“Jessica and James were outstanding hosts and gave a great impression of how Rover hosts are. We had continuous updates and photos during the day and evening, which was super reassuring for both of us. Maltie persuaded our hosts to allow her to sneak into their bedroom, then jumped onto the bed in the night!! Her favourite place. When collecting Maltie, information was passed back as were all of her belongings. Top star hosts and would definitely use Jessica and James again without any hesitation. Thank you Christos for taking such great care of Paddy. I would highly recommend Christos. We've come back from holiday and I'm not sure Paddy wanted to leave! He was loved, fed well and had fun. He kept to his routine, made sure he had his daily walks. He sent us videos twice a day, which were so reassuring. We will definitely use him again. It was so comforting knowing he was being cared for so well.
Our puppy hadn't spent much time away from home when he stayed with Adam and Emira so was a bit nervous but they were very relaxed and took special care to make sure he felt comfortable. Got great updates telling us what had been going on and sent a lovely video. Would definitely use them again
Eloise was taking care of my corgi for 26 days, and it felt he trusted her really well, and enjoyed regular and plenty of walks in the park, received good treatments, lots of belly rubbing and cuddles! Eloise even celebrated his 3rd birthday in the park with a real doggy cake while we were away! I think he became a bit chubby but definitely relaxed and pleased I received regular updates with details on health and eating, activities, sleep and state, supported with photo and video. I would recommend Eloise as a dog sitter and border.
Brilliant sitter, Andy went above and beyond! Andy looked after our rescue dog Paolo for just over a week when we were away on holiday, he said it was his first time using rover as a sitter but has had dogs since he was a child. Andy really loves dogs and sent loads of updates with videos/photos. From these I could tell Paolo well cared for with loads of walks where he was playing with balls/toys, he’d even bought a long lead so Paolo could explore further and was doing training with him too. He’d read and followed all our instructions including with Paolo’s medication. His house was perfect, very dog friendly and he works from home so Paolo got lots of attention. Will definitely send Paolo to Andy’s again and would highly recommend him to others. Thank you Andy 🐕
The boarding was cut short but I wanted to write a review based on the reaction to the incident that occurred during Bertie’s stay. Unfortunately during the second day, Bertie began to struggle to walk and climb steps. Ashley immediately sent me a message to check if Bertie had done this before and once I said no this was the first time, he helped me arrange an emergency appointment at the vets. Bertie was diagnosed with an issue with his spine. I have given top review as we were abroad on holiday and Ash did everything he could to help Bertie (with help from my friend, Mike). This included 2 trips to my vet and then to the referral centre (which was over 45 mins drive away). Bertie had surgery and is recovering now, but this could have been different if I had booked someone that waited and did not react like Ash. Thanks
Solomon has had a brilliant week with Laura and Kibou. Excellent communication throughout the week and loads of lovely pics. Felt so reassured throughout the week and was really able to enjoy our holiday without worrying about Solomon. He was definitely in good hands! Will be booking with Laura again!
Cammy was so good with my young and excitable dog. Confident and great at handling his excitability. She took time to make sure he was comfortable with Svenja - who is the most beautiful and intelligent dog. I had loads of pictures and updates too. I suspect Robin would be happy staying with them permanently! The best dog owners!
We couldn’t have been happier with the care Hattie gave our whippet, Snail, while we were away. From the very first meet and greet, we felt completely at ease, and it was obvious how much her and her partner genuinely love dogs. They treated Snail like one of their own, kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was so reassuring knowing he was happy and settled. It was lovely to hear how well he got on with their dogs too! When we collected him, he was relaxed, happy and clearly had a brilliant time. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hattie to anyone looking for a home boarder, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future.
