“Jessica and James were outstanding hosts and gave a great impression of how Rover hosts are. We had continuous updates and photos during the day and evening, which was super reassuring for both of us. Maltie persuaded our hosts to allow her to sneak into their bedroom, then jumped onto the bed in the night!! Her favourite place. When collecting Maltie, information was passed back as were all of her belongings. Top star hosts and would definitely use Jessica and James again without any hesitation. Maltie is still very tired, which is good for us. Thank you for looking after Maltie, Jessica and James”

“Lovely family and really cared for my Iris bedlington terrier. Sent lots of photos which really reassured us as it was the first time we have left her behind and was quite nervous and sad about leaving her. Can't recommend Kirsty and the rest of her wonderful family and will definitely be using their services if and when we next dare go away!”

“I needed a sitter for Leo at short notice. As always, Carmen and Adina to the rescue. Leo loves his time spent here. I received photos and updates throughout the stay. Leo has a second family with adina and Carmen for sure and I cannot recommend enough. Booking in for a few more weeks over the next few months.”

Susan made sure Lilly had all her needs met and went above and beyond to make her stay eventful and enjoyable (with lots of walks, play and cuddles). Daily updates were a joy to get. We enjoyed our holiday knowing that Lilly was having the best time. If you are looking for someone that is not just a sitter but makes your dog part of their family Susan is the person for you. “I had a wonderful experience with Tamsin. She was very punctual and provided daily reports plenty of details with lots of photos. Everything went very well and my cats loved her as pet sitter. Tamsin managed to interact with Siri. Siri is avery shy cat who takes weeks or even months to approach someone outside her daily circle. I highly recommend Tamsin services.”

“Isabel is great :) We've even already had her back. I have 2 very different cats: Immortal is a spoiled baby who cries at 6am for treats and to go out in the garden; whilst Peggy is a typical scaredy cat. She was very patient to win Peggy over and with Immortal's demands. And also with me, anxious cat mama with many detailed instructions.”

“Claire was really nice and took time to get to know my cats (one of them is fairly shy). Claire sent me some lovely updates, whilst I was away, and both cats seemed to get on very well with her: they were happy and relaxed, both in the photos, and on my return.”

About: Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their cats, trusting me to feed, play, and check in on their pets. Whether it’s providing their favourite treats, engaging in play, or simply offering some quiet companionship, I always ensure that each cat feels safe and loved 🥰 I understand how important it is to maintain a familiar routine, so I make sure to stick to their feeding and care schedule. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your cat is in caring, responsible hands.

About: I come from a family of working dog breeders and boarders for and have a plethora of experience with many different dog breeds alongside some show cat breeds so I understand not two pets are the same and you can’t assume anything! I have on and off dog and cat sat for friends and known contacts but not professionally on an app such as Rover before!

“Natassia was awesome! She was very friendly and helpful and came to meet our cat prior to us going away. Though he hid from her on their first meeting, when she came over to feed him, he was a lot more comfortable with her, and thankfully wasn't too stressed out by the situation. Natassia saw that our cat was well fed and had some interaction and treats while we were away, and sent us photos and videos to put us at ease. I'm so glad to see how calm and cared for our cat was when we returned home!”

“As usual Justyna gave lots of updates and made us feel confident Tinker was being well looked after. She is reliable and was able to help us out last minute when we had a change of plans!”

About: I have had cats since childhood and have cared for my own cats over the years since I was 16. I currently have two cats of my own, Melek, who is 9yrs and Bohdi, who is 4yrs, so I’m very familiar with their routines, personalities and the fact that they generally believe they own the house. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter trays, play, companionship and giving cats space when they want it. I understand that every cat is different and I’m happy to follow their usual routine so they feel as settled and secure as possible while their owner is away.

About: I haven’t owned a cat myself yet, but it’s something I’ve always wanted and I’m hoping to get one in the near future. I love looking after my partners cat marmite! In the meantime, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience looking after friends’ pets, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel settled and cared for while their owners are away. I really enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection.

“Hattie has been amazing! This was the first time I’d ever used daycare for my dog Stan so I was a bit nervous and Hattie really helped put my mind at ease from the start. Hattie is flexible, responsive, experienced and sends lots of photos and updates during the day, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, Stan loves it and was clearly happy to go back! We're really glad we found her 🐶”

About: I grew up with a Sheltie and a mixed-breed dog, and through years of living closely with them, I developed a deep understanding of animals' emotional and physical needs. This lifelong bond has shaped the way I care for every pet, treating them with the same love and attention I would give my own. In addition to my own dogs, I've cared for many breeds including Dobermans, Corgis, Poodles, Huskies, and Border Collies, as well as cats. I always aim to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for each pet while their owners are away. Your pets are in experienced, caring hands! I work from home and am available to provide dedicated pet care. Your pets will receive my full attention, with flexible scheduling for walks, visits, and cuddles! There would be no other pets in the my accommodation, ensuring a peaceful environment and avoiding any potential pet conflicts. When staying with pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe - I aim to provide same love and care to your pets as you provided for them. I will stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots. I will also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.
“Jenna took care of my dog Sandy for a day on very short notice and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was wonderful with Sandy and I received some lovely photos throughout the day. When I picked Sandy up, she was happy, relaxed and clearly had a great time. I highly recommend Jenna and would definitely book with her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Sandy! ❤️xx”

“Fantastic day visit for little Nylah in preparation for her staying with Julie later this month. Lots of attention and pics on how she was doing. One happy puppy and owner ☺️”

“Pearl is a great dog sitter. She has a true passion and love for dogs. My 6 year old pug had a nice time staying with Pearl and her puppy. She looked after him well and kept me posted with texts and pics throughout the day. Would recommend her to everyone who is looking for a good care for their furry baby.”

“Rebecca and Kyle have been absolutely fab with my large boy Peanut in his daycare. He is nervous around new people but I could tell from the pictures he settled in on his first visit and can tell they live doggos. He now gets excited when we pull up in the car. Absolutely recommend them for your pooch…I will definitely be booking again!”

“Fredy and Christian took great care of our Bramble, we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for lovely and kind dogsitters! They gave us great updates and some incredible photos of Bram. He seemed to be reluctant to leave when we picked him up so I can only guess he's had the best time with them!”
About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was little and gone on hired dog walks as I always wanted a dog of my own! I now have a nearly 4 year old border collie and have plenty of experience with dogs. She is trained to do all sort of fun tricks (even buttons) and just simply love being around dogs - whether that’s for a down time cuddle or for playing around outside. Happy to take dogs as grouped walk with my own pooch or if they prefer without company too! I’m currently working on a project that will be from home most of the time, so there will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, long walks, lots of cuddles and play time! I have a long fenced garden, not along any big roads. Not only this but a gentle border collie who loves to play, will happily share toys and treats and simply loves making friends!
“Thank you so much to Hannah and her housemate who were really accommodating with a last minute booking with an early start. My anxious girl was really well looked after and even shared some cuddles which is rare. Thank you 🙏”

“Grace and Sam have looked after Norman for the last two days and it’s safe to say he has loved every second! Grace was so reassuring and sent lots of photos and updates. They both clearly love dogs and we are so pleased we have found them, Norman is already booked in for next month! Would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you both so much!”

“Dawn made everything very simple and stress-free. We visited her home a few days before. Dawn made us feel completely at ease and was happy to answer any questions. As soon as we left Bruno, we could hear him crying, but just a few minutes later Dawn was already sending us messages showing him calm and relaxed, which immediately put our minds at ease. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and comments about how Bruno was doing. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy — a clear sign that he enjoyed his day with Dawn.”

To say he is 10 weeks I was a little apprehensive about if he would settle but he got on and played with Obi so well and Christos was so amazing at keeping me up to date. Ronnie came back and slept through the night for the first time I'm not sure he even wanted to come home 😂 wouldn't use anyone else!”

About: I am a reliable, trust worthy person which is shown from having worked as a doctor for 2 years. I spent a vast amount of my time around my relative and friends dogs since childhood, and love the companionship dogs provide. I have provided dog sitting both during the day and overnight for a variety of dogs and am confident in looking after them for extended periods. I’m currently working part time as a bank doctor which means I am able to pick and choose when I work. I am therefore available 7/7 days a week at any time and will book shifts around my dog sitting. I live in a flat that is dog proof. I will spend the majority of the time with the dogs on walks and at the park, but will also be able to keep dogs in the flat and overnight if needed

About: I have a great love for all dogs no matter what. I take great care of any dog like they are my own. I will ensure your dog gets all my attention all day every day I am with them. With how experienced I am with dogs, I can assure you your dogs are safe in my hands and I would do anything to ensure their safety. I've been surrounded by all kinds of dogs since birth. My mum is a dog groomer of 6 years who I have helped over the years. I have currently 4 yorkshire terriers that I have taken care of since they were puppies so I have the experience with senior dogs and puppies. From the age of 16, I have taken care of dogs all different sizes and ages in their homes from 1-2 weeks while the family were away on holiday. I am currently available nearly every day of all summer as I am a full time student at University of Liverpool and staying at home in Leeds over the summer. I currently cannot take pets to my home. However, in my home all my dogs are crate trained and have their own crates we keep them in while we're not home
About: I’ve loved dogs, especially big breeds, for as long as I can remember. Ive grown up surrounded with Labradors and often look after my mum’s two, Hope and Bramble, who are both reactive, so I’m used to handling (being a maid) to both of them and their individual needs (it’s okay they make up for it with cuteness) I can’t currently have a dog of my own due to my landlord’s permissions, so I’m looking to get my dog fix by giving yours plenty of walks, cuddles and attention! 💖 I currently work full time during the week as a project manager in the railways, and I am in the last couple months of my degree. I would love to help out other working dog parents on evenings or weekends - you can have the night off and your baby will be safe with me x Whilst I am unable to petsit at my home, I have my own transport so I am happy to homestay at your property when required and provide regular video/call updates as required whilst you are away. My fiance and I are also active hikers so bonus points if you have a big baby who would like to join us on our adventures sometimes! I’d love to build up relationships with the owners as well as the pups! 🌸

About: I have many years of experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits and tortoises of all ages. I have my own pets and understand how important it is to follow each animal’s usual routine and make them feel safe and comfortable. I am calm, reliable and happy to provide walks, feeding, play, companionship and overnight care. I am also comfortable caring for younger animals and pets who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I currently have very good availability up until the end of September and can be flexible depending on your pet’s needs. My availability may change slightly from October due to other work and university commitments, but I’m happy to discuss individual arrangements. Each pet and booking is different, so I tailor my care to individual needs. I will always follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you are away. I’m happy to provide feeding, walks, play, companionship and plenty of reassurance, depending on what your pet enjoys and needs. I will also keep you updated so you know how they are getting on, with messages and photos, as many or as few as requested.

About: I have had dogs my entire life along with other animals such as rabbits, cats and guinea pigs and have cared for family&friends pets for as long as I can remember! I have had experience with training, medication administration, walking and overnight stays! While I am new to doing this professionally, I am confident in saying that my personal experience with animal care has helped me to be reliable, caring and knowledgeable of all things pets!💜 I aim to treat your pets as though they are mine and help them to feel calm and cared for when they are with me💜 I am currently working in a restaurant however I aim to make my pet services business my full time job eventually. While I am available most of the time, my shifts at the restaurant tend to fall on 3-4 days a week usually starting no earlier than 4pm and finishing no later than 12.30am but obviously this is not always guaranteed and my hours and days there do vary. I aim to spend my mornings and afternoons dog walking and doing drop-ins and keep my restaurant shifts primarily in the evenings to ensure reliability and consistency for your pups. My rotas tend to be released 2 weeks in advance so we have plenty of time to work your pups around the schedule until I am in a place where I can make this full time!💜 The reason I do not offer boarding from my own home is because I truly believe in keeping your pets comfortable and in a familiar environment so that our time together can be as comfortable for them as possible. I do wish to provide a few meetings before the sit so that your dogs have the opportunity to get to know me and for me to get to know them so that our time together can flow easily and we can enjoy each others company comfortably. Where this isn’t possible, I would like to aim to spend a couple of hours before you leave with you and your pups in your home so that they are not nervous once you leave them in my care💜

About: I have experience caring for family friends’ lovely Cocker Spaniels, regularly looking after them, taking them on walks around my neighbourhood and making sure they are always safe, happy and comfortable. I always make sure they are fed, have plenty of playtime and receive lots of attention and affection. I genuinely get so excited to see them, and now whenever they see me, they greet me with lots of excited kisses! I am responsible and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I pay close attention to their behaviour and individual needs, and I would always follow an owner’s instructions carefully to make sure their pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I understand how important it is to know that your pet is in safe and caring hands, and I would always do my best to give them the same love and attention I would give my own. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time between lectures to fit pet care into my routine. I can dedicate time to walks, playtime, feeding and giving pets the attention they need. I’m available through the day on weekdays and weekends, making it easy for me to work around your pet’s routine and provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for a pet in their owner’s home, I would always prioritise the pet's routine, comfort and safety. I’m reliable and punctual, and would make sure to follow their usual feeding, walking, play and sleeping routines as closely as possible. I also pay attention to small details, such as what helps a pet feel calm and comfortable, so I can provide care that is suited to them as an individual. Clear communication with the owner is also important to me. I would keep them updated and let them know about anything unusual or concerning. I would also treat their home with the same respect and care as I would my own. I believe proper preparation prevents poor performance, so I would make sure I understand the pet’s needs and the owner’s instructions before starting.
About: I haven’t owned a dog myself yet, but it’s something I’ve always wanted and I’m hoping to get one in the near future. In the meantime, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience looking after friends’ pets, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel settled and cared for while their owners are away. I really enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they get plenty of attention. I’m really active so love going for walks. I work full time, so I’d be looking for early mornings/evenings in the weekday. I work from home so could be flexible on lunch times too. I have a good availability over the weekend. You can trust me with your pet I will keep them safe and secure at all times. I’ll look after them based on their needs.

About: I'm an animal lover that loves to spend time with animals, particularly dogs and I've been dog-walking and looking after cats and the like for a few years now. I've walked dogs of all different sizes, personalities and breeds - my personal favourite has been Fred the Bassett Hound as they're known for their stubborn-ness but when they love you, they love big! One of my favourite things to do is to sing and play to them! (I play guitar) They love it every time - especially puppies :) I also have experience assisting with new pet additions to the family, and have helped a number of pups settle into routines and potty training. And I've helped to improve older dogs in their recall where there was very little before! I love walks myself and and enjoy taking doggies to play at local parks to socialise with other friends. And if they're more introverted, they tend to let the other dogs know! I've been fortunate to dog and cat sit all over the world on my travels, including boarding stays in LA, New York, London and now Leeds :) I work from home (except for some Thursdays) and am currently finishing my research Masters also so am very present for quality time. I am mostly a homebody so am around also most evenings where pets are not left alone for lengthy periods. I live in a spacious flat and can house crates if required, smoke-free, arty, and clean :) I treat animals with the individual attention and care that they need, based on what they themselves let me know upon meeting and getting to know - just like people!
About: Hello! I’m Aisha, I’m 27 and based in Leeds. I happily provide walks and drop ins for all ages of dogs. I have my own dog aged 8 who is the absolute centre of my world and I have had pets of varying kinds for over 20 years. Trusting someone with your best friend is hard but I promise to look after them with genuine love and care so they receive the best. Experience with both puppies and older dogs, I send numerous photos and updates throughout our time together. I am currently available every day due to being between job so there is plenty of time for walks, runs, cuddles and treats! I’m an avid walker, averaging 9KM a day with my own spaniel, but I’m more than happy to do shorter walks or no walks at all - dependant on you and your dogs preferences I absolutely love animals and would always keep your bestie safe. About: Hi Everyone, I’m Sophie! Me and my family adopted my dog Ellie all the way back in 2013 from a rescue shelter in Greece and she will be turning 13 next June, as well as this over the years I have taken care of family friends pets for example taking them for walks and staying overnight in the house or even just popping in to make sure that they’re okay, although still being young at 21 years old, i’ve been surrounded by dogs by entire life, I used to attend puppy classes when Ellie was younger, helping train her up with recall and general behaviour, as well as this i would consider myself knowledgeable in the emotional side of dogs, if they’re feeling down or anxious I have taught myself by experience and research how I can help, I am currently in the process of looking into completing a level 2 qualification linked to dogs needs I love to have fun on walks, going to see new places with your pooch, playing fetch with there ball or even just enjoying a brisk stroll :) I am a university student however I am only in university 2 to 3 days a week being off Mondays and Tuesdays and having availability all weekend but even in the days that I am there I am free morning times and most days apart from that available after 3 pm However for plans such as check ins for your pet I am available any day of the week to do that in the mornings, please just let me know what your arrangements are and i can work around them For overnight care, I am also available any day of the week, my only thing to note is that a few days a week I would have to leave your residence early after the following day for university, This would only be on Thursdays and Fridays, so if that’s the case it may be important to see if somebody else can pop in for them in that time gap which is normally around 12-3 pm But the rest of the days, and also holidays such as easter, I would be able to stay as long as required Your dog is my first priority! When taking care of pets in their owners home i’d like to make sure that it feels just like their owner never left, by knowing the dogs needs and what they require as I know a lot of dogs can get very anxious when their owners are away, if they feel comfortable sleeping on the bed with me then I’m perfectly happy for that and any specific place that they would want to go outside of the house. I’m happy to attend to. Before agreeing to pet sitting I am happy to come over and view the house to make sure you think id be a good fit for your dog and that they feel comfortable being in the house with me, I think its important to make sure that we bond well together to put your mind at ease

About: Growing up I’ve always had pets, from reptiles and fish to dogs and degu’s. My dogs are called coco and Billie and are 11 years old and we have had them since they were puppies! So I would definitely say I have the knowledge and experience to take care of dogs specifically. I am currently a full time university student about to start my 2nd year studying Education, Mental Health and SEND whilst also working part time at a pub! Since it is the summer holidays I have more availability than an average day however I am flexible. The pets in my home are loved and well cared for. They get daily walks and fed multiple times a day (and sometimes a treat)! They receive lots of cuddles and have plenty of toys and are so loved within the home.

“Mickey had great care from Dawn and her two children. It was like home from home. Had regular updates ,videos and photos. Gave us great peace of mind.Would not hesitate to use use Dawn again.”

“Martin was brilliant had never left our dog with anyone other than family she is very people oriented and felt a dog sitter was the only option. Martin invited both me and my dog to come see his home and meet him before confirming the booking. Kept us consistently updated on how she was and left us feeling very reassured that our fury little family member was in safe hands.”

“Artur looked after my dog called scooby, he was amazing with him. We had 3 x daily updates including pictures of scooby, which was brillant to see and scooby looked happy and relaxed. You can see Artur really cares for the animals he looks after and I will definitely use again in the future. Artur was easy to book through rover, really easy to communicate with and arrange time for drop off and collection. Thank you for taking good care of scooby ❤️”

“Rebecca and Kyle are lovely people, and both Bree & Cuddles came back to us after a 2 night stay happy and well looked after (although Bree gave me some side eye later in the day for leaving her in the first place 😆). I would happily use Rebecca and Kyle again. Thanks!”

“Rolo had a Fantastic time with Georgia and family for the week. Georgia kept us up to date with Rolos adventures through messages and pictures. Would certainly be using Georgia again.”

About: I have a 4 year old GSP, she is energetic velcro doc, I have had her since a puppy and have owned puppies / dogs before her. I understand that dogs and cats are a part of the family and need to be treated as such by their sitter. I will give your animal as much care as I do my own ! I can also feed small animals you may have, rabbits, guniea pigs etc I work from home, I drive so I am able to pop out during the working day to feed and let your pet out, depending on how far you are. I am free on weekends as I am the only dog parent for my dog, so Willow is 90% by side. I will respect other peoples homes and ensure everything is left tidy when looking after your pets. I am happy to retrieve your Amazon parcels also ;) I am also punctual and if I say I will be there at a certain time, I will be.

“Dan was wonderful. He made me feel so at ease about leaving them for the first time. I was sent lots of pictures of them having fun. He’s really knowledgeable about dogs and they definitely had a home from home experience. Will definitely be booking again”

“We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Helen and Andy were absolutely amazing with our dog, Kobe! This was Kobe’s first time staying away from home, so we were a bit nervous— especially since he’s an energetic miniature cockapoo, but they made the entire experience really good and reassuring. From the start, it was clear they were both experienced with handling high-energy dogs. Kobe instantly took to them, which says a lot. They kept him active, engaged, and happy the whole time, and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention and care. We also really appreciated the regular updates—they gave us peace of mind knowing Kobe was doing great and having fun (especially playing with Bonnie!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Helen and Andy again! Thank you!”

“We are very happy with our experience and are very thankful for not only him taking such good care for our dog but also the very helpful suggestions he provided us. His experience has also made him a very reliable choice for if we need a dog-sitter again!”

“Our one year old Labrador really seemed to settle on his boarding with Louisa. Her flat is perfect for a dog that loves outdoor space and Louisa’s communication before and during the stay was excellent. Would highly recommend.”

“We’re delighted with Aimee’s care for our 2 dogs. They’ve been looked after with love and clearly have been as comfy with Aimee as they are at home. Would absolutely recommend and book again, thanks so much!”

“From the moment we met Marcello he was lovely, polite and switched on, and more importantly our staffy Gizmo loved him straight away. He was lovely and confident with Gizmo, who can be boisterous at times, but that didn’t phase Marcello who clearly liked him and was at ease. We had a meet & greet beforehand where Marcello showed us his lovely flat where Giz would be staying for the day, then once we had dropped Gizmo off, we had pictures through the day of Gizmo on his walks, sleeping and generally having a wonderful time. We felt confident that Gizmo was well looked after all day and would strongly recommend Marcello for anyone looking to have their pet in good hands 👍🏼”

“Ralph loved Rebecca! He seemed very at home with her and looked to love his walks with in the sun! Rebecca was so easy to arrange everything with - quick replies & clear communication. We’ll definitely rebook again. Thank you!!”

“Our flight was overbooked and had no chance to return the other day. Adam was very nice and kind to look after our dog (Shake Shake) for an extra day! I would say if you live nearby and need someone to help look after your pet. You came to the right place!”

“Jodie took amazing care of our girl! Lots of pupdates about their adventures together whilst we were away and Luna felt right at home with her. Thanks again Jodie! I think you have got yourself a repeat visitor!”
