy walks around Leeds city centre or further afield in Yorkshire on the weekend. I live with my partner who is equally caring and loving of dogs.

Would highly recommend her services! Thank you ❤️”

Our cats, who do not like strangers a lot, warmed up to her pretty quickly. When we came home they were relaxed and obviously well cared for. Thank you katrina - will definitely seek your service again”

About: I grew up with a Sheltie and a mixed-breed dog, and through years of living closely with them, I developed a deep understanding of animals' emotional and physical needs. This lifelong bond has shaped the way I care for every pet, treating them with the same love and attention I would give my own. In addition to my own dogs, I've cared for many breeds including Dobermans, Corgis, Poodles, Huskies, and Border Collies, as well as cats. I always aim to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for each pet while their owners are away. Your pets are in experienced, caring hands! I work from home and am available to provide dedicated pet care. Your pets will receive my full attention, with flexible scheduling for walks, visits, and cuddles! There would be no other pets in the my accommodation, ensuring a peaceful environment and avoiding any potential pet conflicts. When staying with pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe - I aim to provide same love and care to your pets as you provided for them. I will stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots. I will also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.
“Fredy and Christian took great care of our Bramble, we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for lovely and kind dogsitters! They gave us great updates and some incredible photos of Bram. We're really glad we found her 🐶”

“Rebecca and Kyle have been absolutely fab with my large boy Peanut in his daycare. Absolutely recommend them for your pooch…I will definitely be booking again!”

“Grace and Sam have looked after Norman for the last two days and it’s safe to say he has loved every second! Grace was so reassuring and sent lots of photos and updates. About: I'm an animal lover that loves to spend time with animals, particularly dogs and I've been dog-walking and looking after cats and the like for a few years now. I've walked dogs of all different sizes, personalities and breeds - my personal favourite has been Fred the Bassett Hound as they're known for their stubborn-ness but when they love you, they love big! One of my favourite things to do is to sing and play to them! (I play guitar) They love it every time - especially puppies :) I also have experience assisting with new pet additions to the family, and have helped a number of pups settle into routines and potty training. And I've helped to improve older dogs in their recall where there was very little before! I love walks myself and and enjoy taking doggies to play at local parks to socialise with other friends. And if they're more introverted, they tend to let the other dogs know! I've been fortunate to dog and cat sit all over the world on my travels, including boarding stays in LA, New York, London and now Leeds :) I work from home (except for some Thursdays) and am currently finishing my research Masters also so am very present for quality time. I am mostly a homebody so am around also most evenings where pets are not left alone for lengthy periods. I live in a spacious flat and can house crates if required, smoke-free, arty, and clean :) I treat animals with the individual attention and care that they need, based on what they themselves let me know upon meeting and getting to know - just like people!
“Dawn made everything very simple and stress-free. We visited her home a few days before. Dawn made us feel completely at ease and was happy to answer any questions. As soon as we left Bruno, we could hear him crying, but just a few minutes later Dawn was already sending us messages showing him calm and relaxed, which immediately put our minds at ease. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and comments about how Bruno was doing. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy — a clear sign that he enjoyed his day with Dawn.”

“Caitlin has been so wonderful in looking after our doggo. Its a relief to know he is walked and fed and cared for. I get great updates and communication is very easy with her. Thanks Again 🥰”

About: I have experience caring for family friends’ lovely Cocker Spaniels, regularly looking after them, taking them on walks around my neighbourhood and making sure they are always safe, happy and comfortable. I always make sure they are fed, have plenty of playtime and receive lots of attention and affection. I genuinely get so excited to see them, and now whenever they see me, they greet me with lots of excited kisses! I am responsible and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I pay close attention to their behaviour and individual needs, and I would always follow an owner’s instructions carefully to make sure their pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I understand how important it is to know that your pet is in safe and caring hands, and I would always do my best to give them the same love and attention I would give my own. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time between lectures to fit pet care into my routine. I can dedicate time to walks, playtime, feeding and giving pets the attention they need. I’m available through the day on weekdays and weekends, making it easy for me to work around your pet’s routine and provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for a pet in their owner’s home, I would always prioritise the pet's routine, comfort and safety. I’m reliable and punctual, and would make sure to follow their usual feeding, walking, play and sleeping routines as closely as possible. I also pay attention to small details, such as what helps a pet feel calm and comfortable, so I can provide care that is suited to them as an individual. Clear communication with the owner is also important to me. I would keep them updated and let them know about anything unusual or concerning. I would also treat their home with the same respect and care as I would my own. I believe proper preparation prevents poor performance, so I would make sure I understand the pet’s needs and the owner’s instructions before starting.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog and some of my friend’s dogs since I was 12. Until now all dogs have found me likeable and I believe that this can be due to my joyous and caring personality. I enjoy spending time taking long walks and play with dogs. I am currently studying part time, therefore I have plenty of free time to take care and play with your dogs! If my classes do not clash I can be available even when you need me on the same day as I enjoy spending my spare time with dogs. I live in an accommodation therefore dogs cannot enter. However, I am keen on taking them on walks anytime of the day and play with them
About: I’ve been around lots of different lovely cats and other animals for many years, and I’m very confident in looking after them in whatever they need💖🫶✨ I have a hybrid job so I’m able to work from home when needed, I’m up at 7am everyday and sleep quite late. I’m definitely a homebody so I’m in at the weekends quite often. I live in a flat in the first floor with no balcony, but outdoor access is very easy, and I live near some green areas.

About: Hi Everyone, I’m Sophie! Me and my family adopted my dog Ellie all the way back in 2013 from a rescue shelter in Greece and she will be turning 13 next June, as well as this over the years I have taken care of family friends pets for example taking them for walks and staying overnight in the house or even just popping in to make sure that they’re okay, although still being young at 21 years old, i’ve been surrounded by dogs by entire life, I used to attend puppy classes when Ellie was younger, helping train her up with recall and general behaviour, as well as this i would consider myself knowledgeable in the emotional side of dogs, if they’re feeling down or anxious I have taught myself by experience and research how I can help, I am currently in the process of looking into completing a level 2 qualification linked to dogs needs I love to have fun on walks, going to see new places with your pooch, playing fetch with there ball or even just enjoying a brisk stroll :) I am a university student however I am only in university 2 to 3 days a week being off Mondays and Tuesdays and having availability all weekend but even in the days that I am there I am free morning times and most days apart from that available after 3 pm However for plans such as check ins for your pet I am available any day of the week to do that in the mornings, please just let me know what your arrangements are and i can work around them For overnight care, I am also available any day of the week, my only thing to note is that a few days a week I would have to leave your residence early after the following day for university, This would only be on Thursdays and Fridays, so if that’s the case it may be important to see if somebody else can pop in for them in that time gap which is normally around 12-3 pm But the rest of the days, and also holidays such as easter, I would be able to stay as long as required Your dog is my first priority! When taking care of pets in their owners home i’d like to make sure that it feels just like their owner never left, by knowing the dogs needs and what they require as I know a lot of dogs can get very anxious when their owners are away, if they feel comfortable sleeping on the bed with me then I’m perfectly happy for that and any specific place that they would want to go outside of the house. I’m happy to attend to. Before agreeing to pet sitting I am happy to come over and view the house to make sure you think id be a good fit for your dog and that they feel comfortable being in the house with me, I think its important to make sure that we bond well together to put your mind at ease
“Rachel was wonderful with Beanie. She was super accommodating and made sure to come meet us ahead of her first walk, I've appreciated the updates and photos, would definitely recommend. Thank you Rachel!”

About: I’ve loved dogs, especially big breeds, for as long as I can remember. Ive grown up surrounded with Labradors and often look after my mum’s two, Hope and Bramble, who are both reactive, so I’m used to handling (being a maid) to both of them and their individual needs (it’s okay they make up for it with cuteness) I can’t currently have a dog of my own due to my landlord’s permissions, so I’m looking to get my dog fix by giving yours plenty of walks, cuddles and attention! 💖 I currently work full time during the week as a project manager in the railways, and I am in the last couple months of my degree. I would love to help out other working dog parents on evenings or weekends - you can have the night off and your baby will be safe with me x Whilst I am unable to petsit at my home, I have my own transport so I am happy to homestay at your property when required and provide regular video/call updates as required whilst you are away. My fiance and I are also active hikers so bonus points if you have a big baby who would like to join us on our adventures sometimes! I’d love to build up relationships with the owners as well as the pups! 🌸
“Our dog adores Liam, always happy to see him. Liam brings with home many years of living with dogs and academic qualifications, not only is he giving our dog the daytime exercise and attention he needs, but also experience on how to raise and train a puppy. Thank you Liam”
“Katrina was absolutely amazing. The girls loved her, were excited to see her and were happy when they came home, even aida who can be shy around strangers! Great communication, photos from their walks of the dogs happy and content which made us at ease that they were comparable with her! Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my two girls, making it so stress free and getting two well exercised and happy dogs home after their walks! Would definitely reccomend Katrina to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their pets, she has an amazing connection with animals which is lovely to see. Thanks again from me and the girls!”

About: I am a reliable, trust worthy person which is shown from having worked as a doctor for 2 years. I spent a vast amount of my time around my relative and friends dogs since childhood, and love the companionship dogs provide. I have provided dog sitting both during the day and overnight for a variety of dogs and am confident in looking after them for extended periods. I’m currently working part time as a bank doctor which means I am able to pick and choose when I work. I am therefore available 7/7 days a week at any time and will book shifts around my dog sitting. I live in a flat that is dog proof. I will spend the majority of the time with the dogs on walks and at the park, but will also be able to keep dogs in the flat and overnight if needed
“Christian was great and really helped us with dog walking during some busy days we had here! He was super kind to Fondant, and showed up everyday at the agreed time, even on discouraging rainy days.”

About: I have always had an affiliation with animals, having grown up surrounded by dogs and cats I am lucky to have lots of experience caring for them. I currently have three rescue dogs of my own, that I completely adore. They’ve provided me experience with different breeds and energy/ behaviour types. I currently work part time in a restaurant, therefore I have a pretty open schedule midweek to care for your pets! I work nights across Friday-Monday, meaning I am available across the mornings to help out. I have a securely fenced garden space, and my three are very friendly with other dogs once they get to know each other. However I understand it can overwhelming for your pets to be out of their environment and bunched in with our pooches! I’ve pet sit multiple times and can be trusted to be responsible and caring of your home when hanging out with your pets.
About: I’ve grown up around animals, having both a cat and a dog of my own, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Since living in Leeds, I’ve regularly walked dogs for clients, including Kevin and Macey, building trusted relationships with both the dogs and their owners. I also have plenty of experience with cats. I lived with my housemate’s cat, Truffle, who I frequently looked after, and I’ve cat-sat Cora and Leo while their owners were away. Over the summer and holiday periods, I regularly pet sit for friends and clients when they travel, so I’m comfortable taking responsibility for pets for longer periods as well as shorter visits and walks. I’m confident with feeding, walking, playtime, companionship and following each pet’s individual routine. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know their different personalities. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’m always happy to send plenty of photos and updates while owners are away! 🐾 Pet care fits really well into my routine and I have plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting throughout the week. I’m also available during weekends, lunchtime and holiday periods. I love being outdoors, so dog walks are something I genuinely enjoy rather than just a job! I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine and can discuss timings with owners depending on what they need. I understand how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s care. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication or any individual needs. I’m respectful of people’s homes and make sure pets are safe, comfortable and given plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾

With how experienced I am with dogs, I can assure you your dogs are safe in my hands and I would do anything to ensure their safety. I've been surrounded by all kinds of dogs since birth. My mum is a dog groomer of 6 years who I have helped over the years. I have currently 4 yorkshire terriers that I have taken care of since they were puppies so I have the experience with senior dogs and puppies. From the age of 16, I have taken care of dogs all different sizes and ages in their homes from 1-2 weeks while the family were away on holiday. I am currently available nearly every day of all summer as I am a full time student at University of Liverpool and staying at home in Leeds over the summer. I currently cannot take pets to my home. However, in my home all my dogs are crate trained and have their own crates we keep them in while we're not home

About: I grew up alongside with animals which makes me passionate and experienced into taking care of animals such as rabbits, cats, and dogs. I am used to looking after cats and dogs. I am an university student who is away from home and from my three lovely cats, I am now looking for opportunities where I can spend time with dogs and cats-something I really enjoy doing, and hoping to earn some living cost along the way of this process. I am a reliable and friendly person, and also has a flexible schedule, I am happy to take up enquires anytime, to tailor made to your needs. My availabilities covers weekends, evenings, and holidays, drop me a text to work out timings! I am someone who is attentive to details. I take pride in being observant about the surroundings and your pet's situation to keep everyone safe! If the service occurs in your residence, I take extra precautions to make sure your home is secured, with doors and windows secured as I enter and leave your home. I encourage my clients to schedule a time before the first care session whenever possible to make sure all details about your house and your pet's habits can be taken care of. For instance, I have experience taking care of pets with a tendency to run out of doors/ windows, or dogs that are still learning to walk on leash.

“We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Ralph loved Rebecca! He seemed very at home with her and looked to love his walks with in the sun! Rebecca was so easy to arrange everything with - quick replies & clear communication. We’ll definitely rebook again. Thank you!!”

“Artur looked after my dog called scooby, he was amazing with him. We had 3 x daily updates including pictures of scooby, which was brillant to see and scooby looked happy and relaxed. You can see Artur really cares for the animals he looks after and I will definitely use again in the future. Artur was easy to book through rover, really easy to communicate with and arrange time for drop off and collection. Thank you for taking good care of scooby ❤️”

“Rebecca and Kyle are lovely people, and both Bree & Cuddles came back to us after a 2 night stay happy and well looked after (although Bree gave me some side eye later in the day for leaving her in the first place 😆). I would happily use Rebecca and Kyle again. Thanks!”

“Our one year old Labrador really seemed to settle on his boarding with Louisa. Her flat is perfect for a dog that loves outdoor space and Louisa’s communication before and during the stay was excellent. Would highly recommend.”

“Dan was wonderful. He made me feel so at ease about leaving them for the first time. I was sent lots of pictures of them having fun. He’s really knowledgeable about dogs and they definitely had a home from home experience. Will definitely be booking again”

“Ted had a great time and was really well looked after. He came home very happy and relaxed, which is always the best sign! We felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands and would happily book again. Highly recommend!”

“Rolo had a Fantastic time with Georgia and family for the week. Georgia kept us up to date with Rolos adventures through messages and pictures. Would certainly be using Georgia again.”

“Deirdre and Liam were absolutely amazing with our Hachi. He immediately felt comfortable and settled with them, and we received lots of lovely photos and updates of Hachi having a wonderful time and receiving lots of care and attention. Hachi actually cried on the way home as he missed them! Thank you both so much! 😊”

“We are very happy with our experience and are very thankful for not only him taking such good care for our dog but also the very helpful suggestions he provided us. His experience has also made him a very reliable choice for if we need a dog-sitter again!”

“Helen and Andy were absolutely amazing with our dog, Kobe! This was Kobe’s first time staying away from home, so we were a bit nervous— especially since he’s an energetic miniature cockapoo, but they made the entire experience really good and reassuring. From the start, it was clear they were both experienced with handling high-energy dogs. Kobe instantly took to them, which says a lot. They kept him active, engaged, and happy the whole time, and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention and care. We also really appreciated the regular updates—they gave us peace of mind knowing Kobe was doing great and having fun (especially playing with Bonnie!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Helen and Andy again! Thank you!”

“Our flight was overbooked and had no chance to return the other day. Adam was very nice and kind to look after our dog (Shake Shake) for an extra day! I would say if you live nearby and need someone to help look after your pet. You came to the right place!”

About: I have looked after pets for friends, family, and neighbours ever since I was young and always build a special bond with any pet I am lucky enough to spend time with. Whether it’s walking or sitting, I always take time with owners to understand their pet’s needs and to reassure that their pet will be given the best care and attention. I currently work from home 4 days a week with the occasional week where I need to travel for 1-2 days. I am flexible and can provide week long or weekend stays I have a fenced garden and plenty of great walking routes nearby including a shady wood for those hot days and multiple parks with fields for roaming My house is roomy and perfect for pooches to laze about in
“Thomas looked after our dog, Binky, really well for an overnight stay. He was really welcoming and took care to understand her routines, likes and dislikes. His home and garden are secure for animals. I would definitely recommend Thomas and book with him again too.”
