Availability

I work remotely from home, so I’m always with my two boys. They get at least three walks a day, plenty of cuddles, tasty treats, and lots of chill time while I’m in meetings or working at my computer. I know how important routine, love, and companionship are for pets - because I live it every day.

🏡 I live in a cosy flat with a balcony that has a tall glass wall. My two dogs love spending a little time out there, but I’ll only allow guest dogs to use the balcony if their owners are comfortable with it. I’m always happy to supervise closely so everyone can enjoy it safely and with peace of mind. 🐾 Inside, your dog will feel right at home. I have a crate available if needed, plus plenty of soft dog beds for relaxing and snuggling. The sofa and bed are absolutely not off limits here - comfort is key, and cuddles are always welcome! 🐶 I prefer looking after dogs in my own home, as my dog Juan is a nervous rescue who feels happiest in familiar surroundings. He loves having other dogs around and gets on brilliantly with canine friends once introduced, so he really enjoys having a furry companion (or two!) stay with us. 🚶 I’m also happy to pick up local dogs to join us for walks or toilet breaks. Since we head out every day, it fits naturally into our routine and means they can enjoy extra company and exercise. With enough notice, I may also be able to provide overnight sitting in your home without my two dogs, as long as my partner is available to stay with them while I’m away.

Information Hattie H. would like to know about your pet

To keep everyone happy and safe, I do require that any dogs mixing with mine are neutered, as my two don’t get along well with unneutered males. I also prefer to meet up with potential clients beforehand whenever possible - just a quick meet and greet to make sure our dogs get along and that you feel totally comfortable leaving your dog in my care. It’s important to me that everyone - two-legged and four-legged - feels good about the arrangement! Having a nervous rescue dog myself, I understand how important it is to recognise triggers, anxiety, and behavioural needs. Please don’t hesitate to let me know in advance about anything specific to your dog - whether it’s quirks, fears, routines, or how they like to be cared for. My goal is always to provide every dog with the love, support, and environment they need to feel happy, safe, and settled. I am a very confident dog Mum and am happiest when I am with my dog sons ❤️

A typical day

A typical day in our home starts with a morning walk before breakfast, then cuddles and naps. As I work remotely, I’m home with the dogs all day. While I’m in meetings or focused on my computer, the dogs relax nearby - on the sofa, in one of the many beds, or soaking up the fresh air on our secure balcony. Throughout the day, we take regular breaks for toilet trips, treats, enrichment, and playtime. I always include visiting other dogs in our routine and make them feel part of the pack. In the evening, we go for a longer walk to ensure every exciting smell has been sniffed and every tree has been claimed! Then we focus on winding down - more cuddles and naps in front of the telly, and lots of attention before bedtime.

A Pet Obsessed Rescue Dog Mum ❤️

Pet care experience

Hey, I’m Hat! 😊 I joined Rover as a sitter in summer 2025 and have loved meeting so many wonderful animals and their families. It’s such a privilege to be trusted with someone’s fur baby, and I feel lucky to give them the love, attention, and comfort they need while they’re with me. 🐾 I grew up with two cats, Tiger and Jet, who joined our family when I was 10. Sadly, Jet passed away young, but Tiger lived an amazing 18 years before passing away in January 2024. He was (and still is) my hero ❤️ 🐾 I’m now the proud mum of two Spanish rescue dogs, Bobby and Juan, who joined our family in 2024. They’ve completely changed my life and taught me so much about the joys and realities of rescue dog life. They’re my children! 🐶 🐾 My animal experience started early with work experience at a cattery and kennels. For over 10 years, I’ve cared for my best friend’s retired racing greyhounds, Lady, Reuben, and now Honey, who is still a huge part of my life and feels like family. I also regularly look after my brother’s energetic working cocker spaniel, Goose, enjoying everything from muddy walks to cosy sofa evenings together. 🐾 I’m fun, kind, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animals (I often prefer them to people 😂). Whether your pet needs adventures, enrichment, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved like one of my own ❤️

We couldn’t have been happier with the care Hattie gave our whippet, Snail, while we were away. From the very first meet and greet, we felt completely at ease, and it was obvious how much her and her partner genuinely love dogs. They treated Snail like one of their own, kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was so reassuring knowing he was happy and settled. It was lovely to hear how well he got on with their dogs too! When we collected him, he was relaxed, happy and clearly had a brilliant time. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hattie to anyone looking for a home boarder, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of Snail!

Hattie and Josh took good care of Pablo and kept us up to date throughout the stay with lovely photos. They had Pablo during a particularly hot period but managed to keep him comfortable and safe. They were flexible regarding pick up and drop off times.
